Such a low pedigree of mechanics. I took my car to AAA last week because one of my windshield wipers was not working. The gentleman who attended to me said it would cost me $199 diagnostic fee and they would have to open up the entire box to see what the problem was and maybe even replace the motor which was at least a few hundred dollars. Luckily they were not able to accommodate me the same day and ask me to come in the next daySince I am a complete dodo when it comes to mechanical fixes, I had another mechanic look at it today and he literally spent 12 seconds to tighten an exposed bolt and get the wiper to work again and didn t even charge me for it!If the AAA mechanic had done this for me I would be writing a 5 star review on how AAA cares about its premium members but instead he tried to pull a scam on me. Shame on you AAA and the last time I trust you and come by your shop!

The AAA services was excellent. They performed and gave me recommendations on when I might need the service seen on diagnostic. Will definitely will be using them again

While I am a bit biased, I only take my vehicle to a Club Owned Repair Shop. The team at the Hayward location is all about the customer. Be back soon.

I took my car in because the battery wouldn t hold a charge. Alfonso gave me a quote on a new battery just in case, and told me that he would run some tests on the existing battery. He notified me within two hours of my dropping the car off and explained what he found. They replaced the battery made sure everything was working properly and notified me when the car was ready. Overall an excellent experience. Friendly and professional.Services: Auto battery replacement, Auto battery maintenance

Shout out to Brian for being super chill and helping me out. My car was making a weird grinding noise whenever I made right turns, was afraid something was wrong with the axle. Process was really straightforward. By the next day they figured out what was wrong, it was just a plastic cover hitting the wheel. They did find some other issues, replaced the engine mounts, my battery was a bit old, so they replaced it. While not too bad my car is old (20+ years) and they recommended that I replace my struts. I agreed with all the changes, minus replacing the struts. They are pricey. In total I must have paid $1000, but they were super quick, and I got my car back the very next day.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Pleased that AAA moved into Hayward near to where I live. The scheduling was simple and the service was very smooth. I just wanted to take a few moments to complement and let you know how pleased I was to deal with Kevin Smith.My car was stolen in Oakland on January 22 and found in Piedmont on January 25. Both Oakland and Piedmint were really on top of everything. Unfortunately, my adjuster out of OK sent my car to a body shop facility in SR and there was no body damage to the car. From the very beginning, they had no intention of repairing my car. They lied to me, sat on the repairs and gave AAA an estimate without bothering to start my car. AAA had approved the repairs on my car and after being under the impression my car was going to be repaired, I found out weeks later my engine was seized and it was going to be totaled. What an emotional roller coaster. After a few initial contacts, I heard nothing from the adjuster. I lost all faith in my adjuster and the body shop he sent my car to.Someone had suggested your facility and I had the car towed in. I walked into your facility totally frustrated. Kevin asked me how he could help and boy did I unload on him . From the very beginning, he listened, asked important questions, took notes and he listened. He understood my frustration. I am 69 and could not afford a new car. I loved my car and wanted it back. My car was a 2011 Hyundai and had gone through the Hyundai Tik Tok theft escapade. I left feeling better that my car was in good hands. He was honest about the repairs, lack of parts etc.The next morning, less than 24 hours later, he called to tell me the engine had seized up. Of course I was devastated knowing my car was going to be totaled. Then the "Kevin treatment"kicked in. He took the time to check with your mechanics, asked me about whether I had had engine work on my car, my warranty, suggested I reach out to Hyundai for a possible recall, he reached out to some other folks and called my adjuster numerous times until he got an answer. To be honest, he was the ONLY AAA employee who had really given a damn since this nightmare began. If I emailed him, he answered. If I called him, he answered.My car was totaled and to this day, Kevin is the only AAA employee I would RAVE about. He is business like, professional, kind, compassionate and HONEST. He listens. He is an absolute treasure and I would recommend this facility a million times over because of him

Stay away!1. Wrong problem evaluation. They didn t know what they were doing. We brought our Fiat that was out of gas, and they said our gas tank had a leak, which was completely wrong. When we towed our car to my mechanic, it turned out that the Fiat had a special gas tank protector.2. They have 8x markups! Don't be fooled. They quoted $900 for a gas tank neck, which costs $100. It's a Fiat, not a Ferrari.

I wanted to get routine car maintenance and decided to try this place since it was new. I made an appointment online which was simple. Finding the building was easy because it has a big AAA sign.When I got there, the worker was able to see I had an appointment, but didn't know my car's information. Additionally, he wasn't sure if they could do a brake fluid change, even though that was what I asked for online. I was asked to sign something without seeing what I was signing. I didn't receive an estimate or invoice before the work.After the work was done, I got a multi point inspection report on my phone, which was helpful. I then was asked to pay without seeing what I was charged for. I asked if I could see the receipt but the worker said I could get a copy afterwards.While the car service was good, there were things that could be improved such as communication between the online appointment and shop, and getting invoices/estimates before signing/paying. Due to these issues, I will most likely not be returning.

I had an issue with my battery, so I took it to AAA auto repair shop, I was very impressed with prompt and professionalism. Shop was clean and organized, and everyone there was very polite and helpful, I was worrying about the cost or the work needed done, thankfully they were honest and I had a bad fuse, if it was another repair shop, I know they would of charge an arm and legThanks TEAM AAAyou all are greatService: Auto battery maintenance

Fluid replacement. Everything was great. The highest place I called for an oil change $115 plus tax for members .most places 65,75 or 85Oil is not that expensive
