The place is called Reasonable Muffler. He wanted 1100 dollars for a catalytic converter replacement on a 04 Chevy Tahoe. When I had already had a quote from Sun Muffler in Anahiem Ca. That is not even remotely reasonable if you ask me. The first quote I had was 650.

Great experience with Jose. He is an old school guy, and quickly diagnosed the issue with a bit of hose up to his ear. Cut out the part that was leaking and welded in the new resonator.

This guy took care of my car right away and did a great job. I ran something over on the freeway and ripped my tail pipe and knocked my muffler off alignment. I had other quotes up to $1100 and 4 day lead times. He got it done in 2 hours and only charged $150. Very honest and i cant complain about the price.

Went here to do a muffler delete. Price was a little lower than what other shops charge and I can say i was very satisfied with the results especially mine was a walk in. Done on the spot. Will come back here for anything muffler related.

Great place, great prices for what you need involving exhaust. If he doesn't have what you need in stock he will get it for you in a few days depending on the item, turn around time is fast. Great guy worker/owner, been coming for years for different vehicles. Highly recommended.

SOUNDS TOO GOOD THAT IT'S FAKE, BUT TRUEI'm not in the habit of posting reviews unlike at Amazon where they send you an email to solicit your reviews and it's so easy. This time I really have to go back and look where I found this muffler shop and post this review for the benefit of others as most of us know, these reviews are mostly FAKE and are from friends or relatives. I met Joe for the first time last week when I took my ML500 to find out what the sudden noise underneath the driver's side for what sounds like a broken exhaust pipe. I went to his shop one late afternoon close to closing time and a dirty old man with tattered shirt came out. I told him what my problem was and he asked me to drive into one of the bays. As he was preparing to close, he had to drive out a car that was being kept in the shop over the night. H e raised me SUV and found what the problem was - a broken catalytic converter. I asked him for a quote on a generic one having had a previous experience of taking a converter replacement at a dealer and I was quoted for more than it costs to replace the car. Joe looked up the model and said $200. Since I was not impressed with how he looked like, even after I ascertained that he was the owner, I told him that I would check what day to bring back since it would take a few hours to do the job but really so I could check around for prices. I called my trusted mechanic in Rowland Heights who was honest enough to tell me that he doesn't do mufflers and to call his friend across the street. I call his shop and talked to someone who spoke like he was the owner and asked me to bring the car so he could look at it. I prevailed on him that I live in Glendora and I would like to have an idea before bringing the car. He said that there are 4 converters for the car, 2 in-line and one on each side. I tole him its the driver's side and the second one. He said it around $480 and he would replace both as in his experience when one goes bad, the other will go bad later. I told him that I would look at a day I can bring the car and would call first so he can order the part. But I've made a decision that I'm not gonna replace a part which has not gone bad and I just as well have the next owner of the car replace it when I sell the car. I then went back to Glendora market and looked for another shop. I called the next one up on Google and told him the same story. Just like Joe he recommended replacing only the bad unit and quoted me $350. By this time,I was convinced that dirty Joe was the right guy. I called him and the shop was closed so I left him a message to order the part. He called me back the next day and he asked me to come to the shop that afternoon. He installed the new converter and assured me that he uses American parts as opposed to those which his competitors use. While waiting as his shop I noticed that he has Christ's Last Supper on the wall and I was impressed that he was not afraid to lose business to the much secularized Californians who are anti-religion. I may not have a chance to use him again as even my last visit to one, was years ago on a car that I had already sold but I would like others to have a good experience as I had with a good an honest guy like Joe. Tell him I referred you and he may not remember who I am but tell him the guy with the gold mercedes suv.

Stopped by to have a piece welded on my tow dolly and they charged me $60 for about 4" of weld, ugly welds too. I was far from home so had to get it done but I'll never go back or recommend them.

Very satisfied with the work,,, Rainy knows exactly what s he doing,, had my muffler put on on 35 minutes,, the charging was very reasonable,,Very nice personality,,,, come to this shop for mufflerProblems,,,, always,,, m Tony thanks rainy
