Last week I had to go to Auto Zone a few times for my SUV. My headlights blew out twice. I had someone there install them. Next day no lights. (Not his fault ) So I went back and the Mgr. Jennifer helped me. She replaced the lights herself. Girl Power!!!Great service.Patient with customers.Clean store.

Just wanted to give a shout out the Cesar and James that work in this location. I went in to buy a starter for my car and they tested the battery, alternator and starter to make sure what it was. Comes to to be a bad battery. Helped me out after the store closed too. Great people!

Overall experience was okay. 2 things that bother me a little though. I went to pick up my order and there as something marked "In stock" when I ordered it but was unavaliable. I suppose thats not completely on them, so I won't fault it on the store completely. Other thing was that they gave me a wrong item, but it was close enough to the one I ordered. Not huge problem. Other than that, decent experience overall. Picking up was quick and easy, attendents were helpful and nice.EDIT: This is a edit from the day after purchasing and writing the review. I had to bump it from 4/5 to 2/5. received a call about them not having one of my products and if I wanted a refund. So in my mind, I was only missing one thing. Thankfully I got a refund for that one item. However, it turns out I was completely missing another thing. Ofc, its partly my fault for not noticing until the day after. However, I'm still imparting blame on the store for not noticing either because I still paid for the item and I was under the impression they would've known if they're already calling about one thing being missing. So in short, they've given me a wrong item and failed to give me one of my items completely.

Worse experience there ever! Workers have no self control, they are to busy arguing with each other and yelling that they can't even bother on helping the customer. Clearly the supervisor lost control of his staff because he was there staying quiet as he gets yelled at by his own staff.

The store is clean the staff members are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. It has a big variety to choose from. It even have cool hats and t-shirts. The parking lot is big.

The employees " not all of them'' where very impolite, and actually quite rude at a certain point... Than when asked about something, the answer was " it's on isle number 2, if not we don't have it" Very arrogant , in stead of helping the costumes who some times don't know exactly what the part look like , they replied with sarcasm... And I witnessed this a bunch of times because of my job I have to go to the closest one... Definitely not a good place.. I recommend looking for another store near by...

I got the best servise, staff very friendly and helpful. One of the female register even took the time to come to the parking lot to check my battery. I recommend this auto parts.

Waste of time! I placed an order online for curbside pick up. I received a confirmation email for my order saying it has been fulfilled and it is ready for pick up. When I arrived at the store they told me that my order was not completed and that they needed to order an item from another Autozone. The issue here is that they did not contact me to tell me this.I originally tried to order from Union City and after placing that order, I was sent a follow up cancellation email telling me that my order could not be fulfilled due to not having the items. I m still not sure why this Hayward location sent me an email saying my items are ready for pick up.Essentially, I d suggest NOT ordering from this location, but if you do, it seems like it s the customers responsibility to verify that the order is actually fulfilled.Update:The store associate that I spoke with on the phone yesterday said my order would be fulfilled by the following day at noon, and that they would call me to let me know that my order is ready. It is 4pm right now. Again I did not receive a phone call from the store. Instead I just received an email cancelling my entire order. Might as well just purchase on Amazon or O'Reillys.

Seem to not have too good of stock, many times I have to go elsewhere. Constant turnover of staff, I guess a sign of the times. Employees complain pay is below fast food level, that's pretty bad when you can make more asking if you want fries with that burger than selling automotive parts

Whatever happened to presentable employees? It makes me nauseous to look at some very painful piercings on them employees.Anyway, they have some new employees and evidently they forgot to train them. I asked for a compression fitting and the employee got lost. Didn't know what it was, showed the hose i needed to join but nothing. Had to drive to that other o store.

So I have been to this store about 5 times for some months now to check my engine light and the employees have always been kind enough to do the checking for me because I don't know how to do it. I have never been denied that service until today. I walked up nicely to the lady with orange blonde hair and asked if someone can check my car. she said that they don't do that anymore and I have to do it myself and I was like I have been coming here for a while and someone has always been able to check it. i could tell that that annoyed her so i was like okay maybe they changed the policy and that's ok. and then i hear her say "I'm not going outside" to the man next to her at the cashier with a bad attitude and was looking at me kinda funny. idk i felt a weird energy from that girl. The only good employee was the man who checked the machine in the computer and printed the results for me. I wont be going there anymore and would rather drive farther to the one in hesperian!

I ordered a part online with my home store set and the order confirmation changed the location.The manager asked me to buy the part again, and rang up a visibly defective part.I do not recommend shopping here unless you are a parts expert and know what a defective part looks like.

Called for a part. They just said we dont have the part you should try oreillys. Didnt even try to order it or find another store. Sheesh they will hire anyone from mcdonalds i guess.

Found Valvoline modern engine full synthetic motor oil 5qt for $10 on clearance. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for all your automotive needs.

I've been treated rudely by several of the employees here. Not sure why, maybe they don't like their job. There seems to be a quick turnover of employees here.

Good staff, very knowledgeable and helpful. Plenty of parts some loaner tools. They recycle oil and oil filters. Good location for me, I will shop with them again when I need auto parts and information.

This store has the worst customer service ever! The girl with the orange/ blonde hair is rude and lazy !! And isn t shy to make rude remarks under her breath. Something needs to be done with the workers at the store. DONT GO HERE !!

I needed a T20 Torx bit, and they had a few sets do I picked one. It would have been nice to buy just the one I needed, but if I need another size, I have it now.
