Derek and his team are awesome mechanics and tell you when you don't need to get work done to your car and tell you what you'll need to do in the short and long term. I wish I would have known about this place since I moved here to Covina/Glendora area back in 2012. This place is my new mechanic moving forward.

The folks at Glendora Import Specialist really lived up to their name, helping rebuild a rare1985 Toyota LN65 Turbo Diesel. They were the only shop in Southern California willing to take on this long-term engine rebuild. Dustin, Derrick, and Kris were absolutely exceptional at providing updates throughout the process; communicating where they were sourcing parts from, when they would be delivered, and other milestones related to putting the engine back together. They took great care to document every step by keep precise records and photographing the entire process. This team is beyond exceptional and went well out their way to assure me that progress was being made and that my questions were answered. Engine rebuilds can be a finicky task and when there were issues, Glendora Import honored their warranty at no cost to me whatsoever, replacing the oil seal and getting me back on the road in no time. The engine is doing wonderful and the turbo purrs like a kitten. Thank you, Glendora Import Specialist for taking the time to get the job done right! I highly recommend them! 5 years later and the Toyota engine is still running strong.

My family could not say enough terrific things about Glendora Imports. We take all of our cars there and trust they are being serviced at the highest of quality. Every time we have an issue, Kristen and her staff advise us of the best and most economical way to fix the problem. They serve with honesty and integrity. While driving to work in the morning, the check engine light started flashing. I got to work and called Glendora Imports. I have had several of my vehicles serviced by them and they have always done a great job. I took my car to them that day; they diagnosed the problem and had it fixed and ready to go by the next day. Thanks for another great job, Glendora Imports!!

I have been going here for a LONG time........one absolute thing I can say....without a doubt......without bias or prejudice......if you need work done on your vehicle, whether domestic or import, and you want an honest diagnosis and estimate...........please COME HERE!! They will tell you exactly what is needed and how important the repair may be, i.e. whether it needs to be completed right then right there or maybe down the road, all the while treating you fairly and making you feel like the utmost important customer at hand! There hasn't been a vehicle I have owned or worked on myself that I wouldn't trust them with at all!!! Amazing customer service, amazing attentiveness, and pricing.

Glendora imports is reliable. Never had a problem with this shop.They tell you things straight up and with an explanation and what s recommended . I come here for oil changes maintenance and repairs.I decided to look into Glendora imports to do my engine swap on my 2003 Subaru Impreza r.s automatic. I don t regret it at all. they did a really good job on it extremely satisfied.the car runs smooth no problems. But even before Glendora imports swapped out the engine. I got my engine third party from a JDM engine company. they check the engine compatibility for the specs. Like that I don t have problems down the road.Checked the engine to see if it was in good shape. definitely fantastic job.Just be patient let them do their thing and they won t disappoint. took them three weeks I got updates every time it got closer to finishing the engine swap no problem explaining what they were doing and how it was coming along.I definitely recommend this place.Kris And Derek are trustworthy people.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Oil change

The staff were really nice, especially Chris. Very helpful to answer my questions. It took them an hour so to fix my a/c which other places told me will take like 3-4hrs. Will definitely come back to have them service my old car.Service: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

If you can t afford the dealership or an auto policy that will cover your car in case it does break down GLENDORA IMPORT is where you should be going. I have been with Glendora Import for some time and have been satisfied every time. The work is top notch and the staff is simply fantastic.You need work done on your car GLENDORA IMPORT should be your first stop because I know you will never ever go anywhere else.

This has been my go to place for years, and I continue to come here even though I haven't lived in the area for 10 years. It's worth driving a few extra miles to have my car serviced by people I trust. Never any up selling or push for unnecessary repairs. Always appreciate them accomodating my oil changes on short notice.

I DRIVE FROM MAYWOOD TO HAVE MY VEHICLE TAKEN CARE OF HERE. That should say it all, but I have trusted this shop for years, and they have never let me down. There's a reason I keep coming back: TRUSTWORTHINESS!

They are getting sloppy w there work no longer go there had take it to dealer after they dealt w it. ....Actually kris I was a loyal customer for over 10 years. Your son gives great customer service. I even appreciate the female worker you have their as I stand for equality. I have been in there plenty of times waiting for my car as you get In N out every Saturday. I thank you for the many years. Glendora Import Specialists is the ABSOLUTE BEST!Was referred to them nearly 20 years ago by a co-worker and once I experienced how great they are in ALL aspects, I have never gone anywhere else for maintenance or repairs on any of the 3 or 4 cars I've had since then. Their diagnosis are always accurate, and their repairs are perfect.They are honest, reliable, knowledgeable, and especially - always on time! The owner - Kris - knows more about cars than anyone else I've ever met. I'm a very curious and sometimes leery about car stuff so ask a lot of questions. Kris and her staff have always been very willing to answer all my questions with patience and respect and with explanations that I understand.Kris and her staff have been especially kind to me over the years and often treat me like family. I have been going to Glendora Imports for over 15 years and the service has always been exceptional. The minute you walk through the door you are greeted with kindness and their ready to help you and get your information . They will call you and clearly explain what your car needs and answer any questions or concerns you may have. My 3 boys take their vehicles there as well and they are always pleased with the service. If your looking for honesty and exceptional mechanics to care for your car this is where you want to bring it! My previous vehicle was a 2006 Toyota and one day it had shut down on me completely. I had it towed to their shop and it turned out it was a recall and Chris the office manager made the necessary calls and took care of everything for me before contacting me. I thought I was going to have to pay to tow it to the dealer but nope Chris had already arranged for the dealer to go pick it up from shop. I will continue to take my 2019 Toyota because I know they will keep it running for many years . Great service and excellent results. Never had a single issue after their work. My wife and her family have been going here since before I met my wife. Always professional and upfront with any issue they find with any of our vehicles. They do our oil changes and tires on all of our vehicles, they also installed and lift on my truck. I have had my various cars serviced by Glendora Import Specialists, Inc., for many years now and have had exemplary service every time. They fully evaluate the car first, then let me know if anything is needed, and they let me know if nothing is needed. I know a lot about cars, and they have never made stuff up just to add service fees. They provide a quote for $ and time, and have never exceeded either. Also they let me know if a needed repair is under warranty from the dealer. They have always had a very knowledgeable staff and are extremely helpful. Good advice helps keep a car in good condition. They always fit me in their schedule for quick and dependable service when I need it. I highly recommend this business. Oh, and my wife is equally pleased with how she is treated there. It is a pleasant, clean and friendly workplace and it smells good!John Stump, Glendora

Car broke down and I needed it right away since I have out of town guests. Glendora Imports got me in right way and fixed the problem within 4 hours. I took my car in another time as well. They always do excellent work, are very friendly and have very reasonable prices.

I have been going to Glendora Imports for 20 years now. Always worth the 45 minute drive coming from Sherman Oaks. Always saves me tons of money compared to what the Mazda dealer wants to charge me.
