My car would start , I had to get a jump but it would turn right ba�k off , I had it towed to AAction on 9/13/23 , what they saidwas I had a blown fuse 25 engine control , 3 shorted IG Coil ,and a Mass meter wires damaged , spark plugs removed and replaced , inline 4 mSs meter pigtails replaced .I paid $1,262.77 , on 10/30/23 I took it ba k to them bekause I was basically doing the same thing of what made me take the car to the on 9/13 .I was told that it was the fuse thats from my battery that was the reason for keeping my car down , my thing is didn't I just pay them for this problem ? Why am I back here again ? So he told me that he can order another fuse but it'll take 3 days for it to be back he said that for the cost of that with the labor will be $248 .00I told him that I will call him back and told a friend that live nextdoor what was told to me , as a woman I wanted to hear what a man reaction would be , my friend said OH NO ! Just for that ? I said yea , he said that's ridiculous , so I had my friend to take me to go get my car , so he wanted to charge me $48 for the moment of having my car , I told him , No ! I paid you already and was bringing my car back so you can fix the problem of something I already paid for , he tried telling me well why did you sign the paper ? I said I didn't sign no paper , he said oh yes you did I said show me what I signed and he said well you might didn't see it why it wasn't signed , and I said no you never passed me a paper to sign one time , all he had to do was shock his cameras he would of seen that I was telling the truth .So he said you know what just go ahead , and I told him , there's nothing that I have to lie about , when I brought my car in in September yes I signed the papers but on the time when I took it back which was yesterday of me writing this review no I didn't sign anything .I have a music system in my car and my music doesn't sound the same I'm gonna go and have the place I got my music installed at to check my speakers to make sure they wasn't switched out for some reason im not feeling right . . I'm an African American woman and I was feeling like I was got just because of my skin color but but I had to snap back like no you can't think like that . . So you guys I'm back were I started from , , I done paid all of my birthday money to him and my car is sitting in my garage again needing a jump every time I need to get in it .gave them all of my money just so I can be Carless with my car just sitting in the garage .I was trying to post here what I seen just today on the BBB page and if you don't believe me go and look yourself , this place is rated a C -If I would had known that before I wouldn't had never went there , they need to go in there undercover and take a car in there and let it be a Woman , or a woman Old .

I brought in my truck with a leaking power steering box, leaking coolant, and leaking master cylinder. The shop diagnosed quickly and kept their word on timeline and price. No surprises. No nonsense. I took my car there for a catalytic converter replacement thru the CAP program and they quoted the job at $1800 plus smog cert, they also quoted my wife $680 to replace 4 spark plugs and charged $210 for a smog. I'm willing to pay but not for those prices and they kept the car for 3 days to tell me what I already knew cause another shop had done the smog already. So I received a receipt for $210 that they charged the CAP program and payed $42 out of pocket!

They are wonderful mechanics good honest old school like how it use to be. They are straight to the point and won t try to mess with prices .. they do what s fair and reasonable and keep well rounded contact with their customers.. take it from me being a tow truck driver and going to numerous shops for people these people I highly recommend

These guys are great. When you get your vehicles repaired at A-Action it stays fixed. They just did a full brake upgrade on my '14 F-150. They also maintain our old PT Cruiser and my Mrs. Or I could jump in and take a cross country trip without a worry.

Well I drove over a broken sign in the road and I messed up the yolk on my drive shaft. The guy put a new driveshaft but right after I picked it up I had a transmission leak. It s an old car, it seems like best practice would be to check the driveshaft seal on the back of the transmission when you swap one out on an old car or maybe even replace it proactively because it s a easy to do and a cheap part too. Instead, we had to go back and pay $90 to have it replaced on top of the $500+ we had already payed to have the driveshaft replaced. He upsold me from a yolk to a driveshaft and offered one with zirc fittings but he didn t have an upsell offer to replace the seal? Disappointing because it would have been an easy, smart, cheap, proactive thing to do. I hope this story inspires the workers here to be more thoughtful. Also, when I got it back, the parking brake no longer automatically releases when I put the car in park even when I pull the release handle. They said I brought it in that way but I know it worked before because I use it all the time on my steep driveway. I have been getting by without my parking brake.

I had a huge and not very fun problem with my car and took it to Dale. Even though they had serious issues going on with a few workers the job got done on my car and I am back in business. I truly appreciate all the guys at Action Auto.

Dale & Dustin saved us today. We were broke down far from home as we were passing through town and they, in spite of a very busy day, they came to our rescue and worked on our vehicle in a very timely manner. I was referred here by A-TECH transmission. The team here fixed my check engine light that has been on for 2/3 years. I've paid Amco 1500 for their guess work and it didn't work and I was also quoted by another mechanic 1800. These guys fixed it for under 500$. Dale was very open and transparent with his expertise. I would recommend this shop to anyone with engine trouble. They are my new go to shop.

I have always taken my vehicles here. Trust is important and I feel the Gentlemen that run this shop are fair and keep my vehicle safe for me to drive. Plus is they are hilarious to talk to when you are stressed about your vehicle.

Steve, Dale, and all the mechanics at A Action are great mechanics. If you are looking for honesty. This is the place to go. They won't fix things just for an extra buck. They have been my mechanics for the past 8 or so years. I may have to stop driving if they ever decide to retire. Honest, hard working, quick, affordable. These are just a few words to describe these wonderful bunch of guys.

It was an expensive set of fixes, but they did get my son's old Honda Accord codes repaired so it passed its smog check after failing elsewhere.

All of our cars, for around the past 8-10 years have been serviced by A Action. I have found Steve, Dale and all the mechanics friendly, reliable and the service great and affordable.We have since moved out of state and we'll miss their service and advice when I needed it. I'm hoping to find a mechanic here in Salisbury, N.C. that can at least match the great service I received at A Action. Thank you Steve, Dale and all you guys. God bless.Tim and Jane De Beaumont

Took my car to get diagnosed told him specifically cylinder for with misfiring to diagnose that left it there with him it was Dustin came back he wanted to charge me another $191 to diagnose what I already had told him to do so no I would not recommend ths place just trying to get money off of you and really not honestService: Vehicle InspectionService: Vehicle Inspection

I would not recommend this place if u need a diagnostic done.i was told what i needed to correct problem. Dale said he would call when done. Never did. Call them before closing was told car was done. Picked up vehicle next day drove 43miles check engine lite turned on and vehicle shut off just like before. Took vehicle back asked them why the problem was still there? Dale couldn't give me an answer.left vehicle again kept all day. Called me end of day said what problem was and would cost couple hundred dollars but could not say that would fix the problem. Unless u have 2 cars and dont mind leaving ur car overnite and spending hundreds on a job that they wont guarantee i would stay away from this place. I also checked the cost of my parts with 3 different place and found their charge for my part was almost double. So moral of story read reviews and go from there.

What a relief! These guys are professionals! Took my Cherokee in for two things (offbeat stuff. I'd just bought it and the prior owner had had jiggered with it.) Price seemed right, work was fine, My sense of confidence in them is very high! This feeling of confidence is worth a great deal to me... after all, incompetent mechanices are America's Hell. I live 25 miles from them but it's well worth the trip! Fred

I have an old Jeep that I had for a little over a decade.. I have a love/hate relationship with it. I used to hate it and now because of A Action, I love it! My Jeep runs better than it ever has! The dealer wouldn t touch it and neither would any other shops. The all told me that they couldn t hook up a computer to it so they couldn t work on it. I took my Jeep in for a hard to diagnose fuel problem (I ve had the wrong fuel pump in it the entire time I ve owned it) and it came back to me purring like a kitten, exhaust leak fixed, and sagging passenger door fixed all at no additional charge! I have pride in ownership again!

A scam. Their prices are outrageous. They have ridiculous stipulations just for you to allow your insurance to do a claims adjustment. Would not recommend at all!!

I had my car taken here to have a diagnostic, I had told them that I had a power steering fluid leak. I clearly wanted a further evaluation, yet they just said that I had a "power steering fluid hose leak". Clearly I had known that already, I decided to figure out what the issue was and it was the power steering pressure hose. They had told me it would cost more than 500$ to fix it, and then seemed shocked when I told them no. So instead of paying 500$ to fix my car for a diagnostic they failed to let me know what the diagnostic was, I saved myself roughly 480$. DONT GO HERE!
