I went in yesterday 03/24, I was kindly greeted by one gentleman. The other employee his name was John was very rude. I was asking questions about a car part i needed and he kept rolling his eyes, acting very annoyed. I was very disappointed i ended up asking to get a different employee to assist me. He also stated hes been working there for 27 years after I asked him how he had this job for so long with that rude and ignorant customer service. What a disgrace, terrible employee. Cheers to the other employee who helped me. Will be going to oreilleys from now on.

By far one of the best auto parts store I ve been to in a while. I went in to get my battery replaced and my check engine light read. I was helped by a young man who is a manger named Andrew. He was very knowledgeable about his work and very respectful. Thank you Andrew for all the needed help, I hope good things come your way young man.

I want to start by saying one of the ONLY reasons auto zone is getting 4 stars from me today is due to DAVID SILVA. He's one of the friendliest employees here. (And I've been in this area for 8 years now. I've gone to Auto zone probably a dozen times throughout that length of time)He went above and beyond today with helping me change out my headlights.I originally asked Vanessa the manager. I called over the phone to ask for help with them. I could tell by the conversation Vanessa and I were having that I wouldn't be getting any help from her today. When I came in to the store shortly after getting off the phone with her, she came out to look at my headlights and instantly told me that I would have to take it to a body shop where they would have to take off certain parts to get to the lights.LUCKILY, David overheard me talking with the cashier about what I was trying to do and he instantly asked to take a look at my headlights lights.After going out and looking at them he started in on what's seemed like a VERY EASY JOB. He had them changed out and done within less then probably 15-20 minutes.So, with all that said... A BIG SHOUT OUT TO HARD WORKING PEOPLE LIKE DAVID WHO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND WHEN THEY DON'T HAVE TO.Somebody, please give this man a pretty raise and the management position! It will keep your business strong and looking real good!

First off I do lots of driving and I am constantly getting stuff for my cars to keep them on the road running as well as they can. This review is specifically geared towards Vanessa who help me today she actually got everything I needed without me having to hit the shelf for anything but one item she put in my back brake light that went out as I waited and purchased other items she was super kind super helpful super efficient above and beyond better than I even expected and top-notch customer service thanks again.

I cannot say enough how helpful Noel at the arroyo grande store is. He went above and beyond with making sure my battery got me back on the road. The year and make of my car is known for being super difficult and he was very patient making sure it was done properly. Thank you again Noel. You re a rock!!!!!

This morning I interacted with Freddy at the Grover Beach, California store. Wow! I was so lucky. My car had no oil in it and Freddy was there to help me. I m sure he could tell I was scared and jumped right in to save the day. Freddy was kind, polite, professional, patient and a wiz at cars. His whole demeanor spoke that he was knowledgeable and there to help customers. Wow! Who knew we had such a diamond at our local Auto Zone. I will definitely be returning for my car needs in the future. Thank you, Freddy!

I cannot thank and appreciate Noel and the employees at Auto Zone enough. My car's engine light went on and the car was difficult to drive. They gave us a device to plug into the car so they could place it in their computer to diagnose the problem. They determined that something was wrong with the battery and Noel determined that it was just a loose screw or nut and went out of his way to tighten it. I was so impressed and thankful. They saved me lots of time, money and stress. Thank you Noel and fellow co-workers. They also helped me choose a product to clean my headlights. Friendly people who care about their job and are good at it! Excellent customer service!!!

Bought a serpentine belt there being told it was the correct one despite the salesman mentioning incorrect information about the vehicle. After finding out our was the incorrect belt i start walking back over there aand called since they closed in 3 min and i was about a 4 min walk away, they would not keep the store open after i pleaded with them to please stay open an extra minute and correct their mistake. The woman who answered 3 min before closing on 1/25/2023 was very combative with me. I think because i had a rushed tone knowing they closed in 3 min and trying to explain the situation before they locked up as I'm power walking down the street she must've thought i was being hostile towards her as she wouldn't respond to what i was saying, instead she would try to defuse the the situation. As i asked the same question 3 different times in 3 different ways, never getting an answer, i was now being told "Sir if you would listen I'm going to tell you they just locked the door". At this point i am basically sprinting down the road about 50yrds away. I thanked her and told her i wouldn't bother coming the next 50yrds, Now I'm back at my car trying to figure out how I'm going to get home without the correct serpentine belt. I've had multiple issues with being provided incorrect parts from this store over the years but this time i really felt like they didn't care at all about their mistake

Great customer service. Noel and Vaness manager. they are awesome! This was my 3 AutoZone I came to , so I could get my headlights changed and they did they changed the headlights, the other 2 places just said no without even trying. Thank you AutoZone in Grover beach.

Honestly I've always preferred autozone over O'Reillys but I honestly I'm over it. Everytime I go in here there's at least one employee with some bunk attitude, on top of the fact nobody ever knows what they are talking about unless you talk to the parts manager, so if you don't know what you need, I wouldn't recommend asking questions because I've literally been sold the wrong part on at least 2-3 different occasions! One time after opening the product *realizing it was the wrong one* I took it back with the receipt and I didn't have the packaging and they're gonna tell me " oh we can't take it back without the packaging" *mind you the packaging was a piece of cardboard with a piece of paper* to which they sold me the wrong valve cover gasket entirely and then gonna tell me we can't take it back, obviously I talked to a different guy and took it back but man just this and on so many other occasions this place is just an inconvenience honestly, down to the snooty girl i just talked to right now who was on her personal phone as she came up to me then proceeded to just have attitude. Everytime I go into O'Reillys literally right across the street its happy people who know what they are actually talking about with zero hassles...ever... that's alllll I'm saying just over ya'll.

We recently stopped by autozone and we were highly impressed with the level of service and professional. Our sales associate was kind enough to come to our car and help us with the right product. He also came in to check up on us later! Definitely great customer experience!

I went to the AutoZone in Grover Beach, Ca on a Tuesday afternoon. I was given a welcoming greeting by Robert who patiently answered all my questions. He ordered the part that I needed, said it would be in on Thursday morning, and added "we can probably help you install the part". When I picked up the part on Thursday, Robert was not working that day, however, Terry gladly stepped up to install the part for me. He was very polite and professional. 10 minutes later, the new tail-light assembly was installed in working order and I was on my way. Thank you Robert and Terry for the great customer service !! I will definitely return to AutoZone in the future. Highly recommended.I had another exceptional service experience at AutoZone this week (Feb 10 2020) . I needed a new battery for my truck. I called ahead - they had it in stock. I arrived and was helped immediately by Robert. Then, Nate installed the battery quickly and cleaned up the existing cables and area around the battery, all the while showing/telling me what he was doing and why. Efficient, quick, courteous, and professional service. I will be back again !!

Jhonel Resco was just so helpful and kind when I went in to get coolant. I had my baby with me and he opened the doors to assist me and checked under my hood for the coolant level. The next level service made my experience all the better- appreciate it!

My battery died and I needed a replacement. Good thing I had a warranty on it. It's awesome, because all of their locations computers are linked. I went in, told him my name a phone number, he grabbed the battery, took it out to my car, and even put it in for me. The customer service was amazing!

As one does, I came in for windshield wipers in the rain. Robert (I believe) was super friendly and helpful, not only finding the right blades for the best price, but also installing them for me despite the rain. He also showed me a sale on another item I was purchasing. Great service!

AutoZone I will never go back there again I paid for a part I went to go pick it up the next day and they said I didn't pay for I didn't pay for it they had no record of me buying it or even ordering it then I had to have a tow truck come and get me and they gave me the wrong address they would have put me down past Oak Park and they're on 1401 Grand Avenue so they weren't very helpful at all and it was at night when they were getting ready to close which I didn't really appreciate at all

The help was awesome. Went in to get windshield wipers and not only did the girl clerk show me where they were but also came out and installed the blades for me. Now that is real service.Thank you for caring in a world that their is to little of that going on.

This is such a horrible "business". I would recommend nobody to this place. I called in the day before to put a valve cover gasket on hold and the guy over the phone told me no problem and that it would be there on hold for up to 12 hours. The next day I go in around 9:30 and tell the guy my name and he can't find the part and doesn't have my name written down anywhere. He searched for about 10 minutes for the part with no luck. After already being frustrated, because this should have been a 5-minute in and out process I go to my car and get him the part number for the part I need. The young guy then find the gasket for me and precedes to check me out. I pay for my product with a debit card the guy tells me after I already put my card in the machine that the sale didn't go through and we have to do it on a different machine. I go over to the other machine and he tries to check me out again but instead of sticking my card in there I told him I'm going to check and make sure you didn't already charged me. When I went to go check my bank statement I was already charged the first time and he was going to try and charge me another time, but he said don't worry if we charge you a second time you can just come back in and we can refund your money. Good thing I checked my bank statement because I live in San Luis Obispo and it is not convenient for me to be driving back and forth. So after almost being charged two times for my part ,then I wanted a receipt and it took them about 5 minutes or more to figure out how to get me my receipt. Long story short it should have been a in and out process done within two to five minutes, it took me over 20 or 25 minutes to get what was already on hold for me, or was supposed to be on hold. The negligent manager was just standing there watching everything go down and was no help for the young guy that was trying to help me. Screw these guys don't waste your time like I did. Not the kind of businesses I support!
