I have had my Toyota since 2020 and have been very pleased with the service that has been provided, from the purchase of the car through continued maintenance of it. However, this past visit fell way below expectations. I brought my vehicle in for a 7:20am appointment to replace 1 tire that had a puncture. It took 4 hours for them to complete the job. When I got home, I realized that they had replaced the wrong tire. I thought they would want me to come in right away so they could correct it, but I had to make another appointment several days later!

My appointment was on time. This was a Thursday. My oil change and tire rotation went seamlessly. I dropped off the car and it was ready in 2 hours. This dealership is great. I wish I could say the same for the corporation. I needed a wiring harness last year with only 35,000 miles on the car however it was past in years. A wiring harness under the hood should never go bad. I believe something happened in assembly. I will no longer buy Toyota's. The dealership contacted Toyota hoping they would refund for the harness but NO. The dealership is great its a shame that the corporation has let them down. The dealership itself does great work. The service writers, mechanics do exceptional work. If anyone has Toyota's I suggest bringing your car here. Earl

Was received with fast service and professional courtesy. Yet took my car back after I left because had another problem has been n there for a week still no respond on when. Get my car back no be seems to know what is going on with my car. The person who was assign to my case was off yesterday and no one wanted to help or look into it asked to talk to drive manager was on phone waiting for 15 minutes then disconnected then call back led my phone number finally talked to someone still no answer. Was told to call back next day to see if the person assign knew anything about car. I feel there should be more communication with others so if you are off the other service rep can help the customer.

Terrible experience. I used the link from the service specials coupon for $68.88 and scheduled my synthetic oil change through the site and after arriving at 11:30 they didn t come to my car until 11:50! Then I told them I needed to go to work by 1:00 because I start at 1:30 and it still wasn t done at nearly 2:00! When I went in bc no one let me know it was done. I waited over two hours. Then the service tech said it was $100 and refused to honor the coupon even though I had showed him the screenshot and everything. Very rude and unprofessional.I drove from concord to Hayward for the coupon and then they refused to honor it and my wait time was 2.5 hours. No communication. No texts. No emails. Nothing.

I am giving 3 stars because my service advisor was efficient in getting my vehicle serviced. However, when I booked the appointment, I was given a specific cost and informed that the service included a tire rotation. When I spoke to the service advisor, the fee for that service was higher than quoted and the tire rotation was not included. I was informed the call center person who booked my appointment gave me the wrong information. The service advisor honored the price quoted, yet it was supposed to be an express service that took 2 hrs. All of this discourages me taking my vehicle there again.

A great service department. The only East Bay Toyota dealer that really still does Express Service "while you wait" oil changes. Make an appointment and you're done in around an hour. I've tried Dublin, Fremont and Walnut Creek and they either make you leave the car . . . or their "Express Service" takes 2 1/2 hours.

The wait was far too long although the service was fine. Besides that, how can my car, that I bring to them on a Toyota Care Plan every 5K miles, suddenly need almost 3K in work, when it didn't the last time I was there? I'm considering going to Victory Toyota in the future.

This is one of the best places for servicing your car. They are knowledgeable and transparent. Whether you opt for a regular or prepaid plan, they provide a detailed report after each service, which is very helpful.I always provide honest reviews for businesses, and without bias, I gave them 4 stars for a reason. I've been using their services since 2022, and with regular maintenance, they offer a complimentary car wash. However, in the 4-5 services I've had, the service center has consistently given the excuse, "Car wash suddenly stopped working; a part was ordered but has not arrived yet." Despite the exceptional services and staff, I would recommend to either remove the complimentary service or provide a more valid excuse.When I changed my tires, I was also asking about detailing, so the advisor actually gave me free car detailing. I was doing a 800$ job that time car wash did work, I guess, although the same morning, I was told the same excuse. So then I understood, basically it depends on the situation. Also I assume, my maitanance is prepaid, I was technically not paying anything, so may be they do not really interested to give me complicmentary service.Personally, the cost is not a big concern, around 15-20 bucks, but maintaining a reputation requires consistency in all aspects. Better to do what you promise or don't mention it.Regardless, I appreciate your services.

I recently took my Tacoma in for its routine scheduled maintenance and was greeted by my friendly Service Advisor Mario. Mario was so helpful and patient when explaining what the service technician had to say about my truck. It turns out that I had a screw in my front left tire, and he was able to offer me a competitive price to have my tire replace & balanced. Great service and super friendly staff.

I will give you only one but you deserve zero because I was there for maintenance service, which it would only cost me $120 oil change and tires rotation, but the advisor said oh your Highlander needs 30000 thousand miles general inspection or check up, He said it will cost you $1000 then I said I don t have this much money, he said again, well you can apply there is a program for loanLong story short, I got approved for that loan program so I signed up for itNow I check the same service only cost $300 to $600I just feel like I got scammed by this advisor Bryant.Please! who ever read this reviews don t get scammed by these advisors my car had no issuesThank you

WORST used car sales service. Do NOT buy a certified or used car from AutoNation Toyota Hayward. Just look at what they did to my vehicle while I left it to be fixed for paint chips after I purchased it!!I bought a 2020 Highlander XLE hybrid and it took a whole month to get a front bumper paint chip fixed and hood aligned, AND it was only done because I continuously called them to schedule an appointment. I live 1 hour away and I had to go 4 times, 4 TIMES! All because they didn t coordinate things properly and because they had told me it was ready when it wasn t. And when I FINALLY took it home, I m dumb and didn t check the whole vehicle, I only checked the area that was to be fixed. Well as soon as I got home I went to open the trunk, and I noticed they had HIT THE SUV!! They hit the trunk and back bumper during the time it was left for service for 4 days. AND the inside was stained, when I was told by Erick it was going to be detailed. This is by far the worst service I ve ever gotten from a dealership. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else because if this is the service I get for a certified vehicle, imagine a used car that doesn t go through a very detailed inspection. Oh and my sales man Omid was no help whatsoever. Erick the sales manager was worse. Respectful when spoken to, but lacks communication and apparently doesn t check to make sure everything is done properly. As he is the one I dealt with the whole time.They also wanted to only give me 1 master key, when the inspection for a certified vehicle states that they need to provide 2 master keys. It took me threatening to call corporate for Erick, the sales manager, to finally call me back and get it done.If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Hopefully nothing else is wrong with my vehicle.

Terrible my car was hit while in the lot and NO ONE took responsibility. As a matter of fact, after speaking with the service manager about the situation, I was promised a call to discuss the event. It NEVER came. I left several messages, and emails and NO RESPONSE!!! I spoke to the general manager and again NOTHING. All I want is compensation for the damage caused to my car while on theLot AND for a manager to contact time. I ve sadly moved on to the BAR . So unprofessional

Don t bother making an appointment. When I arrived at my scheduled time, they said it would be 2 hours. The service advisor said making appointment only gets you in the door, you still have to wait in line. I was later chatting with the guy who arrived just before me and he did not have an appointment. They let him in the door . He waited an hour and a half. I am still waiting for my oil change to be done. It s been 2 hours and 15 mins. since my scheduled appointment. Why do car dealerships and service departments suck so bad?

Went there for a simple LSC (limited service campaign, its like a recall). All they have to do was to replace my high mounted brake light seal, which should take no more than 15 minutes to do. I have a roof top tent mounted in the bed and roof rack on the roof. Either blocks access to the headliner to assess the light. They had one look of my aftermarket stuff on the truck and stated theres no room and requested that I take everything off. It was raining and the interior was getting moldy, I need this done fast. A simple thing was going to make a huge mess. I told the advisor if I take out the light right there would they be able to perform the recall. Once again they refused.Took my truck to Fremont Toyota (which is out of the way from my home and had to drag my wife and new born with me). The advisor there spoke with the service manager right away and they made it happen without questions asked (this is before I told them my experience in Hayward).This is what the dealership is suppose to do, solve your problem, not create more. Please do yourself a favorite and go to Fremont Toyota, they are more professional and want to help solve your problem than this place.

Brought my new RAV4 Hybrid for service and everything was completed on time except they forgot to wash my car which I was told they said was included so I have to wait a little longer until it's done. Overall they are friendly and efficient.

The service manager is very friend. The whole process is straightforward and not trying sell me extra service that I don t need. The Mechanic did a great job and even tops off my washer fluid and cleaned my battery terminal. Great

I bought a used BMW here and was promised a missing toe hook cover and emergency tire repair kit as part of my purchase. I had to wait over 4 hours to complete the paperwork for the sale, and now two months later I still haven t received the parts I was promised. Good thing I didn t buy a Toyota because I would never want to bring it back here for service based on the level of service I received from Autonation Toyota Hayword thus far. I ve emailed and called multiple times only to be ignored.

Although I was tired from just helping to admit a friend to the hospital an icon on the dash had been lit for several days, indicating brake problems-as it was right before Christmas during, which I would need to do some driving I brought the car into AUTONATION to be checkout.. The intake person told me that the icon mean tire problems (I later proved him to be incorrect). He then proceeded to pull up the records for my car-these were outdated as the car had been sold and I repurchased it through the Honda Milpitas in July with only 23,000 and all necessary work, oil change etc. had been fully done-the paperwork was home in my desk. Most unfortunately, the intake person refused listen to me and, although the car was under 30,000 push to have the work he claimed need to be done, which as it turned out did not need. As I was exhausted from both my the stress of admitting my friend into the hospital, and being nearly age 80, I gave in. BYW before leaving, post-service, I pulled out the manual and showed him that the lit icon meant brakes-he could not admit his error (BTW the final workslip did not show that either the brake nor tires were checked and the card was dirtier than when I had brought it in). The Toyota Service Person actually stated "you don't need all those manuals throw them out!" When I got home I found the bill and as it turned out I was correct. I called the Service Manager and received the run-around and non-stop lies to for the next 5 days---exceedingly stressful. I finally connected with someone-on threat of reporting the incident to my credit card company, I finally spoke with a so-called service manager. Exhausted, I stupidly agreed to pay for half the bill-if I had to do it again-I would not have done so. I was the victim of ageism, sexism, and out-and-out incompetence and lies and in this way defrauded by Toyota. I deserved not only a full-on apology, but a full refund by these most untrustworthy business. I will NEVER bring my car into AUTONATION TOYOTA again and am spreading the word.

Three hours wait on an oil change is a bit excessive. Would recommend making some changes. Had an appointment at 1:40pm and didn't get out until 4:40pm.

I am taking my car where I know the Service Advisor and service work needed for my car will be performed correctly and without taking advantage of me. The Service Mgr @ AN Hywd Toyota told me to set my appts with one person. I don't seem to get that person ever to schedule my appts. I'm tired of being non important to this company. No more telling me to buy something my car doesn't need or setting up an appt for me to pay when my warranty and services are covered by Toyota Care. I'm moving on, I don't care how far I need to drive to get the service my car needs and the respect this customer deserves.

I have a complicated highly modified rock climber 2007 FJ, From appointment calls to vehicle pickup i received polite, friendly informative fair accurate information and communication. Vehicle needed a follow visit which was received without a word of rebuttal or delay. Eventually completing service perfectly. First time no dash lights and handles great. Bryant and Vasilie.

I have been coming here since I got my chr in 2018. Even though they tell me 3 hours for service they are usually done sooner. I don't feel like I am going to get ripped off and all of the techs that I've delt with over the years have been consistently friendly.

I appreciate all the help rendered to me at this place: 1. Omid Azizi surprised me by calling me to herald the car I was looking for was on lot (cutting down my wait time by more than a month!). 2. The Finance Head helped me in directing to easy payment methods (saving my time that would have wasted by going back and forth to Banks). 3. Upon arrival, other associates made it easy for me to find out where to go. 4. Lastly, I felt safe to leave my old car at the property for overnight (picked up next morning safely).Thank you, guys!!!!
