Johnny is a lifesaver... Our truck broke down last year when visiting diamond valley lake and this was the place that fixed it. They went above and beyond to make sure we would be able to go back to our home in LA driving our old truck the same day, and we did! Staff was friendly, and we had an incredible experience with the office assistants!

I recommend this shop to everyone. I have been going here for many many years and am extremely satisfied with the work I have done. California Auto Works is the best auto shop in town. Anthony and Johnny are the ones who work on my cars, very respectful and helpful.

I've been using California Auto Workz for 3 vehicles over the last 2 years on multiple projects ranging in complication from standard oil change & misc maint. services to a full engine replacement and I can say with certainty you will not find a better mechanic out there who puts more care into their work and their customers. Johnny & his crew are awesome. If you're looking for "your guy" like I was for years, then look here - you won't be disappointed.

I only get my oil changed at this place! The owner is super nice and is very knowledgeable. He can get my cars in and out of there in no time. It s nice and refreshing to have an honest mechanic work on my cars. Thank you for such a great mechanic experience! After getting the runaround from several auto shops, I ended up at California Autoworkz. Initially I thought it would just be another dishonest/ upsell oriented establishment like the rest of them. I WAS WRONG!!!! Thankfully Johnny and Anthony provided an honest diagnosis and speedy repair. Once you find an honest, knowledgeable shop, you would be a fool to go anywhere else! Had my car at a couple places in Hemet trying to figure out an intermittent problem. One shop had my car for three days with no answers and others with similar results brought it to California auto works. They were able to diagnose my intermittent electric issue within 3 to 4 hours, they did a wire repair and I was back out on the road!! posting this because this is the stuff that needs to be recognized for shops around there they can actually diagnose a car and fix it and not give you some answer to send you out the door like other shopsService: Auto engine diagnostic

Well, I guess if Your just getting basic work done to your Vehicle then try them Out... If Your Trying to get any In-depth Engine work done, Go somewhere that is Willing to do the Work... Seems Like All Mechanics Now in days just want to Pull out The Engine and Do It the Lazy and easy Way, yet Charge You an Arm and Leg, and Maybe Your First Born, Specially if Your Vehicle is European... Sad that Most Mechanics are Losing the Ability to Really Fix and Learn as They Go when Getting Into a Motor... They Just Don't want to Do It... So ....?

I took my car to two different mechanics and spend hundreds of dollars trying to fix my issues. I was finally referred to Anthony and within one day my car was fixed and back on the road. The Knowledge his staff has made me feel at ease that my problems were finally coming to an end. Cannot thank them enough! If I could give 6 starts a would! Friendly, knowledgeable and very fair price. Finally found my mechanic and I will not go elsewhere!

Great people, great pricing, very knowledgeable. Was having electrical problems with my car, in less than an hour the problem was diagnosed addressed and fixed, my car runs like brand new now. If it would let me rate 6 stars out of 5 I would! Thank you California Auto Workz

Overall outstanding experience. Anthony offers genuine customer service, mechanical expertise, and reasonable pricing. He delivers with his service and product. I recently took in my daughter's 2004 Honda Civic, and Anthony diagnosed the problem promptly. He explained the problem in a clear, concise manner. After the repairs, I noticed a leak. I took the car back and he was happy to check it out and fix the leak right away. It's been a week since Anthony repaired the car and it's running great! I am happy to have found a decent, ethical, and professional mechanic in this town! Thank you Anthony!

Anthony is awesome !!!We went in to have a part replaced an do to my time crunch I wasn't able to have him work on my vehicle (he's always booked but worth the wait) so he was able to send us to another shop close by an they was very timely on what they done an I am happy with their service , I recommend going to California Auto works , Anthony didnt have to tell me about the other shop but did an it helped out a lot do to my time crunchTHANKS ANTHONY !We will be back

Anthony and his team have done a few repairs for our vehicles over the past year. He has always given us a great price, been very informative, and completed the repairs in a timely manner. We'll definitely be back again!

OMG! I read other's reviews about this place and thought "yeah okay". So I got the a/c service from Groupon. I joke you not, I called 8am and by 9:15 my a/c is blowing ice cold! I didn't even have to get out of the car. Would give 15 stars if I could!! Thank you thank you. Nothing worse than no a/c in this state
