Always my first stop when I have car problems. Mike is personable and his crew know their stuff. The staff are in contact with you for all the steps. Good experience every time.

One of the best-run and respectable auto repair shops in the valley, probably eastern LA county. They are decent and honest, don't tell too many people! I like that they are close-by, yet I'd be willing to drive miles to get my wheels serviced with Martin and the staff.

If you have a BMW or Mercedes and you don't want to pay what dealer's charge but want good auto macanics this is the place to go reasonably priced and about as fast as you can get

Taken all my vehicles here for work. Always do a good job and quick to work on your vehicle.UPDATE: My tailgate was picked off of my truck and no body shops gave me quotes for the install of a new one. Martin said he could handle it and he did for a very good price.UPDATE: Did a head and valve job on my 2.7 tacoma after it started dying out around 240k. The Toyota dealership basically tried to scam me by saying that they couldn't find a cause for my AC not kicking on and that they would first try to replace the compressor for $1,000 but if that didn't fix the issue then it would be more. Mind you this was in the middle of summer. I stated I would take my car to an independent shop and I brought it to Michael's. They performed a full leak down test with UV dye and once they knew it wasn't leaking they filled it up with freon and just like that my AC was blowing ice cold again and for a very reasonable price. I'm very very satisfied with their service and they have gained my trust.Service: Air conditioning

Have been going to Michaels for many years as well as many of my family members. Martin continues to provide the same excellent service as when Michael owned it. Martin is honest and trustworthy, he provides fair and reasonable prices for car repairs.

I have been coming here for almost 10 years. I stumbled upon this place through the original owner who always donated to local military fund raisers. The owner has since passed. Martin worked there and now he owns it with his wife and children.I have a 2003 vehicle and I do my best to take care of her. I have always trusted Martin with "Lucy". He has NEVER added work that didn't need to be done or overcharge for. If more than one thing needs to be done, he tells me what order to do them in to help me stay on budget.My car is 19 years old and she is still going strong because of Martin and his crew. They do honest work in a timely manner and always with such kindness. Martin is always happy to see you again and speaks to everyone with above average respect. It's clear that he appreciate your business and for these reasons, as long as I own a car - Michael's Auto Repair will forever be my mechanic.I'd like to add that it's nice to see his family involved in the business. His daughters help drive customers to and from work and his wife oversees the office. Martin was AMAZING!! I brought my minivan in (because it was open on a Saturday) and he shared with me that my car is still under warranty and to take it to the dealer. He is trustworthy and honest. Thank you Martin!!!

Martin is awesome!! I had to have my car serviced for Rack & pinion replacement. I shopped around at least 4 different auto shops, and Martin's quote came in the lowest. Not only is the pricing reasonable and with in my budget, quality work is outstanding! I'm very grateful for his honesty. He explained what work had to be done, why it should be fixed, showed me the old parts after he fixed the car. No one else would do that. This proves he takes pride in his work and knows the importance of safety on the road for everyone. Recently I was going on a trip and the pressure on my tires were low. I went in to Mikes auto, Martin quickly checked the air pressure. Without me asking, he checked the oil, water and other liquids. He went the extra to make sure my car was safe to be on the road. His family is sweet and very hospitable, thank you!! I've recommended friends and family and all have been to Mikes auto and left happy. They too have recommended others. Thank you Martin!! I purchased a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 from a local car dealer and Martin over at Michael's Auto Repair not only did he review the truck for me from bumper to bumper but also saved the life of my truck in so many ways. I have never been able to say with confidence that I completely trust a mechanic not only with any of my vehicles but with my family, friends and co-workers as well. I brought my car in fror transmission trouble in which he could have fixed and charged me an arm and a leg but he ran diagnostics and told me that I had a 150,000 mile warranty and to bring it back to the dealership so they could fix it for free. And they did! Saved me a ton of money. Very honest! This shop knows how to conduct business and they are now my number 1 go to mechanics!!! I highly recommend Service: Transmission

I have been using Michael's Auto Repair for 5+ years now to service all my vehicles, and Michael and his crew are the best mechanics around. Michael has always given me the best prices, and is honest. My whole family uses him for all their service work and any repair work. I even have friends who have started using him, and always refer people to him. They may be hard to call sometimes because there are usually in shop working, but just stop by, there is always someone there willing to help.

I just got in from AZ and sons car needed brakes, last thing I wanted to do. This is a Great shop, Martin was very helpful when taking my sons Jeep in for front pads and rotors. Topped off fluids and even adjusted rear brakes and prices were very fair.

Great place to service your vehicle in Glendora it s Family owned the wife is nice and makes sure your taken care of. If you have questions they have answers and great recommendations. They recommend you to business that do the work with out feeling over priced and super honest .

I seriously need to get the word out on how HONEST this business is. As a woman, needing service done is always a stressful thing because we are easily taken advantage of. Well not at Michaels.My mom took her car in because of her service light, and after diagnostics my mom was called and notified. Not just notified what they thought the problem was, but that he believed her car should be under warrantee. My mom couldn't believe it because she purchased the vehicle used. He then went as far as to contact the Chevy dealer FOR my mom, made her an appointment and let them know what he thought.NOW THAT IS A HONEST COMPANY!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I found this place on google and have had nothing but great experiences the owner Martin and his team are so nice and good workers. And fast service!!! Michael s Auto Repair offers great staff service they explain in detail what is wrong with your car and also how they are going to fix it. They also offer you the best low price possible and they fix your car as soon as possible. So if you are looking for a place to fix your car that exceed your expectations I would highly recommend this place.

I had issues passing my smog test for over 2 1/2 months. I took it to a mechanic in Alhambra first who nickled and dimed me and did not fix the problem although I showed him the document from the first smog test results (OBD ii sensor/catalyst). I took my car a second time to a smog center in Glendora (Quicky smog) the nice attendant looked at the invoice from the first mechanic and test my car on the smog test device (the sensors still did not reset). He referred me to MIchael's Auto Repair and said ask for Martin. I talk to Martin showed him my invoice from the previous mechanic/work and results from the smog test center. He could not believe how I was taken advantage of by the first mechanic and what I was charged (not relevant to issues with smog). Martin of Michael's Auto Repair fixed my car within 2 hours and when I return to pick my up my car, he had it smogged/provided proof of smog test/passing and fix the issues/sensor problem and his price was reasonable/yet affordable I am beyond grateful for Martin's help and honesty. He is professional, honest and ethical. He just gained a new customer , I will definitely return for all my car service needs. Martin will get the job done! I definitely recommend Michae's Auto Repair to others.

Had a great experience here today. Got my alternator replaced quickly and for a great price. When I came to pick up the car I was surprised to see they had also washed it and shined the tires up. Will definitely come back in the future. *****

Watch out for this mechanic as it is No Longer owned by Michael. Martine is the New Owner & all of the Repairs were done with USED Parts & I found out after I decided to see what was going on & found the parts used had Highlighter Marker with a Date on them which Signafies a Used PartServices: Electrical repair, Engine repairServices: Electrical repair, Engine repair

I was unable to smog my car for 6 months. Brand new 2019 Honda Odyssey!! After taking it to numerous dealerships and getting corporate involved, (who refused to help and take responsibility) I found this shop online and decided what do I have to lose. Welllll 2 hours later, my 6 month nightmare came to an end! Martin had my car fixed and finally able to pass smog. He charged me a fair amount to fix the problem... by the way if you ever have your obdii/ egr sensors not ready- it's a simple software reset. That's it. I cannot believe such a large company could not figure it out.. but I am ever so thankful I found such a trustworthy establishment. They have earned my business and if I ever have another car issue, I am bringing my car back here!!

One of the most honest mechanics around! And you get more then you except. Honestly think Martin fixed more then I needed without charging me. I can't be certain but I went in for a oil change, left and my AC started working when it didn't before....
