Still the best. Decades go by and this place just gets better. Still family owned and operated and I feel old seeing the "kids" running the office and the shop. America needs more of these (businesses and families).

This is the best automotive shop you can take your car to. The service is great and they stand behind their work. The owners are really nice people who built their business on reputation. Call early, they are popular!

Fincher's auto does an amazing job hands down! I've taken both my Toyota pickup and my Honda CR-V to Fincher's for mechanical work and gotten them back in great mechanical order. I will add since they do such an amazing job be prepared for a short wait to have your car worked on. Best to call and make an appointment but you won't be dissatisfied!!

Fincher's Auto Service Inc was super helpful, kind, knowledgeable and reasonable! Lovely Healdsburg isn't the worst place to brake down, but I never expected a busy mechanic shop to except a walk-in, and that is exactly what they did! From the thoughtful, professional, and kind Taylor, who helped me on the phone, to the wonderful mechanic, (who's name I wish I could remember), I was in the shop for a breezy 10 minutes! They reset t my cars computer, and that was it! I highly recommend this fabulous business!Service: Electrical

Friendly competent service. They replaced front wheel bearings correctly and it was done same day for the estimated amount. I have no idea if the repair price was low, high or average and I don't care. Work done correctly with no hassles is more important. Highly recommended.

Incredible family business. We were in Healdsburg from out of town. Despite an overly full schedule, they were able to order me a new alternator, install it and have my car back to me in a few hours. They are wonderful people who really know cars!! Only use them for auto service when in Healdsburg!! They came highly recommended so I took my car there even though I don't live near them. They don't have loaner cars. They're not open on weekends. They told me I had to obtain my own part for my car because they didn't deal with the Hyundai dealership. They made it sound like I'd have to go online or it would be unpleasant to deal with the dealership. I very easily obtained my own part for them fun the dealership and then it turned out that they needed more than one of the part that they had had me obtain for them. They decided to deal with the Hyundai dealership and found out, like me, that it's not hard to get parts from the dealership. The issue with my car was fixed and they didn't charge me much. They had also trip checked my car and they said it was good to go. They waived a fee if I remember correctly.

Well they replaced my radiator, said it was the slow leak I had in my coolant system. I went on vacation the day after it was "fixed" for 11 days and drove 450 miles. The day I was coming home I got the same check coolant level warning light I often got. The radiator replacement DIDN'T fix the problem. For $749.00 it should have. I spent another $240 at a shop in Oregon replacing a coolant hose that had been leaking for a while they said and haven't had any issues since. So my question is did it really ever even need the radiator cuz it sure didn't fix the problem they said it would. I have no way of proving it didn't need a radiator. They said it was probably both the radiator they replaced and the hose that was replaced in Oregon. Fincher's had it 4 days and didn't find the slow leaking hose that the Oregon shop found and fixed in less than 2 hours. So not too great an experience and very expensive to replace a part that probably didn't even need replacing. And I'm on social security and am not even a wealthy person. I feel taken advantage of but can't prove it. Though I am gonna try.

The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable. They do honest work, explain to you their reasoning, and really do help people as fast as they're able. I appreciated that they showed us the worn out part taken from our vehicle vs the replacement to give us assurance of what we paid. They were only a few dollars more expensive than some of the big box locations but that money is well worth it because I felt incredibly comfortable with the service they provided so consider them an excellent value to boot.

As a single parent I've felt confident sending my teenage son to Fincher's. They only do service there that is needed. They show my son what they are doing in person so that he feels more confident in the mechanic's of the vehicle he is driving. They always make sure he understands the repairs needed, what will be done to the vehicle, and the cost before doing any work! Highly recommended!

Great service from a team you can trust. Tim diagnosed problem right away and provided necessary service to my older, beloved car. He even gave recommendations to help keep it running smoothly. Family owned and operated. Will definitely be back.

We have been taking all of our vehicles to Finchers for over 3 years and they are both excellent and honest. I highly recommend them to all of our friends and family. They are the best period in our honest opinion.

just had a great experience after having three different auto places tell me things that were wrong not knowing who to trust. A friend uses Finchers and said only honest place. so went there and several of the thngs were not needing to be fixed. the main things that did were reasonable and when they were done actually showed the bad parts i never had this happen. real friendly. It is worth the trip from Rohnert Park.

One of best local repair shops excellent and honest! This the only place I trust enough to have him fix what I need and give them an "Open" ticket to repair anything else they find wrong. I been going to the Fincher's for over 20 years and Never felt the need to look for another auto shop since.

Had such high hopes, looks like this place just scams like every other mechanic.Ordinarily, I only bring my cars to shops for mounting tires, the rest I do myself. Engine rebuilds, brakes, suspensions etc I know my way around a wrench. Had visitors from out of town who wanted to borrow my daily, but it needed an oil change. Being short on time I made an appointment for them at this joint. Specifically instructed them to change the oil and oil filter, nothing else. Pick up the car and see a $15 charge on the receipt for rotating the tires. They were not asked to do this. They were specifically told not to. Whatever, no big deal, right? What really grinds my gears is them telling my friends to let me know that "my front brakes are almost done and need to be replaced as soon as possible" and the receptionist wanted to immediately make an appointment. I have just done pads and rotors myself not 1000 miles ago - they were and are flawless.Had to go here because I didn't have time. Next time, I will make time.

Wonderfully helpful shop for a traveler in need. We damaged our car and needed assistance to figure out what was wrong and DeAnna went out of her way to find someone else that could help us with diagnostics as they were fully booked.

10 years ago I bought a pair of Chrysler LeBaron convertibles for my daughters. Both were over 100k miles.I gave Tim an open ticket on each and he did the required repairs. Both have given a decade of reliable transportation.One is going to need an engine soon and Fincher will get the job!

This review is a long time coming.... Tim has repaired every vehicle I own for the last 15-20 years .....saved me tons of time and money by bailing me out on several occasions.... Absolutely the most honest and knowledgeable mechanic I ve ever met.
