High Desert Auto & RV Hesperia CA is a family run business and the owner Brett and his mechanics are friendly and they all posses excellent mechanical skills an knowledge. Brett and his mechanics have worked on all of my older cars and they know exactly what they are doing. I highly recommend that you use High Desert Auto & RV Hesperia CA. You won't be sorry.

Recently used HD auto and RV for some major engine repairsMet with Brett. He explained my options gave me an accurate quote. When our motorhome engine died Brett went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. Updated us every step of the way until we were back on the road. If we lived closer we would have all of our vehicles serviced here. Very Honest, Professional and knowledgeable team. I am a single mother of 3 whose spouse is on deployment. Living check to check, I recently started work as delivery driver and my vehicle is a necessity. With us breaking down, I was stressed and stretching my last dollar. Their knowledge and way of explaining what work needed to be done left me feeling like it was my own father fixing my vehicle. They were able to help with financing plans to help cover the cost. Got me in and out one day, no appointment, just walk in and a prayer.I am so grateful for this company and strongly recommend them to all in the Hesperia, Apple Valley, and Victorville area. 10 stars all around great place to bring your vehicle needs.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Brett is one of a kind. He treats you like family. His communication is clear and very professional. His rates are reasonable and the work is unbelievable. He went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. I will never take my RV anywhere else and I don't live in Hesperia. We go here for RV repair and maintenance issues. Will never go back to a dealer as long as local repair does the job in a manner that this repair shop does. Our RV is not left for weeks/months for repairs, Brett (the owner) is extremely experienced and knowledgeable, repairs are explained in a manner easy to understand and completed in a thorough and timely manner. We highly recommend the High Desert Auto & RV repair for all repair assistance.

Brett and Lori are absolutely the greatest people I ve met in a long time. They made my experience amazing. I needed my work done in short order for me to make a trip to Wyoming. Not only did they get it done on time they followed up with me to see how the trip went. I go in there and get a quote for $600 to replace a broken stud bolt. They tell me it will be a week so I make an appointment. I show up on my appointment and they tell me I was supposed to be there at 8:30. I wait another week. Two weeks I wait and I show up on my appointment exactly on time just for him to tell me that now it is $666 what an ironic number I then proceeded to say you are not communicating with me this is not what you told me before and he kicked me out of the place. Absolutely the most unprofessional business I've ever seen in my life! Please do not go here please!

Brett was able to get me in within an hour notice to have my car A/C serviced. In just 45 minutes, my A/C was working again! Service was quick and friendly and I feel that I can trust them for any future needs. Brett is very knowledgeable and took his time explaining the details. I will definitely be back!

I am revising my review due to the problems I had with a recent RV trip across the lower half of the United states to the east coast and back. Although this establishment does good work, their road inspection techniques leave little to be desired. I brought it in for what they deemed to be a "road worthy" inspection. There were some critical items that failed during my trip that were preventable had they inspected them. These incidents cost me $3000 in repairs and we lost about a month of travel time sitting and waiting for repairs away from home. The rear suspension failed on the first day and cost us 3 weeks. The mechanic told me the shear springs were torn and thus failed. I was told by High Desert RV that my brakes were fine, but the front pad broke, causing rotor damage. The mechanic who serviced it showed me how thin the pads were. Also, the inside my front tires were worn down to the metal (which was discovered during the brake check) So I had to get an alignment and two new front tires. My rear differential was leaking. A mechanic in Louisiana told me the fluid was extremely low and he had to add some.These were ALL items which if given a proper inspection, could have easily prevented the problems we've had. I since sold my RV because of the expense in repairs, and the fact that I was totally disillusioned over the whole experience. My biggest concern was to get home safely. The other BIG issue was that 90% of the RV service facilities would NOT work on my RV. I depended on mobile RV repair techs and some truck tire shops, we were LUCKY to run across during our issues. I was also thankful that the two major issues (rear suspension and brakes) happened when we stayed at friend's and relatives so we didn't incur hotel costs, or sitting in parking lots waiting to get fixed.If you use High Desert Auto and RV for road inspections, be sure to go to another establishment and get a second opinion.7.8.22:Response to High Desert RV. We did NOT take an unpaved road! We traveled to Phoenix AZ on I-10 and when we pulled into a Pilot for fuel, the shear spring broke. The other services that you had mentioned were not the ones that failed. I just want to make sure everyone is clear on that. Get a second opinion when you take a long trip folks!

I came across the shop while renting a UHaul trailer from them. Brett was able to diagnose an issue I was having with my diesel truck while I was hooking up to the trailer. I was so impressed by that, I decided to give him a shot with some repairs and upgrades that I was planning for the truck. Good diesel mechanics arent easy to find and I had been driving all the way to Anaheim for several years to use a shop that I was comfortable with.At the end of the day, I got good solid service and the repairs were done right the first time. I have taken my RV to other establishments in the High Desert. I never felt like they fully took care of my issues or treated me like a true customer. That was until I dropped off my motor home with Brett. Right from the beginning I felt like he cared about me as a customer and wanted to take care of the issues that I brought it in for. He gave me a quote over the phone and when I came in I had asked him to do a couple of additional items. One of the items he was unable to locate for me but gave me options to look into. The other item he didn t even charge me for it. When I picked it up it was just as I had asked and he gave me some options for some urgent needs that I would need to address at a future time. I have to say I left there feeling that Brett did what I had asked and went above and beyond. He even charged me less then what was quoted. I had asked another RV tech for a price for the same job and it was $150 dollars more. I will definitely be bringing my motor home back for future needs. I would highly recommend taking your RV there before taking it to any other dealership. Great job Brett!

I strongly recommend High Desert Auto and RV for your auto and RV. They did a "work-around" for my A/C system so that I would not miss the vacation that my wife and I have planned for months.... I broke down in my desiel pusher rv on our way out of state and was not from the area, and Brett was very busy with other customers vehicles, but he understood my dilemma and got right on it. Brett and Lori were so nice and hospitable. He found the part I needed even though it was rare and got it in and got us on our way. I highly recommend this Shop. I highly recommend High Desert Auto & RV for friendly, honest service. I brought my RV in for an oil change, break check and shock replacement. Brett and Lori were friendly and helpful. In particular, Brett was kind enough to answer my many questions and offered some very helpful advice. He even helped me hook up my tow dolly when we were ready to leave. He went above and beyond in service. I will definitely return here if I am in the area in the future.

I brought in my 2017 Silverado with the AC blowing hot air. I was visiting my brothers and getting ready to go back to Texas. End of June during a heat-wave.Brett had me bring in my truck at 5:30 am, and found that the condenser had a leak. He was able to get the replacement parts the same day and get the cold air blowing the same day!!! Very professional and courteous. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a great and honest mechanic!Service: A/C installation & repair

We had a breakdown with our diesel pusher motorhome while travelling south for our winter vacation. We were towed to High Desert RV. They did an outstanding job of accommodating our needs.
