Worst shop experience multiple issues no communication from the beginning. Missed things that i noted when i had walk around with shop. After missing to inspect car properly it became late delivery of vehicle. When i received vehicle the paint was terrible and damaged from reassembly worst paint I've ever seen. So i brought back for a second attempt for them to make it right when they told me to pick up my car wasn't ready and paint was bad again in multiple spots so i had to pick up next day. Now my car is in a different shop to correct there terrible paint and possible more damage to my car. This shop is not good for a quality repair everything is bad.

Our vehicle was broken into and Car Star was our go to car repair shop; however it has changes ownership and the quality of service is not there. CarStar is out sourcing their repairs instead of doing it themselves. This causes fingers pointed when the job is not done properly. Our window was replaced but it did not work properly when we went to pick up the vehicle and the trim was missing. The parts were ordered and we are still waiting for them to complete the job. The parts have not come in and the job is still not done. It has been over a month and a half! The car alarm and pairing was also done out of the shop and they did not pair my 2 remotes they just did one! Why is the job not done completely? Car star should double check the work they are paying others to do as they are dealing and showing face to the customer. We paid our deductible $500 to them and the insurance paid them approximately $5,000; however, we still have not gotten our repairs completed after the car was picked up and those were pointed out to the shop. We are getting the run around as they stated the parts were ordered but have not come in. There is no accountability and pride for the job they are doing for the customer. Our vehicle was broken into and honestly we feel re-victimized by the lack of quality and customer service Car Star provided. To say the least we will not be taking our cars there anymore.

After a year of getting my car fixed here, I decided to share my experience. I had to return my vehicle twice or more, since they stated my car was fixed. I took my car to a mechanic in which they stated that this shop did nothing but try to conceal the axel damage, etc. The shop charged my insurance a lot which made no sense, obviously for an insurance scam. My car was making noises from the damage, in addition to this- paint started peeling and shows a completely different color underneath(red). I would not recommend this shop.

They were very informative in the process of my repair. Excellent quality. I would use them again. They went above and beyond cleaning and washing my truck. Would recommend them to anyone.

The final result of the car was beautiful. We had to wait an extra week and for whatever reason we weren't updated. But everything else went smoothly.

They did a great job repairing my car from a car accident. They were so pleasant to work with and good with updating me about my car. I really appreciate how professional and honest they were. I would highly recommend them. Come to find out when my niece took me to pick up my car, she and her boyfriend also had service provided by CARSTAR in the pass and they also said that it s a good company and the people that work there do a good job.

Customer service is fine but the skill level is below expectation. They called saying my car would be ready for pick up the next day. I cleared some time to pick up, then they called saying it was delayed. I was called the next day saying it was ready. I told them I no longer had the time for that day and they proceeded to tell me that they had to call the rental car agency saying that I refused to pick up that day and to start charging me the normal rate.i called them back saying I could pick it up during my lunch break. After returning the rental car I arrived and my car was missing pieces and blocked in the parking lot. The techs said that the piece was not there when I dropped it off and they did not want to install it. I showed them pictures of it on the car and they grabbed the old piece from the trash and tried to give it back. I would avoid this place if you really care about your vehicle and only use this place if you don't mind mediocre work.Service: Painting

CARSTAR offered a seamless experience repairing my car and working with my insurance provider to close out the claim. The shop uses a digital portal to keep the customers informed on the status of the repair. I personally worked with Bernadette and she was super helpful at all times. Had a vehicular accident and had the car towed to their location. It was too early in the morning but they opened the shop to accommodate me.The staff made sure that everything was in order, including the car rental.Provided me with updates and they were very creative in ordering some parts so the car does not stay in shop for long.The entire staff was very professional and accommodating. I got hail damage in southern California in October. It could not have been a weirder weather event. My windshield was cracked and my hood dented. Eva and Bernadette were fantastic in helping me with the repairs. I highly recommend this place because they are very knowledgeable, kind and their team works fast. Took my car in after being scraped by another vehicle. The inspection was very fast! They also had a lot of availability time so I didn t have to wait long to schedule an appointment for my vehicle. My vehicle was ready to picked up after a few days, super fast and efficient. My front bumper looks just as new! I couldn t even tell. Thank you for the great work!P.S. They replaced my car s front bumper and wiper fluid tank, cleaned and polished my car. They did a very good job. Bernadette and Eva are very nice, good and professional in doing their job. Very pleased with the service. Not only complete the repair the same day, my car looks like new one when I go pick up, both inside and outside. Special thanks to Bernadette for making this a very positive experience and the nice technician who gave me a ride home. Definitely recommend!

My insurance company recommended Carstar Hayward. I brought my car here to get the driver side door lock repaired. There was a minor hiccup, but they addressed my concerns. They are easy to work with, have great customer service and the quality of work is excellent. Highly recommend.
