I was recommended to Cal Bay by a friend. It is almost impossible to find a good honest mechanic that doesn't overcharge and suggest repairs that are not needed. That is not the case at Cal Bay Auto. Carlos is as honest as the day is long. You can can expect to get a honest quote and know your car is in good hands. He is reasonable and will not clean out your wallet. His repair work is top notch!!

My polestar 2 left rear window got broken into in Oakland (lesson: park only in secure paid locations). I called around and only cal bay auto glass had the available part. Chris was very helpful and transparent in the pricing. I would highly recommend for folks living in hayward area.

These guys are Fantastic! They scheduled me same day, got the work done at my house, and went far beyond the scope of work they needed to do. I couldn't believe how well of a job Ed did. I called at 6am Friday morning. My car window got broken into on Thursday night in Oakland. I called and they fit me in immediately. The quote was $190 for the passenger rear window for my Honda HRV.I dropped my car off at 9am and got it back at 1pm.No issues and great service.

NO NEED TO SHOP AROUND after you read this. My daughter's car was broken into Friday night; the small vent window was smashed. My deductible for glass was higher than I thought so I was paying out of pocket. I found Cal Bay Auto Glass using Google search after the "national" company proved to be horribly expensive and not able to fix the glass for over a week.By comparison, Cal Bay Auto was able to get the car in immediately, and it was ready in <90 minutes. Chris was responsive and pricing was HALF the "national" company I highly recommend using Cal Bay Auto Glass and will absolutely make them my ONLY stop for glass needs. Small businesses are the best.

I believe in there's room for improvement however I got a great deal on getting windshield replace price and time was clearly communicated. And got it done next day. Next time I would pick mobile service so I can enjoy comfort of my house or a restaurant because it does take 2hr to complete the job.

The chip repair failed within days. Now I need a new windshield. They offered nothing when we called to tell them what happened. Oh! and that lifetime warranty they advertise doesn't cover chip repairs!!! BEWARE POOR CRAFTSMANSHIP!!!

I called about an hour before they closed, they said if i can get there by 430pm they'll take me in, got a windshield installed on my 07 Acura TL. Great friendly service at a great price would recommend it to anyone looking for auto glass.

My son's car was broken into and front window driver's side shatteredHe made an appoint for his day off. They never showed up or called and never returned his calls trying to find out what happened. Totally unprofessional and inexcusable!!

Words can t describe the level of service here. Not only are they caring for their customers, but they go above and beyond exemplary service. If I ever need windows replaced, this is where I m going. Amazing!

They repaired my company vehicle the same day and it is important when you need to be constantly on the road. In case of any damage occurs to my other vehicles I will come here first.

Don't ever call this place. They don't show up. They say this place is 5 stars but it's a lie. It was one of the workers who posted the good rating. The guy who works there Kris literally doesn't even TRY to help you.
