This guy was cool at first but he lied to me all the way around. Idk why people do that. I asked for 5% ceramic tint upfront but it isn't I can still see through the windows. He then didn't even tint my front windshield because he wanted to work on other people's cars. He left the job half way done. The tint job was to be desired for. Improper cuts everywhere. Save yourself some money and go to someone way more professional.

I have a 06 E90 BMW 325xi and they did an amazing job. Prices are great and so is the customer service. I took in my head unit that I bought off crutch field and got it installed with them and they were very fast to get to work on it if I could give a higher rating I would these guys did an amazing job I recommend completely!

15 years coming to this location to get all my cars window tinted. Good price, excellent, and fast service. The owner treats you like a friend. Give them a chance to earn your business and you won't be disappointed.

I have been bringing cars here for over 20+ years when Jay was running it. Jay retired approximately 6 months ago (May 2023).I recently called to see if they could dismantle an alarm system that was draining my battery. Caesar quoted me over the phone and saw me as soon as I rolled up. For one reason or another, he could not dismantle the "factory set alarm". Had it been an aftermarket alarm, he would have easily taken care of it. However, Caesar was amazing in recommending Ted Perez with Lexus Automotive Service that had been in the same lot for over 25+ years but recently moved to 3820 El Segundo Blvd., Unit E2, Hawthorne, CA 90250. I appreciate referrals when I can get them, especially when it's for great businesses being run by decent human beings.

This place is awesome. Their service is over the top. All workers are expert on what they are doing, and the owner has a wonderful personality. I really enjoyed working with him.I highly recommend this place for tint, stereo and alarm system for any cars.

Quick and easy. Went in to get LEDs for my moms headlights and Jay was nice and professional. Took maybe about 20 min or so and we were on our way! Gave great advice about possible future repairs as well !

I decided to come here after reading so many great reviews and I do not regret it. The owner Jay was very nice, very informative and delivered exactly what I wanted! He also noticed my key fob was broken when I handed him my keys and he fixed it for me at no extra charge and I didnt even ask him to do that, so that was such a generous gesture by him. I will definately be coming back here!. Thanks!

I had dash cams installed in 2 cars here. I found the owner Jai to be very honest and professional. He explained the process of installation and brought attention to things that might have become an issue. Among the other visible projects were people getting custom sound system installed in their muscle cars and others getting TV systems installed in their trucks and RVs. Many seemed to be long time returning customers, which is a testament to the quality of previous work performed. I would highly recommend.

I ve been going to Jay since the late 90 s. From window tinting to radio installation, to car alarm, not once have I nor anyone I ve sent to Jay have been an unsatisfied customer. Jay takes pride in his work and ensures his team does the same. Just by the way this team works, I m certain that if something was done to unsatisfactory, they would go above and beyond to bring forth satisfaction. This is just MY opinion based on MY observation on how Jay runs his business. Fair prices and honesty with Outstanding Service. I m a REAL customer. RN to be exact. Try them for yourselves and see if you don t agree. Thanks Prairie Auto Security! You guys truly ROCK!!!

I can't thank them enough Superior Service and I mean Superior I have a truck that I've been many places to fix an electrical problem with the alarm and he diagnosed it in minutes found the problem and fixed it for a minimal price I was shocked. I've never tipped a repairman but I tipped him well. Like I said Superior Service and I will be back if I have an issue with another vehicle's electrical system.

Best place in town to get eondow tints, security / car alarm, dash cam, specialty items done for your car. Good pricing, and reliable work. Been going there for years. Just ask for Jay.

Went today 2/24/20 with my own sound system double din 6 speakers amps unfortunately 1 amp didn't work but bought one from them Jay was great system came out clean reasonable prices loved the clean work they did im picky and I approved definitely recommend this place!! Speak with jay

J is the best auto security guy in Hawthorne. Very honest and cheap. Helped me avoid money hungry shops scattered around this neighborhood. If you want an amazing job done for a very reasonable price then j is your man

Honest mechanics really do exist! He squeezed my minor issue with the headlight in between jobs. Asked me for $20 in cash which he in returned gave to my daughters that were with me. He also ended up changing my headlights for very good price. A+

Jay is the most fair and honest installer around today. He will not sale you anything that you dont need. Ive been going to him for almost 20 years. Ive had him work on my car and both my SUVs and ive NEVER had a complaint or NEVER was dissatisfied by the end results. He and his team has installed an alarm with tilt sensor, stereos, amps, per amps, tvs in the head rest that looked like the factory did it, dvd players and even tint. Never had to bring cars back because of grounding noise, any shorts or anything. All work looks super professional. Ive even brought him my SUV to uninstall the stuff he put in before i sold it. He made it look like after the market stuff was never installed at all. Jay makes you feel like your more than just a costomer. Your part of the family.

these people are great! i was treated very well.. got a great deal on stereo and two 9" speakers installation (i already had the devices on hand)...I highly recomend these people...i did not feel robbed and/or disatisfied... :)

Let me start by saying this is my first yelp review. A close friend of mine recommended Prairie Auto Security to install a drop down entertainment system in my wife's Lexus LX470.. From the start J made me feel like a long time customer. J's team has amazing knowledge of electronics and design concepts. The entertainment system install looks like it came from the factory and works great. In addition to installing the entertainment system, J also fixed my dome light which had been inoperable for years. I highly recommend J and his team..LM

Waaaaay OVER PRICED.....Extremely OVER PRICED....Shop around in same area for Reasonable Price & better Customer Service & not get the feeling of getting RIPPED OFF

The owner is very mean and will not help out at all been here 3 times and everytime I leave more disappointed it's sad cause it's in my block I wish I would've been a good shop so I wouldn't have to go anywhere else but it is what it is.
