Quick Tune And Brake auto shop is our first stop for most of our car service's needs. We call and check with Sean whenever we have car problems. Their service is reliable, the price is compatible and honest. We have no worry to leave our car there and it's done well every time.I'm so glad we have Quick Tune And Brake nearby. Really appreciate their services.

When I moved back to the Bay Area about 5 years ago, one of my many stressors was finding an honest and competent mechanic.I asked around and for some recommendations. None of them impressed me.So I kept asking around. About a year later, I asked a freind who sells used cars. He told me about Quick Tune & Brake. He told me the owner is and honest and comes from a good family. I took my car there and have been taking my cars to him exclusively ever since.Quick Tune & Lube is always professional, honest and does a SOLID job on my cars every time.They ve been a huge blessing in my life and I recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their car.

Visit #1 - Front and rear brakes replacement for a 2012 Dodge ChargerThey replaced the brakes within a few hours and I was back on the road with perfect, snappy brakes just in time for the rainy season.#Visit #2 - Coolant leak in 2012 Dodge ChargerAll of a sudden, coolant began to leak from the car and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. They did a diagnostic, figured out the exact location of the leak, ordered the part needed and did a great job replacing the part that had gone bad.Visit #3 - Oil leak in 2007 Nissan PathfinderI thought I had an engine leak but they found it was a gasket that needed to be replaced. Brought the car in the morning and the repair was done by the end of the day.I'm a woman that's used to getting screwed over by mechanics on price and unnecessary repairs. Calling a mechanic is something I've grown to dread because I know it's going to be costly and may not fix the problem. The only way around it I've found is to have a man that knows cars call on my behalf and they always get a better price or advised of different information from what I was given.I haven't had that experience at all with this place. They have honest pricing, the staff are hard working men that do quality work and Sean explains what they're doing and why so Im educated enough to make an informed decision.I'm glad I found this place. For the first time, I can now say I feel comfortable calling a mechanic because they've proven to be trustworthy and fair.Services: Brakes, Oil change

This place is a ripoff. I took my car in a running condition and they took parts from my car and placed it in another 2013 VW to diagnostic the problem on that car, forgot to put my parts back in my car and messed up my car. Also repairs the engine of my car and weren t able to start the car. Both cars have been sitting in his parking for 2 years. I already contacted state bar and filed a lawsuit against the owner Shaffie, don t fall for his attitude his is a Lier and crooked. He is a biggest fraud. Also parts were stolen from another car of mi e while car was there to be repaired and he charged me for it. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLEASE

Sean was very professional, polite- and fair priced based on the services I received. Called in with a last minute emergency- he booked me immediately & my car was ready to go by noon. Car running as it should. Will update should anything happen otherwise. Great little shop, with a Mom & Pop feel. A corporate competitor lost my business due to their over pricing and incompetence. It is a small car service shop where they can provide any type of car servicing and the prices are reasonable too.They can fix almost all types of car problems or servicing. The owner is honest and charges you for what is needed to be serviced only, unlike all other servicing shops that upsell other services which you may not even need to be serviced for. Sean and staff are hard working and honest people.

UNPROFESSIONAL !!UNRELIABLE !!!UNTRUSTED!!QUICK TUNE & BRAKE.My Dodge caravan had a check engine light on it wasn t pass a smog test a friend of mine Recommended me this place so I came here the owner of this shop check my car and give me estimate of $1200 I said ok but I told him please give me a favor fix it asap this is my only car which I use for a daily life I rented a car , he said it will take one week after a week I called he wanted some more time I called again and again finally after one month I went to the shop to ask the status of car I asked about that guy I think his name was shafi who initially checked my car , another mechanic who was managing this shop on his absence told me that he s on vacation I don t know about your car he called him and asked him about my car s status after the phone call this guy told me that he s coming back on Wednesday he will work on your car and finish it after one week, I told this guy can you check that he already started working on it or not ? When we went to check it in the back parking yard ohhhh my God !!! He didn t even open the Hood , a inch of dust was on the car I told this guy please give me my car s key I don t trust his words anywhere I jumped started the car and After one long month I took my unfixed car from this extremely unprofessional mechanic shop this was my unforgettable And Horrible experience.Don t trust this mechanic shop .Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

This shop will only fix what s not broken. Almost had to replace my engine because of a service that they performed incorrectly And which should ve had been a simple service. they don t take ownership for any mistakes or more of lack of knowledge they make. They over charge and put in the cheapest parts and will think they are doing you a favor. Be advised and run away unless you want endless problems and drama.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I have been going here almost 10 years... but felt compelled to write after the great job Sean did on my CRV this time. Another place had looked at it, and used the words "give up on it" because it had a vacuum leak. (Turns out it had multiple small issues, some because my husband tried to fix it first). Sean gave me a reasonable time frame (I had to leave it with him - he's busy and I understand first come, first serve), and had it back to me as promised, for a fair price. I didn't have to buy a new-to-me car (yippee) and I know I can bring it back to him to keep it running in tip-top shape. I highly recommend him.

My brake light went out and they let me drop in, fixed the issue with 30-minutes (even though they were busy), and the price was excellent. I watched them provide the same customer service and quality of care to every person who came in while I was waiting. This is now my go-to repair shop.

I been going there for 10 years now. All the mechanics are very professional and the prices are way too reasonable. The owner has a good team and he runs quite a tight ship. All the best to these guys. Will continue use them.

I came here to get my breaks and light checked and I also needed to get it smogged. The battery in the car I purchased was just replaced so I guess I had to drive it for a certain amount of miles steady with mph traffic being horrible I kept thinking/hoping the whatever reset but traffic being drop and go it was nearly impossible. I kept prematurely coming back saying to smog it being that annoying customer. And I don't know if he was the owner or manager I don't even know his name. But she was super nice. Great smile. No matter how many times I came in to early he was always super nice and willing to help me on spot. 5 months later someone crashes into my car. And he the owner/manager was able to find and print me out a copy of my receipt so I could use it for reimbursement purpose. He his deffinelty professional and 100% helpful. Will be my go to mechanic in Hayward.

My master cylinder went out and I needed front brakes.their price was very reasonable. I had to take it back something went wrong with the brakes.They were very courteous and offered to have me leave the car that night, I brought it back the next day in the middle of the day and it was ready by the evening.So far Im very happy.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Not that Sean and the business needs to hear from another satisfied customer, herein a nother satisfied customer has no choice but to rave about Quick Tune & Brake (QT&B). This place is run by ethical people, who use business ethical standards that all of us can trust When QT&B gives a customer a quote, it is reasoned and trustworthy. While they do not hold your vehicle forever, they are liberal in holding it during the time the custoner needs to decide what to do with a offered solution and a quote for the work. Shop the issue with other like businesses and then when you discover that theirs is the most competative, just let them have the job. They also guarantee their work, so take that to your bankbook like I have now many times.

Service wasn't that great. I tried to have a conversation with the guy and he just ignored me. I didn't like the way I got charged. Then he tells me that I didn't replace the brake pads (which I di) and only noticed the rotors been replaced.
