This is our second time staying at the rendezvous Inn. We love the cozy quiet location in the well attended gardens. My husband took advantage of the hot tub. We look forward every morning to our scones and muffins. They are so mouthwatering delicious. I was celebrating my 70th birthday and wanted a place that was quiet And cozy. Loved sitting on the wooden porch in the Adirondack chairs and reading our books. Clear skies produced so many stars at night. The place is clean and decorated beautifully.Rooms: We have stayed in both the Aquitaine room and the Quilt room and both were lovingly decorated. The small stove and refrigerator along with the microwave was all we needed for a comfort. The bed is huge with lots of pillows and cozy blankets.

We had a delightfully, cozy, stay and will definitely return. The highlight was the expertly baked goods!! Such an amazing treat! We had to purchase goods to take home because we wanted to share the experience with loved ones. I typically am the meal preparer, so to have such great food brought to me, was a decadence I'll not soon forget. There are many good things about The Rendezvous but this just happened to be an unexpected favorite!

Everyone is right. The place is beautiful and relaxing..owners are awesome. The garden is so beautiful especially as we came right after the storms and the sun's been out Most importantly my oh my those biscuits are indeed incredible! The coffee is as amazing, I am all about a good espresso drink in the morning while journaling out in the patio.Do it. Book your getaway here. So many places to visit around the area. If you love sun(sets), sand, and sea like this tropical girl who moved to California does -- you'll enjoy it Won't need much. Take your tired selves up here, take in all of nature, chat with the locals here and there and just be present. Rooms: Rooms are quaint and homey. Fireplace is so cozy. They have good Internet..no TV as some might be looking for that but we didn't need itNearby activities: So many local beaches and nature hikes everywhere. A few wineries here and there. The sea ranch chapel is a nice quick stop too.Food & drinks: Restaurants, bars and groceries around..their breakfast pastries are top notch

My partner and I spent a mini-honeymoon getaway here, and it was perfect! Diane is a wonderful host. She is extremely attentive and cares a lot about your experience. The place was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The hot tub was peaceful and well-maintained. It was a treat to wake up to ocean views each morning. The breakfast is also divine. The biscuits and scones were some of the best we have ever had, and the lattes were great too! The chai is great (deliciously spicy and not too sweet). A really amazing value for the experience. We look forward to coming back in the future!!

Our stay at The Rendezvous was nothing short of amazing. Gualala and Point Arena area are stunning as is, but having this beautiful place to stay made it an incredible weekend. It s clear that Diane and Damien put so much intention and energy behind each and every concept at the inn, evident in the art, rooms, breakfast, and recommendations they provide. We felt so lucky to stay at The Rendezvous, it was magical and restorative and we can t wait to go back.

this is the easiest review I ve ever written. Simply, if you are looking for quiet, cozy, and a well appointed fabulous piece of property There s no reason to keep searching. Read the reviews of rendezvous inn .. All 5.0. ..4 miles north of Gualala. The only issue we have, is whether to ever leave the property .. can anywhere be better than here?

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights in the Galaxy Room (room 4), and we had a wonderful time. Since it was November, the weather was a little chilly, but the fireplace kept the room warm and comfortable. The Galaxy Room is a little tucked away from the road and other rooms, plus it has a private porch with swing, which we enjoyed swaying on while listening to the waves. We also brought my dog, who enjoyed lounging in the morning sun that the Galaxy Room gets.I love how much care and detail went into the experience at Rendezvous Mendocino, from the art and decor to the thoughtful welcome binder. Damien and Diane are also very friendly and responsive.Delicious breakfast arrives around 9am, so make sure to plan in a lazy morning during your stay! We also tried the calzone and took some leftovers home with us. You can also get some nice stargazing in the meadow at the top of the property. Part of me just wanted to stay on site the whole time, but there is definitely a great selection of activities in the area too.

Second trip to Rendezvous Mendocino and our experience was just as terrific as the first time.Large, clean rooms. Great hot tub. Tucked away, but still only a short drive from anything you d need. And the star of the show is the breakfast every morning.Plan on spending a couple days here every year. Can t recommend more highly.

My husband and I spent three nights in the Quilt Room and we enjoyed everything about it. What a treat to have homemade granola and biscuits delivered every morning, along with fabulous espresso drinks! I had to laugh at my husband s reaction to the vegetarian country gravy - WHAT?! No sausage?! But he found it delicious and ordered it each morning of our trip. There were fresh flowers on the tray, cloth napkins, and lattes and mochas served in big hand made mugs. Everything we needed was there, and the owners were available if we had a question, but not having to go through a lobby or elevators or interact with anyone made it feel private and special. The room was quite clean, and it was warm and inviting from the moment we first walked in. We loved exploring the area, and would be very pleased to stay here again next time we visit. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I adored my stay at Rendezvous Mendocino! Every aspect of the inn was decorated and run with thoughtfulness. I spent an evening journaling and reading in front of my own fireplace. Another highlight was sitting in the hot tub under the bull pines. Loved the biscuits and turmeric latte in the morning. Hope to come back with some girlfriends :)

My wife and I just spent our 1 year anniversary here and had an amazing experience. Our room the 'aquatine' room was decorated in amazing artwork that we both appreciated. We got a few boardgames in the lounge and played them in our room and was very peaceful. We brought our dog and she had a great time too. The biscuits with vegetarian gravy was so good. Amazing place and we will be back.

My husband & I stayed at this lovely Inn in Gualala to celebrate my birthday. Diane & Damien are wonderful hosts and bring delicious biscuits, scones & more to your room each morning. We stayed in the Quilt room with our two dogs and loved hanging out by the fireplace in the recliners at the end of the day. We will definitely stay here again and recommend Rendezvous Inn to all our friends!

This was our first stay at Rendezvous and we have discovered a new favorite! The setting is lovely and we couldn t have asked for better hosts than Diane and Damien. My husband and I stayed in the Quilt room for our anniversary and loved it. The room was clean, spacious, and VERY comfortable - from the comfy recliners in front of the fireplace to the dreamy bed with the foam topper, it was just perfect. The room has a kitchenette and while we didn't use the stove while we were there, we liked having the space to prepare picnics for our daily outings. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening in the chairs on our private porch listening to the surf and the sea lions. As others have noted, the breakfasts were a special treat! Diane s biscuits are truly amazing but then so are the muffins and the granola! We didn t try the scones this visit, so I guess we ll have to come again!Noteworthy details: Awesome breakfasts!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The location is wonderful! Secluded with the ocean right across the street. Diane and Damien are extremely responsive and you can tell they love what they do. There is so much attention to detail that normally goes missed at regular hotels. The morning breakfast was delicious and so thoughtful with picked flowers on the tray. The room was so cute, fireplace was lovely, and bed was extremely comfortable! The lounge with games and hot tub was just another plus that added to the stay. I will definitely be staying here again!

My husband and I needed a weekend get away so ventured to the Northern Coast. We ve driven past Rendezvous many times, so decided to book our stay. We re so glad we did! The grounds are beautiful with lush vegetation. The room (Aquitaine) is beautifully designed and comfortable . We loved the king sized bed. Also, the breakfast especially the muffins is delicious. The BEST thing was that our pup was able to join us. We loved our stay so much that we booked another visit for June.Nearby activities: Hiking, visiting quaint towns, sunsets.

What a gem of a place! Our room #5 was perfect from the views to the sound of sea lions to the beautiful grounds we walked and enjoyed in the evening. Ok now the best part, the breakfast..yummy homemade muffins, pecan scones and even homemade biscuits that you could peel off in layers, so yummy! Our first night we ordered their homemade calzone and it was big enough for two people and was delicious! We will definitely be going back!

Booked super last minute, check in was super easy, the rooms were so cozy - there was a fireplace log ready to burn, the beds were ridiculously comfortable, and the water was nice and hot - much needed after a day of hiking. The breakfast (brought to your door!) was unbelievable. Literally the best biscuit I have ever had, and the scone was phenomenal. Friendly service and felt so welcome, and the property is lovely. Must stay here if you are in the area!

Damian and Dianne have created a little piece of paradise. Everything exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to come back.I was wondering how things would be run without a front desk but soon realized that their set-up allows for them to provide beautiful hospitality such as a smiling face serving warm breakfast to my door in the morning and friendly and responsive communication through text, phone or email. The room was so clean and cozy, the grounds are beautiful and the sounds of the ocean waves and sea lions with the cool, sea air was dreamy.

Clean and relaxed environment with close proximity to trails and beaches. The evergreen room was perfect cabin feel and breakfast biscuits plus other baked treats were yummy, including Calzone. Breakfast included every morning delivered to door, drink menu is also great. Jacuzzi and indoor fireplace is awesome. The owners Damien & Diane created a very special place here, I can't wait to stay again. Enjoy to the fullest!

This was the Highlight of a weeklong road trip. The location is very convenient, the room was spacious and had all the comforts of a fancy hotel. Really enjoyed the room, the hot tub, and seeing some shooting stars. Loved the recommendations for dinner and the fantastic pastries and espresso for breakfast. Would plan my next trip around staying here!

This was our 2nd time at the Rendezvous Mendocino and it was just as fantastic as the first time. Beautiful grounds and spacious, carefully curated rooms. Super comfy getaway! The homemade breakfast delivered to your door is such a treat(Diane s ginger pecan scones are sooooo good!). Wonderful location on a quiet, often sunny stretch of the Mendocino coast with many great bluff views and gorgeous beaches nearby.

We love the Rendezvous! Diane and Damien have created such a sweet, comfortable space and they are wonderful hosts. There s nothing like sitting on the deck eating their fresh-baked muffins and scones. The location makes for easy day trips to Gualala, Point Arena, and Manchester State Beach.Nearby activities: We enjoyed a wonderful browse at Four-Eyed Frog Books and Anabelle s Boutique in Gualala, beach time out of the wind at Cooks Beach, a bluff hike at Stornetta, good eats at New Museum Brewery in Point Arena.

We stayed here on an overnight while traveling down the highway. Beautiful property. We had booked the room ahead and it turned out to be an excellent choice. We stayed in the Aquitaine room, very spacious and cute. We also enjoyed the homemade calzone and our breakfast was stellar including the espresso and tea drinks. Damien and Diane do not dissappoint.

An amazing experience, will be recommending this to everyone. The booking process was a breeze, check in was too easy but the real star of the show was the breakfast!!! Incredible views and the rooms were so clean and peaceful. Slow mornings sipping tea and watching the waves while being warmed by the fire, couldn't imagine a better getaway. The location is great for exploring the Mendocino Coast and has lots of great beaches and trails nearby and plenty of great coastal towns. Really can't rave enough about Diane and Damian and their cozy B&B (bed and biscuits )
