This was a great buying experience! Debb was extremely helpful during my test drive with the 2023 ID.4 and answered all my questions and then some. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.The manager, sorry I forgot his name, was also very helpful and professional. He worked hard to make the deal I wanted happen and didn t at any point say he couldn t do something. He made every effort and I appreciate that a lot.Last but certainly not least, Vlad, the finance manager, made finalizing the sale and leasing experience seamless. He had everything ready and explained terms very clearly. He took the time to answer my questions thoroughly as we went through the paperwork.This is a great place to get your next car. Only thing is this might not be the best place to trade in/sell. They gave me an offer, I fully disclosed the prior damage to my vehicle, they verified with carfax BEFORE taking my keys, and then came back 3 days later saying a separate service, AutoCheck, states there s multiple accidents (there wasn t, it s just one incident but the repair shop states 3 sides since the bumper cover reaches around to both sides of the car). They dropped my offer by $3500. Complete none sense. It felt underhanded as I had a better offer elsewhere and that s gone now too.Too bad. Everything was great up until this point but the car selling experience absolutely soured everything.

Car has been taken into the dealership several times for the same issue, however the issue is still not fixed. Dealership refuses to provide a loaner vehicle despite the vehicle being covered under warranty, purchased new back in October 2022. I had to call the dealership several times over the course of a few weeks because nobody was following up with my messages that were being left after I would explain my vehicle issue with the receptionist at the service center.

I would not recommend taking your car here for service. They misdiagnosed what was wrong / missed the root cause. Turns out it was an issue with the cam magnet but they replaced the spark plugs and serpentine belt etc. Also, they claimed to have fixed a leak in my oil separator but when I had to bring my car to another shop because I was still having issues they showed me that repair had not in fact been done. So I am just out the $556 and will have to pay for diagnostic and another shop to actually fix it. I cannot get the manager to return my call and have contacted corporate as well to no avail. Super frustrating. Whole point in taking it to the dealership in the first place was it s supposed to be trustworthy and service guaranteed. I would also double check what they are charging you hourly for labor. Last time they charged me $506 for not even 2 hours of work.

I am appalled by the condition my car was returned. There are wires disconnected all over the place, missing relays, trim pieces removed. My car was in the service area for more than 4 weeks and these people who claim to be mechanic's could not figure out what was wrong with my car. I never got 1 phone call from anyone to keep me updated. I contacted a mobile mechanic he diagnosed the problem within 30 min. The ignition needs to be replaced. Simple fix, these clowns couldn't figure out in 4 weeks. I was hesitant to take it to them because the car has been serviced for years and years. Big mistake, I will not make again.

I selected the above rating due to the exceptional customer service experience provided by the Volkswagen team in Hayward. Connie has been my salesperson for over a decade, and her professionalism consistently ensures VIP satisfaction. Our family has been loyal to Volkswagen for more than 12 years, and the manager, Yama, is incredibly supportive and knowledgeable, he guided me towards the best car options for our family. Yama did what it s takes to give me the best customer service experience.

It was the best car shopping experience ever! Really appreciated Lucy and Ashley s help when we walked in! They are sincere and welcoming. Even tho shopping is my favorite activity but trust me I always hated car shopping just because I feel there are always too many tricks and tactics during the process. But thanks to Yama, as a sales manager, he knows what s the most important value to do business - honest. And we were able to have straight forward conversations with VWHW team when buying a car just like buying anything else!

It was very good but they didn't do an explanation of the controls and I now have discovered 2 strips of color in the speedometer cluster that shouldn't be there. Makes me wonder if they intentionally wanted to hide this and now I have to deal with a possible cluster replacement on a new vehicle.

Hey guy I Just purchased a VW Jetta today at VW Hayward and the people thier are wonderful thank you Corina I hope I spelled her name right, the lady is wonderful she help with the test drive nice conversation, while she is working with an injury she help me out real good, plus the financing man and the closing the deal Guy everyone at the dealership was on point. Great people I will be sending friends and family to get new car

Staff carefully explained to me why the engine warning light came on. I was very relieved to hear that.It was very easy to book online.They explained everything to me, without giving me any sign that they didn't like my English, which is not very good. I was very happy.

I recently had the pleasure of receiving assistance from Robert at the service department while getting an oil change for my Volkswagen, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience. Robert not only helped me understand the entire oil change process, but he also made me feel genuinely happy to be there. He is so down to earth !!! I was not told that I would charged for the service when dropping off my vehicle. I have an extended warranty and assumed this service was covered. Also I wasn't contacted to let me know my vehicle was ready for pick-up. I can only assume that it's because of the bougs charge of $45.00. The cashier couldn't even explain to me why I was being charged.

For the last 3-4 times I have brought in my 2018 VW Tiguan, the "Check Left/Right Daytime Running Lights" warning light keeps popping up. I thought VW would finally take care of it. But, again, the warning light shows up. There's no issue I believe but the warning light is pretty annoying. And I keep paying for something that doesn't get fixed. But, the 70k oil change/tune up and brake job was good. Shuttle wasn't offered the day of pickup.

Special thanks to Connie (Sales Consultant) for her help in making the whole process comfortable and smooth. She is awesome. Also to Vlad (Finance Manager) for his friendly professional service. Explaining the details of terms to my understanding as well as the features of the vehicle. You guys are awesome and why I recommend this dealership to friends and family.

We purchased a car from and sold our car to Hayward. They have had the vehicle 6 weeks, owe us a substantial amount of money and have claimed now for weeks the check is in the mail.The most recent time we were told if it doesn't arrive this week call again and we will reissue with a tracking number and it was painful to get this out of them and surprise it hasn't arrived. The mailbox is full for the finance contact at the dealership. Our car, for which we haven't received money, is currently for sale on their lot. We have now engaged any atty to get paid.

I called the sales department for an e-Golf and I got Vlad as my sales consultant. Vlad was quite sincere, knowledgeable about the car, the deal and he does care for his customers, I had a great feelings over the phone. Everything was explained in details, no vague promises or information. I m moving from a 2017 eGolf SE to a new 2019 SE because of the great deal VW has and the better standard options. The price of the new car after rebates is less than the price dealer gave me for my old car, it s a no brainer to get the new one.Vlad explained about the finance and the restrictions for the deal clearly, he got the color that I preferred and promised to get it ready before I came. To make sure everything was good, he recommended us to fill out applications online although we currently have a loan with VW credit. We did and were approved.When we came, Vlad was charging our new car, the car was detailed and ready. We test drove the car to make sure it s good. Vlad was explaining all features of the car while we re driving, he s a real car enthusiast, not just a salesperson. It s quite fun and informative test drive.The dealer is not very big, but everything seems nice, our finance manager was nice and easy, I believe Carla was the name, we re in/out quite quickly.The numbers were exactly as quoted and we love the dealer honesty.When we came out, Vlad was trying to get some glue spots out of the new car that were missed by the detail person, we really appreciated Vlad attention to details.We would give 5 stars for everything, the best salesperson and the dealer that employs this type of person. It was the most pleasant new car buying experience ever.

Robert was helpful. He explained the service I d be receiving that day and outlined future service appointments. He gave me feedback on how to protect my engine from contaminated gasoline. I was greeted by Vlad, a person who was instrumental in selling me the vehicle a year ago. Everyone was very helpful and courteous.

Awesome staff tried a full hour to help fix tv in lounge. Got factory recalls fixed and free oil change for new car, longest car warranties of any dealership. Only honest sales people I ever met, don't push or gouge. I settled on VW only after all other dealerships proved corrupt. Got the Taos and love it. Bathrooms really clean, service superior all around. I would marry one of them!

I made a service appointment online but I'm not sure if that made a difference and they couldn't explain to me whether or not it did when I arrived. Besides that, however, the service was great, especially when we started talking to Rocky! The shuttle driver was super nice and knew his way around Hayward very well. I got an oil change and the price was on the higher side but I expected that. They did a complimentary inspection and suggested what else my car needs in the near future, and they even gave my car a much needed complimentaty car wash! I'm very grateful I decided to try them out for my oil change and highly recommend them if you don't mind spending a little bit more for thorough and high quality service!

I strongly recommend the service shop. They are honest and upfront about pricing. We were out of town and needed a work done. I called the VW Hayward shop to ask about the out of town mechanic s quote. I was advised that my car was not due for all the services and I should proceed with caution. I really appreciated that. It s so hard to find a shop you can trust. The staff is personable. The maintenance and repairs are solid and done quickly. We have been clients since 2016 and have been happy with all their work.

I had a great experience getting the car of my dreams here! Ashley helped me out over email and then in person and was knowledgeable, friendly without being pushy, and super helpful!!! I would highly recommend asking for her when it comes to your car needs.
