I had to have a new transmission put in my car and these guys gave me a great deal and did an amazing job! My car runs perfect now. A special shout out to Victor He is the best! Thank you guys again

You know the kind of company that rebuilds an engine, then says they'll back their work, then doesn't? Then does some repairs and charges $700 for you to be able to take your vehicle, without ever giving a quote in the first place? That's German and Nielsen's. Find an honest shop before going here.

Archie is the best! Check engine light came on and it was just a hose that came off. Archie went and got parts and I was on my way repaired and good within a lil while. He is honest and said he would not charge me for things I didn't need. Gave me advice to keep my car running for the long haul. I will be back and referring all my friends n family to him. My transmission went out on Monday and I had my car back on Thursday of the same week. A family-owned business that really tries to accommodate their customer's unique situation.My car was ready as German promised and it runs beautifully! I am grateful he was recommended to me by my mechanic.This is an honest and reliable auto repair shop. I highly recommend them.Service: Transmission replacement

Loved this place, the owner German is a very nice guy. He help me understand and explained everything that was wrong with my car. Fixed the primary problem to my car in such a good amount of time. Good/Fair prices, couldn't afford to pay for the rest of my bill, he manage to help me out to come up with the rest later. Such a caring and understanding person. Definitely bringing my car back here. Totally recommend!

Neilson's is one of the best mechanic shops I've ever been to! German and his staff are wonderful! And if their customer service and warmth aren't enough, their prices will definitely keep you coming back! Bought a lemon of the street and a friend who did the same constantly had motor problems. He told me he did a great job on his replacement motor and refered me to Archie. Very humble man and the customer service is great. Did a great job on my replacement and also did my breaks for a great price. Will be coming here for further fixes, and installations.

By far the best, honest and reliable location I have found up here in Victorville. My car needed work done unexpectedly VW and they were able to see me same day. Other mechanics wanted to charge 3x the price and thankfully I found Archie s and he was reasonable with the price and was able to get it done same day. Will definitely utilize him for all my vehicle needs.

My brother took his car here a few years ago he got it back in a week he had his engine replaced and when he did get it back he had a vacuum leak easy fix don t get me wrong! Me personally I was going to take my truck there for a trans rebuild but I kinda got spooked when I saw all the vehicles in the yard in the back when I asked the owner about all those vehicles he said that s. All the work he has And some of those cars belong to the tire shop Which May be true but I still decided not to leave my truck there Just the thought that they might be charging hidden fees along with storage fees and tell me one price and when I go to pick up my vehicle the digits would double maybe if he cleaned up his yard I would of had more trust

Herman from Archie s Automotive was a pleasure to work with. He was honest with what needed to be done on my 96 GMC c1500. He replaced my transmission quickly and kept me informed. Even showed me the parts that was worn. Will definitely do business here again. It is difficult to find an honest mechanic and I might have found one.

We have been taking our vehicles to German for the past several years. He's very good at diagnosing problems and his work is excellent! This is the most honest mechanic and shop you'll find in the area. German rebuilt the engine on my 97 4Runner and it runs like new! I recommend this shop to anyone needing auto repairs.

I've been coming here for years, with all my vehicles. They have always had friendly and professional service and the work was done right the first time. I have never had to take my car back for the same repairs twice. They are honest and reliable and I have referred both friends and family to them.

Archies is hands down THEE Best automotive spot in the high desert. They were all very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend and if ever I am in need, I will be call no one else but Archies!

NOT a transmission shop.Took 9 weeks to do my transmission. In shop twice. Still not right. Can't afford to take it back. Had to rent vehicle to get to work. Could have bought a new transmission with all the extra money I had to spend. Not happy with them.You've been warnedProceed at own risk

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP"......I had my suv towed to Archies transmission a week ago. The owner asked if I could give him a couple days to see whats wrong with it, I agreed. After 2 days no more correspondence, my calls were not returned, I went there yesterday to see what was going on. His brother told me it was fixed, when Archie/owner arrived he said "he had no idea what was wrong with it, his diagnostic machine was broke, and he suggested I take it to the GMC dealer." There is oil and water mixed in my motor, the owner did test drive but not once told me there was water and oil mixed in my motor, not sure how my head gasket was blown, but I will get to the bottom of it.

I will not go to any other professional to work on my cars. German will fix it right the first time. He knows more about cars than any one I know he replaced a head gasket on an 03 corolla and even went on to tell me about the other issues that I didn't know I had but that were clearly in need of attention. I have told everyone I know that is looking for a shop because they are one of the best.

Came it with my 98 ford ranger. Had some issues with the transmission. Did a tune up for me, changed my coil, spark plugs, oil and air filters for a great price. Totally cool people. Did what they could to keep it financially comfortable and did it all in a matter of a few hours. Great place. I'll be coming back. If I were you I'd check it out.

I have to say these guys have the best work ethic ever. Everytime I bring my cars in they tell me an accurate time of when my car will be ready and have very reasonable prices. As most of us gals we do not know what half of the parts are or what tje problems mean but every one at archies is always willing to explain with apples and pears. Everytime I come the lot is full of cars coming in and out for services, so if they're this busy we all know why!!!! Who would of know too I was talking to them about our jet skiis and how we were having issues with them and they asked to bring them in. And guess what they were able to fix them!!!!! I live in San Bern and I will never hesitate to drive out to archies for any car issues!!!!!!!

They rebuilt the engine on my 1995 Silverado, did a fantastic job with it and have always been more than willing to help me with any extra problems with my truck. I can't recommend them enough.

DO NOT USE!!! I taken my suv there to rebuild the transmission. When I got it back I drove it for not even 200 miles and the problem occurred again so I took it back to be redone and it took them 4 months to get it back to me again just for the same problem to come back NOT A GOOD SHOP!!!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I was stranded on I avenue and everyone had flaked. I started calling around and mobile mechanics were only wiling to day theu didn't know the answer.
