Tom and his crew handle our personal and our company vehicles. From oil changes to brake jobs and whatever we brake. His crew is very helpful and honest as well as communicates with us through the whole process of our vehicles being in the shop. I highly recommend them

Normally when I walk into shops the guys are never nice to me or they assume I m stupid for being a girl but not here. Corey was so nice to me and made me feel reassured about my car. They called me on Monday and said they could have the battery I needed within an hour. It saved me so much stress. I haven't used Tom's shop in a few years with always a positive experience, only as I've used a different shop more local and convenient to me. I had two last minute repairs that I expected to be put off until the following week, and both times he was able to get me in and done the next day. Really good work without any mystery or surprises. Will start using them again without any hesitation. Thanks Tom and Kevin for taking care of me on such a short notice. Always great service.*update 2023I've serviced all of my vehicles and my family's vehicles at Tom's for about the past decade. Service has consistently been excellent and timely. We used to live in Auburn and I'd travel/get them towed to Tom's.I found Tom's at 18 by myself trying to figure out car stuff without any family support. There was no shame or rudeness from anyone at the fact that I never had any idea what I was talking about(which was honestly a huge fear). I appreciate the patience and honesty from those beginning days and that has continued through this morning when I accompanied my daughter to pick up her vehicle. It's just nice being confident in a business for once.They were just as kind to my car dumb kid as they were to me at the same age so that's appreciated enough to get me on google again to update ya'll

Disappointing. I have used Tom s multiple times over the years. Recommend them to others. Recently had $3,600 fuel injectors replaced on 1-ton work truck and the truck has not run correctly since. Went in person and asked Tom to test drive it with me. Explained it ran rough with low power at low RPM He proceeded to wind it up like a Corvette and said he drives like that. Asked him to put truck on computer to verify everything was ok with injectors. Asked him 3-times. He angrily asked me why I wanted to waste his time. (Because I just paid you $3,600.) Waited a couple weeks in case I had caught him on a bad day. Called today and said the truck still isn t running right and lost a ton of power since they worked on it. He said he s not interested in getting into the diesel power game. I will be going to GNT truck repair in Applegate even though it s a haul they are professional and also competent. Sorry you lost a customer and future referrals.

Had a tough electrical problem and was broke down. The tow truck driver highly recommended Tom's Car Care and now I completely understand why. In less than two hours, my truck was back on the road with little cost. It was a very complicated problem and I was surprised they had it resolved so quickly. My impression is that they are very good and knowledgeable with every kind of auto problem and are very professional, friendly, and honest. I'll never go anywhere else from now on.

I'm very happy with Tom's car care. Throughout my dealings with Tom he has earned my trust and continued business. It is a relief to have found a really good, honest mechanic. I highly recommend this place.

WOW! My day started out as a non-starter, literally, my car with a brand new battery just would not start. It was an I need a tow truck and possibly a therapist kind of morning after I was stranded at my kid s school with a huge $$ bill looming over my head. I called my car s primary care physician, and they couldn t take a look at it until minimum three days, possibly 8 days. Whaaaa?!?! So I called around, and all the places I knew offhand said I could leave it with them and they could hopefully take a look at it before the end of the week. Then, off the recommendation of a friend, we called Tom s. He sounded optimistic over the phone, like it may be something simple. He told us to drop it off and he d get to it within the next two days. Okay... well, that was the best offer we got so we drove out there and left the car. We got a call only a few hours later that he d already taken a look, and as he d suspected it was nothing more than some loose contacts that he d tightened up with no problems. I was able to pick up my car five minutes after that call. I cannot believe how respectful and efficient he was, and that with no prior relationship he cared enough to make it happen same day because he could. I will 100% be bringing my car back for future work, and I will be paying this recommendation forward whenever I can. Thanks Tom! Three kids in the country without a car would have been a nightmare - you really saved the day!!

Can't say enough about the customer service and quality of work we received from Tom's Car Care Center...It was truly amazing. After going 4-wheeling in our 2-wheel drive truck (not recommended) we had dislodged our exhaust manifold causing a long loud trip home. We noticed Tom's was still open even though it was after hours on a friday night. They put our truck up on the rack and fixed the exhaust, putting a really sweet weld on the manifold....and the price was beyond awesome. We are so impressed that we will be bringing our vehicles up 40 miles from Fair Oaks to get serviced. Thanks so much Tom's for the above and beyond service!

Brought my Si civic in to get the ac recharged but the condenser needed to be replaced. They replaced it and did it pretty quick. Tom is pretty nice and honest guy too.

I wanted to give kudos to Tom's Car Care. I honestly feel this may be one of the best automotive shops in town. My wife and I have been bringing our cars and diesel trucks in here for years. At times I will wait for my oil change and just watch the way TJ puts people before profit. TJ makes you feel like an old friend. I think he genuinely cares. The whole crew is very friendly. They are fast, efficient and know what they are doing. Thanks Tom's Car Care.

If I could give tom and his guys a 0 rating I would...horrible service .never called me back . Did a big job on my truck 4500$ worth of work . Wasn't until after I paid tom he says there might be frame damage , but hey I got a guy who can fix it for 500$ no problem .knowing there was frame damage they continued working..,not once warning me or asking if he thought they should continue. Being that there would be another huge job after around another 5-6thousand $... Being ppl that know cars I feel they completely took advantage of me and pulled a very shady move . No no no not recommended n the least ...tom is a shady individual .

This business is the best. I ve been ripped off by other shops from Roseville and Auburn. Tom and his crew have been honest, professional and very knowledgeable working on my vehicle. THANKS GUYS. UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER: I HAVE CONTINUED TO HAVE TOM WORK ON MY 4x4 TACOMA, AND THIS VEHICLE RUNS AND DRIVES VERY WELL. FOR THE MONEY, YOU CANT FIND A MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE SHOP IN THIS REGION. Shout out to Tom!I rolled up with a loud metal scrapping noise (thankfully was just a rock). Tom stopped what he was doing and serviced my car.I was surprised they were still open but they were working late- with a large work load.Tom still stopped and helped. Personable and caring.Ill be going back.

Brought my Mazda in because it is smoking bad in the morning and after sitting for another 8 hours. After leaving it over night they saw the problem and quoted me a price of $2500.00. When i got home i checked the dip stick and there was no oil at all on it, I can't be leave they never even checked the oil even after i told them that it has been burning oil. NOT COOLService: General repairs & maintenance

They said I had metal in the AC line and had to replace everything quoted at 1600$. Had it done by other mechanic with no metal in line for a few hundred dollars. They also said I had several other issues with huge quotes. Not to mention they had my vehicle for three full days before even looking at it. They seemed surprised when I told them someone else had just looked it over. Wasted a half week of my life and we're trying to make thousands off me to fix an older vehicle. Last time I'll go there.

I wish there was an option to give no stars, I definitely would.. one of the mechanics Derek, tried to tell me my car wasn t fast. Which I don t know why that is a thing you tell a costumer, me being 16 at the time with my car which I loved and worked hard for.. I did not appreciate that, you being a old man talking down on a kid? That s ridiculous. Now I am 18 I just came back here to write a review because truly, terrible service and all around bad experiences every time I have been. And I have been there multiple times spending over 6k at this shop, not just saying this over a one time bad experience

Great service... needed a muffler welded up on my truck. The shop Foreman fit me in at the last minute and got the job done. Price was good!!! Way under $100. I highly recommend this shop.

TJ and his team take very good care of our vehicles. He always greets us with a friendly smile, and his professionalism along with his honesty and knowledge keeps us happy customer's that would never find any other repair facility to work on our vehicles!
