The team at legacy transmissions is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They did a great job with diagnosis and were extremely accommodating with scheduling. They expertly diagnosed a very niche issue with my 1988 Land Cruiser and had it quickly repaired. Highly recommend these folks.

I had my daughter's car looked at a couple of times at Legacy Transmissions and Salim evaluated her car twice within a year until her transmission required to be replaced. The procedure was very smooth, I gave a deposit and then a transmission was prepared and we picked up the car two days later. As everyone knows transmissions seem to be the most complicated part to fix in any vehicle. All I can say is if you have any concerns about your transmission, do not hesitate to take your vehicle to Legacy and ask for Salim who will be honest with the condition of your vehicle,

As a young woman every mechanic I've seen has racketed up their prices upon seeing me. Selim and the other mechanics gave me a really fair price and really seemed to care about helping me and not about exploiting for money. A very good place to take your vehicle with transmission problems. Have been taking our company vehicles there for years now.The owner knows transmissions and how to fix them properly. He provides services to many large transportation/delivery companies in the East Bay and for good reason. He's very honest, trustworthy and will do the job right the first time. A honest man running an honest repair shop. Need I say more?

I had issue with my car for few years. I took my car Mercedes Benz E350 2006 for transmission rebuild to this shop. Legacy Transmission had rebuild and re-programmed the transmission and now I don't have any issues with the transmission. The main tech Saleem is very knowledgeable not only with German cars but all different model of cars. He is very helpful and friendly. Easily approachable. He has been working on transmissions for so many years. I am very pleased with the service. Going forward, I am taking my car for transmission service such as oil replacement etc to this shop and highly recommend.

I am very thankful to Legacy Transmission & Mr. Salim for being the best at what he does with most honest advise. He did fixed my Honda Accord's Transmission 6 years ago or so and it's still runs perfect. Thank you so much Salim !If you are looking for expert and honest transmission repair place , this is it.So much appreciation and gratitude.

I can t thank this place enough, it saved my car. They gave me a quote, honored their quote and my car ran as it was brand new. Legacy transmission is a five-star shop. I had my transmission repaired there and the owner Salim went above and beyond to make sure my transmission was perfect. The price for repair from Legacy transmission was hundreds of dollars cheaper than any place else I call for estimates.
