We have used this store for various needs through the years. All members of our family have always been treated kindly. The employees at this store are super helpful. We sent our senior, female friend to them this week to get a new battery after hers died. They took great care of her, were kind and respectful. In this day and age it is so nice to go to a store where people are nice and helpful. Thank you Autozone!

Manager was kinda rude and pushy, she needs a lesson in customer service. Didn't even had me the product. If you don't like your job then find another one.

Always have what I need or they get it the next day. Even directed me to the website to order a part and have it delivered for free!

Don't believe the online prices or availability. They are 30% higher cost than the online price says. The employees know this but don't care. No one cares about the high prices, including Auto Zone. Tomorrow it will cost more than today.

Had a complicated return to do, Nora, the manager, was exemplary in helping my son work through things. Then, going above and beyond, they also helped him install the part that needed to be installed. So grateful for people who think customer service is still important these days! Thank you :-)

AutoZone, Grass Valley, saved our trip over the mountain. The old truck hadn't been challenged in hills like those for awhile, and I hadn't had her long enough to know exactly what "normal" was, but I got pretty concerned when the Engine Temp light came on. We pulled over to cool off, and I noticed the fan would roar to life from a stop and cool her down pretty quick. Between that and the internet, it didn't take long to suspect the fan clutch. I found the front coil was filthy, so I brushed it and tried to go again, but no change. The fan still wasn't engaging while underway, so we limped into Grass Valley under the hot evening sun and started looking for help. Thank goodness the first place we found was the AutoZone.Jarred (and a sharp AutoZone delivery driver) helped confirm my diagnosis of a bad fan clutch, and then explained my options, laying out a path that would get me back on the road the next day, which was July 4. It just happened that Jarred had replaced a fan clutch on a very similar truck, so he knew it could be done using AutoZone rental tools. He patiently heard and addressed my concerns from lack of experience, and he said I could use the parking lot to make my repair. Jarred even had advice on a safe hotel to stay in and park our loaded truck. He was my hero that night.I was impressed that they were open at all, but the fan clutch I ordered at 7:30 the night before was in by 9:00, on a holiday. And that's where Nora came in, as the kindest, most helpful person I've met at a parts store. She explained the rental process, which was a new concept to me, and when I came in to buy a small socket set, she offered me their store tool box, a cardboard box with an assortment of drives and sockets (sorry AutoZone). After reading horror stories on the internet of fan clutches gone wrong, I set upon the task with rented tools and borrowed sockets. Fortunately, the old fan clutch gave up without much fight, and installing the new one was straight forward. I shudder to think of what could have gone wrong, but it felt good knowing that I had supportive people inside that building full of parts and tools. It was going to get done, one way or another. The old girl was buttoned up by 11:00, and it all went so well that even this setback felt like a pretty good way to start our trip - with an accomplishment and some new friends. Of course, that feeling didn't really sink in until we safely reached the summit, but she ran SO much cooler all the way there and back. It's reassuring now to hear the roar of that big old fan, and to see stable gauges when it's hot out.We just wanted to thank AutoZone from the bottom to the top. You guys all did a great job for us.

I stopped into the store to get new windshield wiper blades. And that was an easy purchase then I service rep there Kolt helped a lady put windshield wipers on her car and when I asked him to help me he helped me sort it out and saved me a good 20 minutes of time. Great service thanks. Easy location in the Safeway Shopping Center.

I've shopped in AutoZone stores across the country and I have to say that this location in Grass Valley is the best one! They are always helpful and bend over backwards to help find a part or handle a return even if the error was my fault.Great management at this location and they generally have everything I need in stock.

Quality parts and always bend over backwards for anyone, doesn't matter who you are. I have an actual commercial account and sometimes I go into the store for parts, I always see them treating everyone else just as good as they treat me.(not that I'm better than anyone else,)

Came in a few weeks ago, wanted to thank the helpful staff. I believe his name was Logan, I was having a hard time finding which brand of oil is best for my car and opening my oil cap. He was very honest and willing to answer any questions. Would come back to this location! Very clean store and easy to find products.

If I could leave negative stars I would. Took back a battery we bought 2 days prior, to which I was told "sorry I can't do anything for you." Showed him the receipt which had the warranty on it and was told that they don't take back batteries over a year old. We bought the battery used 2 DAYS AGO because we were guaranteed it was good. He rudely told me, sorry, nothing I can do, then when I showed him the warranty AGAIN on the receipt, "well, you'll have to come back and talk to the manager." So, I asked him to call him. Then, he suddenly was able to refund me but not without, "what do you want me to do, (uh, duh)- all I can do is give you a refund." (Yes, that's what I wanted.) To which he replied, "well you didn't tell me that, how should I know what you want." Unfortunately for him, he didn't even refund me what was on the receipt. ( in my favor) SUPER RUDE, seems to greatly hate his job. I left without buying another battery which I was going to spend $250 on, mostly because he threw the money in my hand and moved to the next register without asking me if I needed another battery. Sad when we try to shop local and keep the money here that we get service like this.

Worst customer service experience ever. Nora is one of the most rude people I have ever met. I waited 35 mins for her to finally help me and still blew me off. After so long she finally acknowledged me and said if I didn't like it I could go somewhere else. She continued to ignore me and help other customers. I'll never come back to that autozone ever again.

Not much inventory, and they have an unhappy, grouchy, old woman running the store? She is rude and offensive, and makes scenes with employees and customers in the store by yelling across the isle. Avoid

I came into their store looking for a gasket for my old tired truck. I received immediate help and with much searching on line and in their inventory the part was found. The were courteous, helpful, respectful of my ignorance and most of all wearing masks. I wish I could say that for some, not all of your customers. Hope they can stay healthy and open.

If you know what you want and the price is good, this is the place to be. If you need help in determining what product you need or getting your battery check, this is not the place to be. First I was told that my battery was ok and that I needed a starter. So I purchased a starter and took it to my mechanic. Came to find out it was my battery. The mechanic felt bad and didn't charge me labor and gave me a discount. It was easy to return the starter so no issues with returning to AutoZone. Then I purchased snow chains, after waiting 20 minutes we got the chains and left. Got to the place where we needed to put them on and they didn't fit. We had to purchase additional chains. But, like I said before easy to return. They staff is very nice and helpful but for me, they just couldn't help me the first time around. I will return but only when I know what I need.

Went in this morning to get wiper blades and the sales guy Bear was very helpful. He helped me pick out the correct wiper blades for my car. The rest of the guys who were working were also great.

I needed to replenish a fuse and a brake light and was pleased to have excellent and quick customer service. The manager even replaced the bulb for me - so helpful. Thanks for your kindness.

It was horrible. No customers except me and my girlfriend. We got car mats that were under a tag that said 14.99 he said it was 39 dollars. We informed him all the tags above all those mats said 14.99. He said I believe you but it's wrong. Nobody moved to check or change the tags. I went back over and we were sure we got the right ones for 14.99 again.... Nope. So we said heck with it and paid 25 dollars. There were no 25 dollar signs anywhere near them. I work in retail and if we have product marked wrong we honor it. I won't go back

Oh man, I can't say enough good things about the auto shop. I've been having my vehicles serviced there for years and have never had a negative experience. I go there for my regular oil changes and they rotate my tires and check my vehicle from top to bottom and make sure it's safe all the fluids are full and it's ready for the road. I've always feal with Rusty but everyone is awesome. He recognizes my voice when I call, that's the kind of personal attention you get at the auto shop. All their work is guaranteed and you can't go wrong. Always a great deal, never been overcharged and I highly recommend their business.

Fast and friendly service, stock on hand is usually extensive and helpful. Pricing is average. They have some of everything it seems as well as vehicle specific parts. I just purchased a fuse replacement kit and also tools I needed, took no time at all to find what I needed and check out at the counter. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

Looked online, called to confirm they had a particular battery in stock, which was a great price.. At least 30% cheaper than anywhere else. The lady I spoke to said they didn't have that one in stock, but they had the next step up with more cold cranking amps at tge same price. Drove over and bought it. What a deal!

They were prompt getting my online order ready. Easily canceled one order and were very friendly about answering all my questions. Ordered stuff over the phone a few months back and they made it easy to get ready and pick up. One part coming from Sac so had to wait only a short time to get it.

When I asked if they matched prices the answer I got was well it all depends on what it is. eventually I was able to show them that another retailer had the product I wanted for several dollars cheaper and they did end up matching it but not without a snotty attitude. I would have asked for a manager but it was the manager I was dealing with.
