Thank you Daniel for taking care of my vehicle! I took my 535i to various mechanics but none could point out my electrical issue. Daniel is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The shop has good vibes and gives you all the information so you can make the most informed decision. Highly highly recommend this shop as it is the only shop I will bring my Euros to!

I brought my Mercedes E300 to Daniel for the 60k mile service for the first time in October of 2023. I am very impressed by his experience in the automotive service industry working for Mercedes Benz and then Tesla. Daniel is honest and charges less than the dealerships. He has earned a customer in me as long as I have a car that can be serviced by him and I am referring him to all of my friends! First time taking to German Car Service in Hayward. Daniel (Owner/Service Manager) and his mechanical team did a fabulous job servicing my GL450 and on time. Maintenance initially for 80K mile service but was called needing brake job as well. Impressed with their timeliness, customer service, and reasonable price! Although I live in Fremont, I will be back to have my SLK300 serviced there as well!

Been going here for almost 5 years now and two AMGs later. Daniel has been the more efficient, courteous, and accommodating than the dealership and at fraction of the price. I wouldn t take my babies anywhere else!

Thank you to Daniel and German Car Service, this is the one and only place I would take my G63! I bought my dream car about a year ago and immediately brought it to Daniel who had the expertise and experience to review and analyze the car. He actually commented that as a kid he rode around in an old G wagon himself, lot a history there. Since I got the car he has been able to do a regular service, replace batteries, fix all the leaks in the engine and replace the brake pads. Not only has he repaired my car, but he helped it to look better too, by installing wheel spacers and cleaning out the engine. Finally Daniel bent over backward to help me in a pinch when my battery died! I brought in my Audi A5 to fix an oil leak that has been going on for months and I was amazed by Daniel and his team! Daniel is extremely knowledgeable about German cars and did a great job of showing me exactly what was causing the problem. Within a few days Daniel was able to fix my car. He was professional, friendly and communicated very well with me for any updates. He even cleaned the interior and exterior of my car. Overall, a great experience with fair pricing. I ll be bringing my car here from now on for any repairs. Highly recommend this shop if you own a German car!

Daniel the owner has been a fantastic master mechanic from Mercedes opening his own business. The turnaround time and knowledge is second to none. Pricing for repairs far less expensive than major Mercedes dealer. I'm super happy to have found this auto repair service. Daniel is a true professional and they have repaired my 2013 BMW 328i and a very fair cost. I compared the repair cost with other mechanics in the area and their cost is the cheapest I have found. I needed to replace my coolant tank and flush the coolant fluid. I also had to repair the thermostat and water pump! Almost at 100K miles so this is minor since it's the first repairs I've had to do in the last 6 years. This is my new repair shop!! I went to German Car Services CA in February of 2023, Daniel told me it would take him about two weeks to get my car fixed, I had to wait about 60 days to 70 days for my car. I appreciate having a warranty though. When I talk to Daniel on the phone he let me know I can come get my car, when I turn my car on my check engine light came on. I took my Panamera in to fix the water pump, a simple repair, and the owner Daniel Castillo, totaled the car while driving to the store to get a drink, injuring another driver. He then posed as me, exchanging my insurance information with the other driver. He was entering traffic and damaged the front end and is not cooperating with insurance companies. If you are entering traffic and get into an accident it is probably your fault, and if you have front end damage, it is probably your fault. He is a crook and fraud. Who knows what other scams he is engaged in. If you value your car, take it somewhere else. If you have to use this guy, remove your insurance identification information from the car and ensure you have comprehensive coverage.Service: Engine repair

Brought my Audi RS5 to get front break pads done. Daniel has horrible communication. Quoted me 180 for front and rear and ended up charging me 360. Overall my car came out with a bur-mark and scratch on hood and his shop refused to make it right. Who tells their customers we need the money more than him, never experienced this and I couldn t recommend this trash place and the fake reviews. Daniel is an unprofessional person that talks rude to his customers and doesn t recall using foul language, don t let the first impression fool you the guy is total trash, wouldn t surprise me if he responded to this to try and make himself look good.Service: Brake service & repair

WOW what a great experience. First time going here. They were so professional and friendly and the shop was super clean. Being a female walking into a car shop can be uncomfortable. Everyone there was so friendly and knowledgeable. My car has never run better I was a little nervous taking my Porsche there so happy I did. German Car Service is amazing! This is the kind of place you want to go to if you are looking for honest and knowledgeable service at a fair price. Daniel took the time to make sure that he got everything done properly on my vehicle while keeping me updated on progress along the way. As an added bonus my car was cleaned inside and outside when I went to pick it up. Daniel also called me to follow up on my service a week later! The dealer never did that. Great work and thank you!

Highly recommend!! Called and was able to get an appointment same day for my oil change. Definitely will be back for any services needed. Very friendly staff comfortable wait room and great spots within walking distance for a meal or coffee. 10/10.

This place is amazing. I took my 96 sl320 in to get the hardtop fixed. Daniel took care of it immediately, and had it all done by the next day. He told me exactly what he did and the price was reasonable for a Mercedes. Some people on here complained about the prices, but thats the price of owning a German car. Parts and maintenance will always be expensive for these types of cars, its just the way they re built.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I can't begin to say enough good things about them. This place has excellent customer service right from the start. Very polite and welcoming and Daniel explained everything from the get. It's hard to find an honest place, but they fixed my BMW within the hour and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. This is my new go-to mechanic shop and I will recommend them to anyone hands down!

Daniel is by far a very honest and reliable mechanic. We started taking our car to him when he was working out of his home. And now he finally has his own business. You would think he would be too busy to answer a call or a text when you need something but honestly even with him having his own business he still always makes time for you and very prompt on getting back to us to answer every question I have. Daniel is hands down the man to take your car too when you need something done. Yes not only is he reliable and honest but he s also very affordable. Thank you Daniel for always taking care of our cars.

I have to honestly say I am so glad i found Daniel he is amazing. Great communication, price is fair and most importantly does an amazing job. Took my 2004 Mercedes E55 AMG because it had a electrical issue, took it to two other shops and they where not able to figure it out. Daniel had it for just a few hours and was able to figure it out, found that the central gateway was the cause of the draw. Thank you again for everything daniel, i would definitely recommend people to come here and I will be returning again for anything else I need done to my vehicle.

This place is amazing. Very knowledge about vehicles in general, but the best place to bring your European car. I had all sorts of problems with my 2 European cars and Daniel (owner) took care of everything on time and very cost effective. I will be a continued customer.

went to get an oil change and told me it coudnt be don t because they didn t want to be liable for any oil leaks . then when i was On my way home and through out the day my car was making a weird noise when i checked the engine bay they had left the oil cap open allowing dust and dirt to get in my engine . terrible service would not recommend one bitService: Oil change
