Took my 78 Dodge for a smog test, They did a quick check, and saved me the time and money, since it needed repairs to pass. Nice people. Been going there since the 80s.

Arch's, thank you. You are not by appointment, and watching you do everything possible to smog the vehicle in front of me- a vehicle perhaps as old as mine if not older- made my wait worth it. So Grateful!

These folks are great. Went in for a smog test, failed, bummer. They explained to me visually and verbally what the problem was. Of course during rhe repair process more things came up. My Jeep is a 2004 runs great but occasionally things come up. Again went through the process with me and together we decided what needed immediate attention and what we could wait to do. Thank you to Kevin.

I was sold a part that didn't need replacement because he "didn't like the way it looked " He failed a smog test for that, before he even tested it. Then he tested it anyway and offered to charge more to replace a boot that was not leaking. We smoke tested it and it passed at another shop. Go anywhere else for a smog.

I brought my 2004 VW Jetta in for smog. I had to wait quite some time before the 2 people in front of me were finished. When my turn came, it took them a full 45 minutes before they were done. This may have been because the main person seemed to be training someone, not sure. They really investigated. Although the emissions passed, it ended up being failed for 'visual inspection' due to a vacuum hose with electrical tape on it as a fix for a cracked hose. This was located UNDER the plastic cover on top of the engine, which they had to remove. Overall would not recommend for an older vehicle.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Auto emissions testing

When I pulled up at 12:15pm, I asked where to park and if they did smogs, he said yeah you'll have to find a parking spot, then abruptly told me he's closed for lunch ave he'll be back at 1:00pm and just took off. I was the only person there. I'm sorry, if it were my shop, I would have been a lot warmer and said something like..." Oh yeah no problem, the only thing is I'm closed for lunch butt I'll get to you first thing when I get back if that's ok" then "Thanks so much see you soon" singling like b that...i would have done the smog first then went to lunch, so I didn't lose paying customers. I guess they are not worried about losing business. When someone else pulled up I asked the guy, who was still there, working on a truck, if there was a sign- in sheet or something I could sign you hold my spot. He said no, it was first come first serve. I told him yeah that I had been there first and he just shrugged at me and told me that I better park where in the line starts, which I wasn't told about when dude abruptly took off, that basically whoever parks there first will be the one who is served first, no matter who was actually there first...REALLY!? Super aloof and nonchalant about it all...didn't care one way or the other. Maybe they had more important things to do, IDK but the poor customer service was off-putting.

Took my 31 year old car there to get inspected and smogged and it passed beautifully and had some good small talk with some of the staff as well about cars and they are very nice and friendly and knowledgeable. This will be the place I bring all my older cars

I've been bringing my cars here for years. I've never been dissatisfied. Kevin will take time to answer any of my car questions even when they don't involve repairing my vehicle. Honest and reliable are two adjectives that come to mind.

I've used this family business for thirty years, and they regularly go above and beyond what is expected. They've worked me in to the schedule in an emergency. The've taken me to work or home when needed while they worked on my car. If a problem was unresolved - rarely happens - they follow through and make sure I am satisfied. Prices are not the cheapest, but they are fair, they don't pad their estimates with extras and they earn every penny.

They have worked on our car several times and have always been honest and up front about the work done and price. Have all our smog tests done there. Go between the 10th and 20th of the month, they are fast.

Kevin, Kim and all the guys at Arch's are top notch. I've been bringing my vehicles there for over 25 years. Whether you need major or minor mechanics, or anything in between, they can handle the job. Oil changes with free tire rotation and even smog service. They're all in one. Check em out!!

Very friendly and knowledgeable shop! My work van broke down on Highway 20 and I was in a pinch. They fixed it and had me back on the road in very little time! I would definately recommend Arch's to anybody looking for a reputable , professional Auto Repair Shop!

Kevin, Kim, and Brendan are personable, caring, and hard working. Archs' smog service is top-notch. Been an Archs customer since 2010. Not happy the vehicle has issues now and then, but comforted that Archs is there to fix it. Thank you!!

Art is a great guy. No worries on service, they even pump your gas and do the windshield.
