TLDR: AVOID this dealership. Do not make the same mistake I did.I'm honestly ashamed I purchased a car from these people. Both people I spoke to, Mark and Patrick, were short with me, rude, were quick to hang up the phone, and would look me dead in the eye and say an issue with the car wasn't an issue. The left turn signal, for example, doesn't work properly and Patrick told me to "just wiggle it and it'll come on". Also after I purchased the vehicle, a 2002 4Runner, the sunroof started LEAKING and the dome light stopped working.Avoid this dealership at all costs. Do not make the same mistake that I did. The cars sold here, and the people that sell them, are dubious at best and criminal at worst.

Looked high and low for a good Dodge Ram Cummins 2500 pickup for towing a horse trailer and wasn't happy with anything we found locally. I expanded the search area and found what we wanted at Autovalue. It was a one owner, dealership maintained 2012 Laramie Long Horn Edition in excellent condition. The CarFax report showed a flawless history. Patrick was a pleasure to work with and he made the purchase process easy. We have had the truck for a week all is well.

So happy i read the reviews before wasting my time going up to grass valley or worse purchasing a lemon. I also was interested in the 2002 Sienna (lol) not so much anymore after reading that.My husband had called and asked about their financing that is all over their ad, and the owner was very rude and said he expected cash because the price was so low...now i can understand why a dealer wouldn't want to finance a cheap car but literally this was literally copy and pasted directly from the title of their ad"2002 Toyota Sienna - In-House Financing Available!"maybe don't advertise it if you don't want people asking...just a thought?

Easiest car buying experience ever! We found the truck online and called to inquire about it. Patrick was very helpful. We set an appointment to go test drive the truck. Everything worked out great, the buying process was very smooth and quick! We will definitely consider them in the future and refer all of our friends!

I drove all the way from Oakland, Ca (286miles, roundtrip) on Patrick's word that he had a 2002 Sienna that was in good shape and had already passed SMOG. I arrived with my mechanic and an OBD 2 scanner, to run the on-board diagnostic(OBD) tests required when you visit a Star-certified SMOG testing station. Upon reading the tests it appeared the battery terminals had been disconnected to reset the vehicles check engine light and more than half of the tests were in the "incomplete" phase, meaning the car had not been driven after reset long enough to finish the necessary diagnostics. (Sketchyyyy) He even suggested that we "drive it for 15 minutes and see that the light will not turn on", which is never the case. It takes 50-100 miles of various types of driving to fully run the tests and compute a result. Not only was the motor already warm which suggests he tested his 15 minute theory but immediately there was white smoke coming out of the exhaust, suggesting that oil and coolant are mixing somewhere. I wish I could have trusted him. However, after reading Subaru Guy's review, I knew that even if there wasn't anything wrong with the van (which there definitely was) I would be totally on my own the second I drove it off the lot. Be weary, this guy clears codes and claims to know "all about the cars" despite having bought them at an auction and if you ask him about the white smoke or the cleared codes he will close the hood in your face and tell you "good luck".

No stars for this place but can t do zero. I will also note buying a used car during covid is risky. I bought a 1998 Suburu Impressa in April from this guy for my son who just got his license and paid high blue book but it s had problems from the get go. It says only has 124,000 miles but I don t believe that now either with the issues we ve been having. They represented since they have a shop that it was all checked out . We showed them oil leak after test drive but they said it was a spill from over filling the power steering fluid and mechanic came out and wiped it off (It came back). We also told them it felt like there was an issue with the brakes or something. They said brakes were ok. I am not a mechanic and we went with it since my son wanted the car (my fault). It kept making noice after we bought it and didn t feel/drive right so we brought to schwab and they said brakes were ok but issue was the suspension, struts and sway bar links and cost over $800 to repair. We brought it back to autovalue about a week later to see if they would help like they promised but they just bs ed their way out of any assistance what so ever (again my fault being a hand shake kind of guy and not doing my due diligence). The car has been sitting in our driveway leaking oil ever since even though we ve hardly driven it with the covid situation. My son has been bummed out about the oil leak so we brought it to Aamco today and they identified the oil link as a rupture in main rear oil seal and $700+ to repair. I m a grown up and have bought many cars and should have known better to check it out on our own before we bought it but it s not easy with covid and my son really wanted the car at that moment and I f-ed up and trusted the dude...I shouldn t have and I regret it. I definitely feel like an idiot believing if there were any issues they would make it right or at least meet me half way. If they would have done anything to stand by their word that the car was all checked out and help us out even a little bit I wouldn t have written this but we got screwed and I wanted to warn the community. I don t recommend buying anything from Autovalue used cars in Grass Valley CA and buyer beware.

I had the most pleasant auto purchasing experience ever when I bought my van from Patrick at AutoValue. He was incredibly helpful and sold me a beautiful '16 Toyota Sienna :).
