The team was super friendly and helpful! They were able to look at my car the same day I took it in. I will definitely go back if I have any more car issues.

I've lived in 3 of the 4 corners of the country and Hermosa Automotive is the best, most honest auto shop I've ever encountered. They serviced my vehicle on multiple occasions, always getting me in as soon as possible and getting the job done quickly and effectively with fair, honest pricing. More recently when I had an emergency, they got me in the next morning at 8am and they didn't charge me a dollar when it was determined my car was dead and no longer drivable. Told me to put the money towards a new car. It really meant a lot to me. I couldn't recommend this place enough.

The guy's name who diagnosed my car was Pete. He asked for $1600 to change the water pump. However, after having it diagnosed by 2 other shops, they sincerely informed me that this was a fabrication issue from VW, so they do change it for free.They also told me that all the shops are aware of this VW policy, so he should have told you!I didn't appreciate his dishonest commercial gesture, I felt that he tried to scam us.Not trustworthy!

Brought two cars here for a smog check. Service was very fast and it took ~20 minutes for each car. Pete was super helpful and a good guy to chat with. I would easily come back here for future maintenance. Smog check was $60 for my newer vehicle and $80 for my 1996 vehicle (required running the vehicle on the Dyno), which is reasonable for the area.Service: Vehicle Inspection

First time working with Hermosa Automotive and I had the pleasure of working with Pete. From the moment we spoke on the phone to the moment I picked up my car, Pete was friendly and helpful, seemingly rare qualities at auto shops these days. He walked me through what they did to diagnose my issue and they value repeat-customers over nickel-and-diming you. First time I used this service. I have had several issues with neighboring auto repairs and just hoping to find an honest repair shop. I have a car I am selling and was making a loud steering noise. I was nervous that I was going to have to invest more money into a car I am selling. Not only was it a minor repair, it was done quickly and at an acceptable cost. I will be coming back for future services.

Can't speak enough to the service and kindness of the team at Hermosa Automotive. Pete and Ron were very friendly and talked me through exactly what was wrong with my car and what they replaced. They were able to wrap everything up same day, and the whole process was seamless. I will definitely be back here for future repairs and will recommend these guys to friends and neighbors.

Good honest shop, I drive a sixteen year old Prius that needed work, they told me what I needed and what they recommended based on their experience but did not push me on it, let me think about it and decide. I got a refurbished part from a third party vendor, they had no issue with installing it. They also replaced the big battery. And to top it off they washed and detailed the car. Very, very happy with this shop.

Had my transmission fixed on my Mercedes-Benz from Victor amazing experience he was very thorough had great communication with me every step of the way I felt totally comfortable his ethics and his morals very on point especially for the bad reputation mechanics get Victor is the man to go to he definitely keeps everything transparent and just is such an amazing mechanic definitely will go back and highly recommend them to anybody

Robert is the owner, he is a straight shooter and if there's something wrong with the car he will quote you a fair price (best labor prices you'll find around the beach cities). He will also tell you if there is nothing wrong with your car, instead of hooking you for some unnecessary updates, etc. like most dealerships do.

Wow! An honest automotive repair shop? Yep! Right here on Pacific Coast Highway in Hermosa Beach.These guys are no nonsense & good at what they do. They replaced the heater core in my mom's old caddie without upselling her or snowballing her on other needless things to repair. It was expensive but removing the entire dashboard would be.This is now our family's go to auto repair shop.

This place is the best shop I've ever been to, the technician Ron is very knowledgeable and up to date on all the latest vehicles, and his service writer Pete is very kind and informative as well. I'm very happy I found a shop I can trust.

Fast and friendly! You will either meet the owner or a rep, but either way, you will deal with honest workers who will not scam you like other mechanic shops. You will get an honest quote with quality work on your car.

I was referred by Anthony from the location on 190th and he made sure that my vehicle would be Repaired by Ron due to the fact that his location would be closed on the day I needed emergency repair.Will come again!
