Please take your car to a different service department! Very unsatisfied with my experience. Quoted me for more services than I needed initially, told me I had to replace a single slave cylinder, took them 3 days to then tell me I needed the entire clutch replaced. Brought car to a different mechanic who told me that this service department is incompetent and that you should be able to diagnose a clutch problem on initial inspection. Will never take my Mazda back or buy from them. They are purposefully trying to rip you off. Really sad you can't trust themService: General repairs & maintenance

The receptionist was very nice. I am waiting in lobby for them to finish the services.

Extremely expensive, but the workers are pretty professional. Right now they don't provide part of the service (carwash after service), but did they think about reducing the cost of this service? Of course! Paid from 150 to 200 for 3-minute computer check. And no Uber pick up or car loan offered.I used to own Audi before and they said that I will not feel like I downgraded. I definitely felt it at the service center... Much less service for a more expensive price!

Twice in a row I have gone in to pick up my vehicle and the price has been hundreds of dollars over the itemized estimate I was sent. The first time it was a little over a hundred dollars over the estimate because they added in a new battery (which they had not told me about and I had not authorized, nor had I had trouble with.) This time it was $250 over the itemized estimate they had sent, with no item matching the prices I had been sent to approve. I will not be returning to Star Mazda for any future work on my vehicle.

After taking car in for specific problems they noted many other issues (which they didn't push on me)however, it was good to be made aware of things that need to be addressed in the future. Nathon listened to what I wanted to have done and the job was done within one day. They washed the car as well!!!

My RX8 was recalled due to the gasket on top of the fuel pump. Star Mazda said it would take 3 hours to fix. After 2 1/2 hours of waiting, they said it would take longer. :( But they offered a ride back to my home and said when the car is ready, they would send a car to pick me up and bring me back to the dealership. Everything is working fine! Would've given 5 stars if they would've done the job in the time frame first promised.

Very expensive for "repairing" the front camera sensor. More than 1,000 dollars. Also, I brought to a different dealership to ask a second opinion, they said the timing belt is still fine and no change required. So my conclusion, just don't do whatever Star Mazda says, bring to a different Mazda dealer and ask second opinion! U could save more money

Got my Mazda 6 here in 2017. Cool dealership. Walking distance to places to eat if you don't want to hang out in the waiting area.

Craig in the service department helped me out. He was on top of things. He was quick and responded immediately to my texts. I am so happy I chose to go to Glendale instead of Van Nuys where it was recommended by Mazda USA (because of distance they said but it was the same). These guys were thorough with my car too. I even got a Lyft home both ways since I couldn't get a car from them(they were out).

Made an appointment last week for simple oil change, arrived 10 minutes early, no cars, was told 3 to 4 hours wait. I disagreed with 3 to 4 hours wait since I had an appointment. They change it to 45 minutes max. They got me out in 1-1/2hours. I don't recommend this dealership. While waiting, only 2 or 3 cars arrived for service and i saw many bays empty and workers standing around or talking.

Called 4 times in 3 different parts of the business hours. They pick up and hang up! Yeah you can reply to this saying you are sorry about that but that does not fix anything. Stop wasting peoples time if you cannot handel few calls. So if you are thinking about this place go to Mazda culver city. They know how to pick up the phone or at least tell you to call later instead of making you wait 25 minutes on hold and them hang up!

I have brought my Mazda CX-5 here multiple times. The staff is terrific and helpful. They called me a Lyft so I didn t have just hang out at the dealership while they worked on my car. They re super thorough too, but not to like an up-selling extent. Nathon was especially great!

Just wanted to leave a review after my great experience getting my Mazda 3 serviced here. All I can say is this place runs like a well oiled machine. Just a great great experience here. 5 stars.

Back in January, my mom bought a car from this dealership. We've been trying to get the MOV for over a month. Finally we received it, but it was someone elses MOV... Poor customer service. Once you drive the car off the lot, they don't reply to phone calls or response when they claim they will.

Ive been with Mazda for 10 plus years, and try to avoid going to Star. Its often a struggle to get good and honest service, but its close. I wont get into past experience, just today. Im giv8ng teo stars vs one because no one was RUDE, all kind and I did learn some things. But, not good cause they did nothing to actually help. I have a 2015 Mazda 3 grand touring. The armrest consols top became loose and wiggled. As everyone is out of work and were spossed to limit going out, I took it upon myself to fix the issue. Research showed, just push the pins back in. I did this successfully, BUT made the mistake of having it open when doing so, resulting in not being able to close it. Super silly. I knew the pins just needed to be pushed through to start over w the over extension oieve on the correct side to resolve the issue, but couldnt determine how to push the pins through w/o causing damage, so forfeited and called Mazda. Nathan on the phone, SUPER nice, and fully understood my dilemma but needed to see it and offered not to charge if it wasnt broken. Perfect. Although, I also knew, if it cost me $50 in labor, it was well worth it for my dumb mistake. By the time I got in, Nathan was busy and another mechanic looked at it for all of 2min. He tried to push it closed and explained, if he forced it it would break. Obviously. All things I KNEW and I even said, yeah I need the pins pushed through to get the top off. He said no, you have to replace the whole console. Surprised me, cause I imagine if this piece can just come loose over time, you can get it open. Plus, dont people replace their armrests but the not entire console? (I do love my mazda car, but they are like legos w parts just clipped togerher.) He left, another person helped me by getting an estimate for replacing the entire console since I didnt know what else to do and my armrest was flipped to the backseat. The estimate, $500!! Being out of work from covid, there was no way, PLUS I knew there had to be a way! So, I left and decided to magiver it myself or crack it. I may cause a little scraping on the plastic, but itd be hidden AND it wouldnt cost me $500! So, legit, 10min later I managed to push the pin through w an alan wrench and hammer and fully fixed it. VERY minimal damage. Im in AW that Mazda couldnt help w this. Either A: they are incompetent or B: tried to take advantage of a young girl who didnt want to break her car, and was seeking help/advice. BUT in hindsight, they just taught me Im just better off figuring it out for myself. So, thanks, but no thanks Star Mazda Service Center

Sometimes you just have to go to the dealer. I'll give an in depth review after I ask fort a fair deal on the glass for a Miata hardtop. That'll separate excellence from regular dealer, uh, chaff.

Phone chargers don't work. Salesmen wouldn't let me test drive a car. Service was good though. Reception was a bit spotty but they have free WiFi.

Beware if you bring your vehicle in here for maintenance. My girlfriend brought her Mazda in for an oil change and tire rotation. Windshield washer fluid was not topped off(we know because a few days after the service the light came on) and the worst is the lug nuts on every wheel were tightened too much. So much that when we got a flat tire a week later one of them snapped off while trying to remove. Torque wrench anyone?
