The front desk person was nice. But the mechanic does not communicate with customers he actually didn't speak any english at all. I bought new tires to replace my two front tires because the tread was showing. Instead, they put the new tires in the back. Once I complained about it, some other mechanic told me that replacing the back tires is more important than the front. Which is not true, especially when your front tires are so much worse than the back and the tread are showing.

They charge more for Uber inspection in here. Other places charge $20 and if you want to pay $30 they come to your location to do inspection. But Midas is charging $40 plus the wait time!

Never trust their phone appointment confirmation. Had me drove all the way and once at the store, no oil change. Excuse was that they couldn t hear gme on the phone while on the phone call everything went smooth. These guys aren t serious about the business at all. No customer service. Extremely bad experience. I don t recommend it to anyone. Also please no apology replies here from the owner, that strategy has failed big time. This is a no go zone for me.Service: Oil change

My car completely stopped working and I had to get towed to the location and showed up unannounced when they were extremely busy on a holiday weekend. They were kind enough to check out what might have gone wrong and ultimately squeezed me in and had me back up and running in under an hour. They even came in at a price way lower than expected. The staff there seems to work very efficiently and fairly and I would certainly visit again!

I highly recommend to all my friends and family!! I had great experience with the owner, Jason. I came from bad customer service from another car place and he made up for it tenfold!! He was friendly, more than fair with prices, and answered all my questions to put me at ease. I highly recommend this place!! It was great to find East Bay Midas since leaving my Midas in Ohio!! Thanks again!!

Best car service center I ve ever visited. The manager is exceedingly friendly and helpful, just the nicest person. The oil changes and tire fixes I ve gotten were fast and professional.Couldn t recommend highly enough.

I have been here 2 times before for an oil change and they finish in a decent amount of time but always try to upsell you with different car issues. I scheduled an appointment for my next oil change two weeks ago, got a confirmation email of our appointment the day of the appointment and when I showed up to the Midas, it was closed and locked and there was no one in sight. Such a ridiculous situation. I had an appointment at 4pm and no one was there. Now I gotta find a new place to get an oil change.

I recently moved back to Hayward and needed a place I could trust to not overcharge and this Midas location has been great! Unfortunately I have had to get a few things done over the last few months and each time the employees and the owner have been very helpful and professional.I've seen the comments from a previous customer so I want to be clear that I am not a Midas employee nor do I have any affiliation other than a customer...everyone has their own experience, his was negative, my several visits have been positive.This same owner "Jason" went out of his way to help me find a part I needed online and has literally saved me hundreds of dollars since I now do not have to go through the dealership...he did not need to take that time with me but did....so thank you!

This place is a pretty cool spot. I came from Colorado and was looking for a new Midas for my vehicle. I got an oil and filter change from them. It was pretty quick and the staff is very friendly. So far I think this is where I'm always gonna take my car for any problems.

Thanks to the Midas Machine Shop and its group of professional mechanics and Valeria Receptionist for great friendly customer service.thanks for the great work you did on my car changing the transmission oil soon as my car started i felt the great change that it caused in my vehicle but it was not so much the change but your dedicated workI am satisfied with your great effort .

Unbelievable service! My mom's BMW shut down while driving in Hayward, and she didn't know what to do. I was out of town, looked on Maps to find this Midas store for her to get it towed to. I figured it might be safer for her to go with a franchise than an independent shop. It was the best decision. After I spoke with the manager, I knew my mother was in good hands and I was no longer worried about her. They took a lot of extra time to diagnose the problem. Turns out it was too big of a repair job, but then they helped find a towing company that would take the car back home to SF. It was a tough day for my mom, but she was so happy and impressed with the service, she told me she will drive all the way from SF to Hayward to get her car maintenance done in the future.

We moved to Hayward in June '15 and needles place to get an oil change. This is down the street from our house so we decided to give it a shot. Wasn't expecting much but the people who work there were friendly and didn't try to pressure us into any unnecessary repairs or purchases.In fact, they did some extra little things for no extra cost!In addition to this, they always have coupons available on their website and I've used one each time I've taken a vehicle there (we own 3).

Getting the oil change last Friday which was past due I was told by Jason that it sounded that my brakes needed to be serviced so I brought it in on Monday and Curtis was very helpful to get them inspected and very quickly get the rear brake pads replaced.

I come all the way from San Jose area to This Midas specifically! Why? Because all other Midas I have been to have been scammers, and rude! The other Midas are way too high priced and don t want to help you save money. This location is AMAZING and so trustworthy. Very friendly staff, good deals spmetimes and the owner and staff are very educated about the full functions of cars. I would recommend this location as the best Midas store in the Bay Area that I have been to :)

Had an issue starting my Jeep. Had been intermittent for a while, took it up to Midas and they got my Jeep back cranking. Even threw in some extras!

By far, best mechanic ever. I visited this place for pre inspection. And Gustav was very friendly and knowlegable, explained everything. Hell he even joined my test driving. And the price was beyond reasonable. I will recommend to all my friend to visit this place. Can't expect better than their service.

As always Midas Hayward doing a nice job on my Ford Taurus oil changing recently with no leaking or broken parts and fair price, which made me often come here for my car repair or oil change. It's really a good place to my car into their hands.

I ve received service from Midas for years but these past couple of years I ve notice a change in how they do business. For example, when Midas do a diagnostic the price of repair is normally waived once you receive service there, Nope not my last two visits. I Went in to get brakes and Roters done recently and was greatly overcharged. At this point I m being taken advantage of, I will not be back.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

I called for ask questions and this guy said "hurry up and speak up you are wasting my time right now" what kind of service is this? Terrible terrible. who would want to go here????

Booked a appointment to full synthetic oil change, my son took van, first conventional oil change was done, This is the great part, I called back next morning to inquire about type of oil used, Curtis help me since beginning of conversation Curtis was professional, friendly and he was listening, I thank Curtis for his Great Costumer Service Skills and taken care of me.Yes I will go back.

Took my wife's Tahoe for suspension work. Found four days later that steering parts were loose, new parts not lubed, and tire pressure sensors not programmed. I took it back to the shop and they took care of the issues without a " sorry for this" or anything. I'm glad I looked at things before my wife and children got into an accident from improper installation of steering components. If you get work done at this place, make sure that you double check EVERYTHING!!

Their service is very fast. My wok is done within a day. The only downside is they don t have a key drop off box.
