After staying in a few hotels in random cities in Nor Cal, we ended up in Happy Camp for the night. We stayed in the ladybug cabin and loved it! Small, cozy, comfortable, a/c units that actually work, full kitchenette, and real soap! By far my favorite out of all the places we stayed. They even called us ahead of time and let us know the fire on 36 was sending smoke their way and they would let us cancel if we wanted. Rita was a doll and worked with us to give us a little extra time in the morning so we could go explore a little before we left - much appreciated! We already have an idea of a fishing trip we'll be taking and staying there again very soon. Thanks for the great experience!

Customer service showcased at its best. I was super impressed with the service and The Cobbler Cottage. Came to gold mine for the weekend and took the only remaining cottage (cabin) available. It was a one bed cottage. Gary surprised us with throwing a sleeper in it and had it set up for us ready to go. With full kitchen amenities it sure made the stay more pleasant. While we did not use the jacuzzi the cabin does have one. Highly recommend you check out Big Foot RV Park and Cabins for your next adventure to Happy Camp.

We made reservations for 3 nights. When it was time to check out we decided to extend our stay another 7 days. Clean facilities with friendly managers and owners. Family and pet friendly with beautiful garden and garden boxes... perfect for pulling up a piece of shade, enjoying the summer breeze and relaxing! We are already planning a return trip next year!!

This place is fantastic, I come here at least once a summer either staying in a cabin or in the tent area. This year we were grilling on the bbq at the cabin, the staff noticed and the next day we had a chimney, paper and lighter fluid. The cabins are adorable, well decorated and landscaped. Walking distance to the grocery store and the New 49ers club house.

Cozy and quirky. Firewood delivered whenever it's cold. We loved the privacy of our cabin and parking. Loved the smart TV/Netflix for the kids. The bathtub situated next to the master bed was not well lit and needed a better scrub. With that said, I would still come back.

Everything was pleasant! Owners were very accommodating & each cabin has it's own theme which is refreshing! Quiet & clean. Couldn't ask for better lodging in this very rural town!

We had vehicle issues outside of town and needed a tow back to Happy Camp. Rita helped us out with a place to spend the night and was an amazing host. Very thankful for the flexible hospitality!

The customer service was excellent! Happy Camp is a remote town with limited services. The owners, Gary and Rita, of BigFoot RV Park goes out of their way to help campers enjoy the best of what the Klamath Forest and river has to offer. The sites are not resort level accommodations but they worked for me. The customer service was excellent from the time I made the reservation until the day I left. The river and forest is the play ground including rafting, gold mining, biking, mountain biking, hiking, BIG FOOT hunting, and experiencing Native American culture. I will be back next year!

Awesome service!!! They rescued two people who hadn't slept all night! I received a call at 5am on Sunday morning of Labor Day Weekend...two women were coming up to Happy Camp, CA to put on a Kids Event during a festival in town. The two women were in Yreka and had been up all night trying to find a hotel room. Due to a fire, Yreka had no rooms. I called Rita at Bigfoot RV Park & Cabins and she was able rent them one of her cabins (they had a no show). She let them check in at 7:30 am when they arrived in Happy Camp and they were able to get a few hours sleep before the event. The girls LOVED the cabin's decor, comfortable beds and furniture! Thanks Rita...you're the BEST!

Rida and Gary were both a delight to work with. They tried to accomadate any needs I had and resolved any issues I had. I stayed at the Chili Pepper and it was a funky yet relaxing cabin with a kitchenette. Also, I stayed at a cottage that had a hot tub and it was very romantic.

The couple who own and operate this place are fantastic! They gave us a tour of the place, told us of the local swimming hole, and even about a morning hike where you can have breakfast. The cabin that we stayed in was cozy and nice. Anyone in the area looking for a place to stay needs to check this place out.

My girlfriend had her RV parked at Big Foot RV Park for several years and we have only good and wonderful things to write about this very convenient RV Park. It's walking distance to stores and the Post Office, yet still in the woods. They have shower facilities and washers/dryers. Happy Camp is a great place to camp and live!

The owner dosnt seem to understand what a servise animal is. She told me I could only have 1 pet if I wanted to stay there I told her I have 1 pet and 1 servise animal for seizure that I've had my Whole life! She said it's just to many animals. She hasn't lived with a disability that requires an animal or she would know that this dog is not a burden and is required to be allowed EVERYWHERE. She needs to brush up on her laws. Obviously we moved on.

Interesting place. Shaded grassy areas are nice. Spots are mixed in with long term residents. No fire pits or tables available. Showers are decent and laundry facilities.

Amazing everthing ! Went during my favorite mushroom picking season! Staying in the ladybug cabin now, which is beyond our expectations! You don't need ato bring a thing, just make sure to explore the everything, in every direction!

Well run family atmosphere RV Park in Siskiyou County sitting just off of Highway 96 on the start of the back road short cut to Oregon that is closed in winter due to snow.Gary and Rita are two very caring people who work to keep the RV Park clean and facilities working. There are long term trailer sites as well as overnight trailer and camping sites.

Cleaned in town walking to Grocery store, Sm. Store bear, wine ectra. Friendly staff, Rv s campers tents it all cover .
