I had a great experience, I called them day of and they happened to have their 1-year-warranty battery in stock. I went in and was in and out in about 90 minutes. Alejandro was helpful figuring out my options, and helpful in their little lobby (w/ Wifi).

My original 2015 Camry SE hybrid battery lasted 145K so kudos to Toyota's reliability and quality. My car was driveable on gas power for a few days, but I could feel the engine was working overtime without the hybrid battery's help.I took it in to Toyota's service and they quoted me just shy of $5K for an OEM battery. I found Greentec online and the reviews were good so I decided to give them a shot. The car was serviced today by KC (great guy, efficient, knows what he's doing) and I was in and out in 1.5 hours. I can already tell the difference with having a new battery. Plus, a new one (not refurbished, though it's available for a cheaper price) cost 45% less than the dealer's quote so I'm pretty happy. I'll recommend this shop to friends and family should they ever need a hybrid replacement.

Great company to keep an Older Prius running. I decided to invest in a new cell battery pack after having issues with previous installer unsuccessfully replacing Hybrid pack 5 times and 1 time replacing inverter motor in a span of 2 years on my 2005 Gen 2 Prius.I have researched other places, other technologies finding Green Tech the best Option and most convenient.Day 1: March 6, 2023, Purchased The Hybrid Battery Pack with Brand New Cells & 48 Months Warranty a day before, Same day I placed order, I received a voice-call from KC. Scheduling was a breeze, asked for following day window.Day 2: March 7,2023 I drove down with the old battery (core) and swapped it 1.5 hour. KC, the Tech, was very helpful and knowledgeable. It was a real pleasure working with.Here is the kicker: For the *First time since brand new* I was able to average 50 mpg (15 miles) until I hit traffic. The best is that I was able to drive in stop and go traffic for solid 15 minutes in electric mode only before the gasoline engine kicked in. For me Green Tech is Solid 5+ stars! Keep the good work.*5 Months Review* So far been good. Purchased a 48 Months Warranty Hybrid Pack.Day 150: Car still runs well, not getting the 50 mpg, solid 43mpg solid. However, this may be due to Engine aging to 1/4 Million miles yes (250,000 miles same Engine-Transmission). So far so good, no engine codes car running smooth.Jose G

Quick, professional, on time, courteous! My prius 2014 prius with 265k miles is running like brand new again. No rough starts or idles. Bring your prius here and you will not regret it. 10 stars!

Greentec Hybrid Batteries were a saving grace to me! My 2006 Toyota Prius hybrid battery went at 150K miles and the dealer told me to take it home and park it. Enter Greentec, and in 24 hours I drove out the door of their Hayward location with a new hybrid battery with all new cells, a 4 year warranty (no mileage limit), and half the price of the dealer's price to replace it. Casey their mechanic in Hayward was the best! Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and so helpful confirming an appointment time with my concern driving a car with a weak battery across the SM Bridge. But I made it, and he had the battery installed and the car test driven in 1 1/2 hours while I waited in a comfortable waiting room. My car is driving with the zip of a new one!Hybrid car owners who need a new battery: don't think twice, and don't look elsewhere, Greentec is the answer!

Nice place to get battery changed. I got my Prius (2009)batter changed and total bill was very less compared to other place . The service was really good .

Great company to keep the older Prius running. Called ahead, explained my needs, they explained their different options for my Gen1 Prius. Drove down with the old battery (core) and swapped it in less than 1 hour. Casey, the Tech, was very helpful and knowledgeable. It was a real pleasure working with this firm. Solid 5 stars!

I had bought one of those reconditioned hybrid batteries for my 2007 Prius by a company called Dorman, and they were going bad left and right. People have stopped selling them. Stay away from Doramns!'Greentec make their own batteries and the one I got is backed up by a four year warranty. Alex the mechanic there at Hayward smiled and took great care of my Prius, as if it was his own car. I look forward to visiting as little as possible, expecting things to run smoothly. But if I do have any problems I would not hesitate to come back.

Took my son's Prius to the Hayward location to have the hybrid battery replaced. KC the tech ran his diagnostics and said the P0A80 error code does not necessarily mean a dead battery. I my case it was a defective gas gauge and the Prius had run out of gas and depleted the hybrid batteries.Remember the name KC, have him check your hybrid car first!!!

Greentec Auto deserves the highest recommendation. Using Greentec Auto in Hayward saved us almost 50% off of what the dealer, Marin Honda, quoted to replace the IMA battery in our first generation 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid. Greentec Auto also gave us the same warranty on a replacement IMA battery as offered by Marin Honda (36 months for the option we chose). Marin Honda quoted $3,500.00 to replace the IMA battery plus $156.00 for a diagnostic exam to confirm the IMA battery needed to be replaced and to discover if any other problems also were present. Greentec Auto offers the diagnostic exam for free, charged us only $1,695.00 for the IMA replacement battery plus $150.00 for labor for a total of $1,845.00 when we would have had to pay Marin Honda at least $3,656.00 for the same job (I never asked if Marin Honda would have charged extra for labor). Wow, what a huge savings! We chose Greentec Auto s best and most expensive IMA battery replacement option with the longest warranty out of three options available for our car brand, model and year. Check Greentec Auto s website for options, warranty info and prices for your car s brand, model and year. Best of all, the car is running great since Chris at Greentec Auto in Hayward replaced the IMA battery. My husband and I were hesitant to try Greentec Auto as we never had heard of the company until we needed a replacement IMA battery. I read several online reviews regarding Greentec Auto which built my confidence in the company. I also spoke to Cindy, the appointment setter at Greentec Auto, who patiently answered all of my questions over four phone calls before we decided to use Greentec Auto. Marin Honda confirmed Honda dealers also use refurbished IMA batteries with new cells as replacements which is what Greentec Auto put into our car. After checking the Kelley Blue Book s online valuation info, we discovered our 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid (with a working IMA battery) would be worth only about $1,000.00 at trade in and just $3,000.00 if sold to a private party. After considering our car s resale value, we explained to Cindy and Chris at Greentec Auto that if the free diagnostic exam indicated more problems needing repair in addition to replacement of the IMA battery, we would choose to give the car a funeral. Cindy and Chris were very understanding. Chris called us twice during the diagnostic exam to report on the findings. Chris also let us know we might end up needing to replace the small battery as well which we would consider an acceptable expense if necessary in the future. We are delighted Greentec Auto has made it possible for us to get at least another three years of use out of our old car (the option we purchased comes with a warranty for 36 months). Considering our car s resale value, it would not have made sense for us to pay the prices quoted by Marin Honda. We might keep this old car for only another year, but now we have the freedom to take our time choosing a replacement vehicle thanks to Greentec Auto. Thank you, Cindy and Chris! Keep up the great work! Congratulations and thank you, also to the founders of Greentec Auto for recognizing a need in the marketplace and creating a fabulous business to fill the need while offering consumers enormous savings off of dealers prices!
