Poor inventory management. For whats supposed to be a speedy service theyve wasted hours of my time. If you drive an older chevy with a BB454, do NOT come here. you'll wait for 45 minutes and go throught the whole process only to be told they do NOT have your oil filter. Then they'll tell you to get it yourself at O'Reilly or autozone but it's not even going to change the price of the service. They'll tell you its a fluke and won't happen again. Theyll do this several times until you learn your lesson and go to jiffy lube.

I'll never put up with the gouging prices and high pressure up-sell from Jiffy Lube as long as I can find a Valvoline! Fast, efficient, reasonable prices and no high pressure sales. Polite to a fault. I won't go anywhere else.

I went here once years ago when I first moved to the area. It was so long ago, I could barely remember why I never went back. Unfortunately, I decided to give them another chance recently and immediately remembered why I stopped coming here.I took my car in to have the air filter changed since the place I got an oil change at said they could not do it. My car's air filter does not simply pop on and off as with most other cars. Mine requires that the engine cover be removed. I was attended to within a few minutes of pulling up, and while the attendant seemed a bit stumped at how to reach my air filter, he eventually managed to get the engine cover off. The problem is that I later discovered he left a screw loose on the intake tube and it fell into the engine when he attempted to reattach it.I drove by the next day to see if they could find the screw and properly attach it. The manager who greeted me was extremely rude and condescending when I tried to explain why I had come back. He literally began to mock and mimic me when I was speaking. It was like speaking to a 10 year old bully. Unbelievable that this guy is a manager. I told him he was extremely rude and found another employee who was more than willing to assist me without the attitude problem. Unfortunately the line was so long just to be seen that I gave up and left.I highly recommend going any place else unless you want to deal with incompetent mechanics and managers with horrible attitudes.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

I moved to Glendale on July and went w/ a $20 coupon " Sweeet " on a Oil change, hope I can get a $20 coupon for a transmission flush ? Still the young lady performed Five Stars showing me on the large monitor of the prices and performance on the care and quality performance on my engine !

It was my first time using the Glendale, Ca. area where I just moved on July and the wait time moved quickly, and Excited with the 20% off " Sweeeeet " The Female Staff along w/ my oil change showed me on the large monitor each item of vehicle work can provide the quality of work to protect your engine, that along is why I'm considering going back and you know hmm I think I'm going for a Transmission flush (if there's a Coupon ?) heck why Not right (would you ?) either way my confidence w/ Valvoline is five stars all the way !

Service has gone completely to trash. Beware of employees and management bait and switching you for the price of your services. Management is outrageously rude and incompetent, and made it clear to me that he was not worried about losing business, which explains the majority of recent reviews being 1 Star. This location has repeatedly tried to take advantage of me, is not upfront about the cost of services, and is nothing like it used to be. I would avoid this location at all costs.

They don t take Groupons anymore. I hope this helps anyone who might try to go there to redeem one. If you throw them over a barrel though, and only let them charge you what you re willing to pay they have no choice but to price match so hopefully that helps.

Came in for a quick oil/transmission fluid change. Things seemed to be going well until it crossed the 20 minute mark then 30 then 40. I was already debating leaving a negative review when the technician came up and apologetically explained a part on my car broke and would take about an hour to repair. Except I had an appointment Across town I had to make.To their credit they immediately ordered me an uber, paid to replace and install the new part, and gave me a free oil change. They seemed just as concerned for me making my appointment as I was.Look, things happen. Stuff breaks. But serious thumbs up to these guys for making things right.

I called just to verify hours and assistance. Cynthia was so positive from beginning to end of conversation. I will follow up on the service from the service outside of hers :) needless to say- she made me feel confident to choose Valvoline above any other options!

I did oil change and tire rotation.And after the serviceAll four tires had low air pressure. Because they did air down hot tires to specified tire pressure, and when air in tires got colder it became very low tire pressure.The skid plate bolts are not tighten up good. The skid plate had been loose.And one bolt on tire was not tightened up to specified pound feet of torque (lb-ft).And there was one worker his name was Laurance. came to check the engine air filter, and when he installed it back he was pushing very hard on a plastic box which can break easily. But he was pushing very hard, the car even shaking. But air filter box easily snaps on, just needs to be installed right.

I went in for a full service synthetic oil change on my car. I was able to have my power steering fluid flushed, my cabin air filter replaced, (I had no idea about it being in my car after all the oil changes I ve paid for with Valvoline that I go to near my address) also they replaced radiator fluid! although all services I wanted service we re not able to be serviced due to inventory. I will say, overall, I really loved the customer service from Brian he was very helpful Informative and I believe he was pretty honest about everything he told me! he gave great details on information and different avenues to take. I give him five stars thanks Brian you re awesome! I didn t get the other guys name who greeted me but he assisted with everything he was great too! Everything was done quickly & convenient. My car sounded so much better and drives a lot smoother prior to pulling up for service I recommend this location very friendly staff very professional.

Went in for an oil change and new air filter this afternoon. I was helped right away, I didn t feel pressured to buy any extra services as I usually do at other places and felt as if I was taken care of as a customer. The manager even double checked my oil level, as soon as I saw that I knew it was money well spent, I am honestly very glad I came here, will definitely come here from now on. Overall I was in and out in less than 20 mins. Jordan, Stehpin, and Michael thank you!

I ve been coming here regularly for a year but this most recent visit I won t be coming back. Having a manual transmission and trying to get up on the ramp while they shout at you like you re stupid creates a humiliating and stressful experience. I won t be coming back

Very poor experience. Show up 6:15, three cars in front of me. Wait 40 minutes only to have them tell me my drain plug is spinning and I ll need to have a mechanic redo it (they can t perform that service). Suspiciously it s 6:55 (they close at 7:00) now when they tell me this. I say alright thanks for the heads up. Take it to my mechanic two days later and they say there is absolutely nothing wrong with the plug itself. They changed my oil, they charge me $45. Not only did the technician straight lie to get me out of there so they could close up shop, but honestly I wouldn t trust anything else they say you need. Just tell me that you re closing early and can t service me. Furthermore, my private mechanic went and did the work CHEAPLY and HONESTLY. Valvoline synthetic can be anywhere from $75-100. Take your car somewhere else and support someone else; this particular location is bad.

Came here for an oil change. Miguel was extremely friendly and efficient. I liked the screens right next to the drive in ports, so you can see exactly what s going on. And it s nice that you just stay in your car. It s maybe slightly more expensive than some other oil change locations, but it includes a lot (tire pressure and fluid check) and the service is great. I ll definitely be back!Service: Oil change

I have a mini cooper 2012 with 53,000 miles on it.So I have been here for a couple of times to get my oil and filter changed. This month I had my oil change and the oil filter too. They checked the air filter too and told me it was in fair condition but I decided to change it anyways. After the whole procedure, I was ready to head out. This time, after a couple of days, I noticed an idle in the motor. Which is small jerk in the motor that you feel while waiting in a stop light or when the engine is on park. I have never had this problem before and decided to take it in to the the last people that checked my engine. I told them what was the problem and they decided to check the vehicle without asking me for any record of past visit. I did have my invoice ready of my recent visit but they did not bother. I told them the problem and they kindly checked the engine and noticed screws on the cap were lose. The grip on the bottom cap is plastic and the screws on the top cap are metal. So whoever did that filter change, striped the threads on the bottom cap of the air filter.The manager who helped me told me it was a wear and tear problem. Then he told me to get some screws at home depot to me fix the problem......... yeah. I let him use plastic straps as a temporary solution but the jerking still hasn't stopped. This is very upsetting.Now I'm facing up tp $300 to replace the air filter case plus 160 that I paid when the problem started. I shouldn't have to pay for this mistake.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

Beware of bait and switch prices, rude management, and incompetent mechanics. I had them drop my hood and drove away after they repeatedly tried to take advantage of me. Avoid this place.

Always fast and professional service. Was very happy that one of the guys helping me out with my car actually informed me that they were able to fix/ replace one of my headlights bulb. I was unaware Valvoline provided that service (typical girl move?) but was a huge help and happily surprised Lastly, the guys helping me also adjusted ALL of my tires to the proper PSI, they were all over but they took care of it.

Valvoline Oil Change went very well. It only took roughly 10 minutes plus. I paid roughly on an average $75 dollars plus. I went on the one on Colorado Blvd. Well worth the time, they do a fantastic job, friendly, professional and best of all, you're inside your vehicle the whole time. I highly recommend going to nearest Valvoline Oil Change near you.

This is a store of ninjas. I got my oil changed there the other day and realized that I wasn't just getting and oil change but they did a full inspection. The entire time, unbeknownst to me I was blissfully unaware of the fact that there was a person down below who was changing out my oil. I even asked the technician when they were gonna start the oil change. Only to be surprised to find a man waving and laughing down below. Super kind people, super fast service, and I'll most likely be coming back here again for any oil changes I have.

Very friendly and attentive staff at this location. Kind of pricey for an oil change but they all are these days. Makes me sound super old, but, what can you do. Filled my tires up with air and didn't try to upsell me. Good experience, plan on going back.
