Problem was located soon using their Diagnostic testing. I was very much relieved knowing I don't have to worry anymore of vehicle shutting off while driving. Marvin & Brian were professional, friendly, hospitable & made me feel comfortable as if we had known one another for years. Brian went above & beyond, seeing I got home safely. I strongly recommend "Blu Automotive" to anyone who needs vehicle servicing. Ratings of 1-10, I give them a 10+ for sure. I am very satisfied with their mechanics & personnel. You are greeted when dropping off vehicle & all men in office said thank you & have a good day as I was leaving to pick up vehicle. I will definitely have "Blu Automotive" continue servicing my 1999 Honda Civic without a doubt. They proved, being very knowledgeable, compared to other mechanics I have had experiences with. +

By far, the definition of professionalism! I ve taken my Mercedes-Benz GLA here for about a year, and every time I arrive, I am greeted and welcomed by all the employees. This location is clean and has an environment to work while waiting for your vehicle. I am surprised that I have not given a review before today. I had time, and I have to provide credit, and credit is due. I appreciate and value excellent customer service. The service prices are beyond reasonable, Not to mention my AAA discount. I have never had a negative experience bringing my vehicle to this location! Great job!Sincerely, a loyal and appreciative customer!

I dealt with many automotive mechanics some down right honest and some are not. I brought my BMW X5 at Blu Automotive Brian was very pleasant explaining what was wrong with my dashboard notification. Very affordable price for my brake fluid flush I was there for a very short period of time. Happy to found this automotive service.

Professional and courteous services when we had our Mini Cooper.They take good care of you here without gauging you for something you really don't need done. They will tell you exactly what needs to be done. Nothing more, nothing less.The staff here are helpful and pleasant. Returned here for minor repairs and services for all our needs.Clean, organized, efficient service.

Going to a new mechanic is never easy for me trust wise, however Blu exceeded my expectations. They were friendly and accommodating and I left feeling well taken care of. I feel confident that I can trust what they say regarding my car and they backed it up with video, something I've never seen an auto shop do. I will go out of my way to take my car to Blu in the future!

Fair and fast. What more would you want from your mechanic?Found this shop online looking for a place that could check/repair my ac, "near me." They had excellent reviews, now I know why. Easy to make an appointment. Didn't make me wait to check in when I arrived. I got an update diagnostic report while I waited with loads of pix; and my car was checked and repaired within an hour. Price was fair. I don't hope for other car repairs, but if I need one I know who I'll be calling.

Marvin and Brian are accommodating and patient, will take their time to explain the situation. They're honest and will not push you to get a service if not needed. Dave, is proactive and honest, he opted not to change my transmission oil on my "dying" prius based on the check engine analysis. He was honest and saved me an unnecessary service. Highly recommended. Will keep going and will refer friends and family.

My prior AAA mechanic closed permanently during Covid. I was ecstatic to discover Blu was AAA and so near my home. When they do oil changes, they perform safety checks and thankfully discovered something that needed repair at one of the first appointments. I like that they are able to show good color photos of the needed repair and give good explanations. Service is excellent and staff is super friendly and helpful. Their referrals to other services (e.g. smog) have also been good.

I was a heavy wheel vehicle mechanic in the army for 7 years. I ve rebuilt engines myself many years ago so I know about cars. Blu is an honest repair shop with the best customer service I have ever received, even better than the service I get from my BMW dealership.All work includes extensive photos with notes from the mechanic to create a very detailed record. They take their time explaining everything without trying to manipulate you with fear tactics. They have a very comfortable waiting room, clean bathrooms and the entire staff is super friendly.I came here several years ago with an issue my BMW service department told me would cost around $3k to repair. Something told me to get a second opinion and I m so glad I did. I had a check engine light on. Blue s guys tinkered around with it for about 20 minutes and found it was a loose connection. They tightened it up and didn t charge me a penny. It s been more than two years and the check engine light has not come back on, and the car continues to drives exactly as the ultimate driving machine should.I recently had some issues with a company minivan and remembered how awesome Blu was with my BMW. I brought in the minivan and they took great care of me. The van is back to its normal self again and I couldn t be happier.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection

They do really excellent work. They would explain every detail what is wrong with your vehicle. A lot of times they will have a loaner car for you and their prices are very reasonable

A failed engine computer part in my older car brought me to Blu Auto - recommended by my son. They kept me informed, gave me a loaner car, and ultimately solved the problem.My PT Cruiser has a new lease on life. Blu Auto is amazing. Best mechanics ever.Service: Electrical repair

Blu Automotive is the BEST OF THE BEST auto repair shops around. We are now in Oregon and MISS Blu auto tremendously! There are NO AAA approved shops here in the town we're living in, so had/have to rely on reviews. So very different to Blu Auto and they don't seem to have the patience to take the time for photos and good explanations as Blu Auto gives. I'm trusting that they are as good as other people say they are.If you are looking for a good auto repair shop, stop here and go no further. Very bad experience this time. Not going back. Told me my car needed a new engine$7,500. Now I had the car in 5 days before as they said that it needed work and that cost me $1,300.So couldn't understand why all of sudden car overheated within 5 days of them working on car and now well it wasn't doing that before. Had the car taken to another mechanic and car fixed and running great.

Got an add for a Maintenance Service for $59.99. Needed to take my car into the shop and was thinking about taking it to the dealership. My instrument cluster was going off/on. Had them check that out. They did the maintenance/inspection. Ended up replacing brakes, had instrument cluster checked and (instead of having to completely replace the entire cluster like the dealership wanted to do) just one little item was replaced. The entire bill came to about the same that the dealership charged for just the maintenance alone. Oh. And since the repair took several days they gave me a FREE loaner car for the duration. Blu Automotive is a friendly and reliable shop. They offer personable and knowledgeable customer service. The mechanics send you photos and descriptions of what they have found or done in your car.When I ve had to leave my car for long periods, they ve offered me a loaner vehicle. I appreciate their consistently professional work and communication.

I took my daughter s 2012 Ford F-150 in to Blu Automotive to find out what the noise was that my daughter and I heard coming from the truck after my husband had replaced the starter. The inspection was done by the owner Luis and he was very kind and professional and he even brought me back to the mechanic s bay so that could identify the noise because he wasn t hearing anything. To my surprise, the darn truck wasn t making the noise anymore. I was expecting to pay for the inspection but again to my surprise it was free!During the inspection Luis did find a couple hoses and belts that needed to be replaced because of normal wear and tear. Made an appointment within a few days to have those items repaired. The prices were reasonable and Luis allowed us to buy our own radiator fluid to cut down on the cost. He gave my husband a loaner car, which we weren t expecting (totally cool) and finished the job in the four hours as promised, and lastly gave us our AAA discount for being AAA members. So glad I chose to go to Blu Automotive. I think we found our new mechanic. Thanks Luis!

I have been bringing my cars to Blu for many years and have always been highly satisfied with their work and service. I have recommended them to many of my friends and co-workers as well and they too have experienced the same. Luis and his crew always go the extra mile to make sure their customers' needs are met.

First, an employee got testy when I said the charges were high. He told me how much less they were at the dealer. His attitude annoyed me so I called. The dealer quoted wheel alignment was $100. Blu was charging me $159!!!! That's 60 percent more!!! They also couldn't do it right after two alignments. Ultimately, after a long discussion, they returned my money. It took a while and it felt like they expected me to let them do more work on the car. I will not return.

BLU Automotive is the only place I bring my Chevy Impala to. They re honest with us clients and have outstanding mechanics who know what they re doing. I m super satisfied with them and will never take my car anywhere else. I went to get an oil change today from Blu automotive. I was given a quote of around $2200 for various other repairs per their recommendation. I initially said yes, received a loaner car & was told the repairs would be completed on 4/18/23. Upon returning home I changed my mind & I called them to say I would no longer need the total service & would just do the $418 charge I had agreed to in the beginning. They said ok. Later I was informed that my car was ready for pickup. I brought the loaner car back & went to the desk to pay. The gentleman then asked "what are you going to do about your rear brakes that need repair"? I told him I had spoke with mechanic & he was going to take care of it. " He then says, "we did all this work & now your saying your going to take it someplace else, that isn't fair". I then said, I came in for an oil change, not all the other repairs. With the inspection I was told about the other things. He then said well your mechanic could also take care of your oil change. Too many hands on one car. I was truly insulted by his comment. I paid for the oil change and the 70 pt inspection, it was done for free. I should not be insulted because I changed my mind about doing a service. You wait until after I have paid you to insult me. I'm well aware that my mechanic can do an oil change and repairs. I was close to blu automotive and I chose to go there because I have been there before. I'm sure he wouldn't like it if someone talked to his wife, daughter or mother in that manner. Made me want to never go back.Service: Oil change

This shop is in Harbor City across from the Harbor Regional Park and Machado Lake. It is easy to spot off of PCH with its Blu Signage. There are plenty of parking spots. As soon as you walk in, you are promptly greeted and if you have an appointment will be serviced right away. They are very accommodating; however, they are a busy shop due to many loyal customers. The main difference is the professionalism of the front desk staff, the expertise of the mechanics, and the use of the internet to email you pictures of your car and the parts and what else may be required at that time or in the near future. The prices are good but you get what you pay for. they are giving you quality parts and quality service. I have been going there for many years and wouldnt trust anyone else. I dont even live that close, but venture from Long Beach to Harbor City, because they are that good.
