I have been taking my vehicles to Foothill car care for over 10 years.Their service is always one of excellence. The technicians pay attention to details and consistently point out things for me to be aware of. The vehicle is completed on time as promised and at the price estimated.Several times, they found issues for which they referred me back to the dealership because of items covered by warranty.This is a company of integrity.

I recently moved to the area and needed a local shop to help take care of my Hyundai Veloster. My car has some miles on it and was purchased used, and its getting to that point where it needs some extra attention. I'm not a "car person" so I ask a lot of questions to make sure I am making informed decisions. Everyone has taken the time to explain my options, and what could happen if I don't tend to various service needs of my vehicle. No one has made me feel like my extra questions are a bother to them which I really appreciate about going there. I've worked with them on a number of items to keep my car healthy, and they've always provided top notch service with a quick turn around. Highly recommended.

As a customer of Foothill Car Care, I feel like family. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and committed to providing the best care they can. On several occasions they've given me an unexpected discount on services.I've also found them to be 100% honest about necessary vs. unnecessary repairs. For example, when I had a car into the dealer for recall work, they said I should have a timing gasket cover replaced to the tune of $1500. I took the car to Foothill Car Care for a second opinion and they said (a) the "repair" wasn't really necessary and (b) even if it was, the easiest way to fix the problem was nothing more than a piece of tape which would cost maybe $15. Foothill Car Care has been tending to my elderly (2004) Mazda for the past seven years. Thanks to them, it's still running beautifully after 200,000 miles. Larry is really knowledgeable and helpful, Kevin is extremely effective with communicating additional needs with your car, and the whole staff are super friendly. They did quick smog appointments. And, recently, I needed a starter, and they ordered the part first thing in the morning. My car was towed in by late morning, and they had her ready by the following day. We'll definitely be coming back for future needs.

This shop is great for our Toyota Prius C and for a Nissan Leaf, fully electric. They can diagnose, explain any repairs needed, get the parts, navigate warranties and aftermarket parts, no problem. We have been happy to bring both of our cars for 5K service and for repairs when needed!

They took really good care of me.I chose to get my overheating problem diagnosed and fixed here because they could see me right away and they were confident they could have me up and running by the end of the day. And that they were across the street from NAPA, so they didn't have to wait too long on parts.They were up front with the cost.I would have thought the problem was a thermostat or water pump.They ran the coolant system through a pressure test and found a leak out of a side panel of the engine. Replacing the gasket on the side panel fixed the problem. The one hour diagnosis was the correct decision, despite the cost.Needless to say, I'll become a repeat customer.

We are locals, our review is genuine.My experience was exhausting. The shop should have been honest about their ability to properly work on my car. They do not have the correct equipment.I brought it in for a transfer case and radiator. Every time FCC phoned, they found more issues. 11 weeks ( 2 weeks waiting on parts ) and multiple return trips. Water leaking, gears grinding after they replaced the radiator and transfer case....oh, and an OEM coil pack they broke and replaced it with aftermarket part that was left sitting on the motor - not even fastened down. We showed the mechanic along with the dripping water and grinding gears.It still leaks and so do our valves covers which they replaced.What a mess. We were trying to support our local business.Now we have to take our car to the dealership for them to inspect the work that was done by FCC as well as reset the parameters.Things got so bad in that shop, Kevin (owner) fired the service techs in the front (blaming them) over the mechanics issues in the back.Save yourselves the headache and just drive by or get towed somewhere else.
