This is a family owned place and it s been in the family for 50+ years. The owner, John, is a really friendly and honest guy. He gave me the facts straight and kept his word on the time to finish the work. Highly recommend, 10/10.

Guy named john let me know he was going to get me a price for a part the following day. Told him my truck was dead on the side of a busy road. Call in, he laughs letting me know if I can t afford the $250 diagnostic I should go somewhere else, and that he decided he s not going to look up the part.

Karol 's Garage is a general service for all types of vehicles, just happens my vecho6is a 550 Ford so you just don't take it anywhere. The service is great here ,for at lest commercial trucks that I know and it's reputable.

I have bringing my cars to John for years. So long my kids now take their cars here. I don t think a more knowledgeable auto repair exists. I have had brake jobs, tuneups, suspension work etc on all kinds of cars foreign and domestic. Don is a car whisperer, a master craftsman. They have sourced all kids of parts for my cars. Top marks for this family shop! Saved me many times. Thank you John!!

in response to jeffery simon's post. one time customer that came in with a cracked radiator pouring coolant all over the floor plain as day. no hard sell, either you get it replaced or not. the decision was 100% on jeffrey. he chose to install a radiator and left. never contacted the shop after the fact with any complaint. i came across this post and wast taken back by his statement. i john skowronski in no way pressure or lie to get jobs, i only have my name and i take it seriously if there is a problem. since he never returned and never mentioned anything all i can do is assure everyone that i am an honest man and run a honest shop, thank you

I moved to L.A. in 2010. My old mechanic was a 3rd generation country boy mechanic from Kingston, TN. He was honest and I thought I would never find someone like him in L.A.. John is honest, letting you know if something needs to be addressed now, or if it can wait. I've lived all over L.A. since I arrived in 2010 and I always come back to John and his team.

Good place to have your vehicles worked on. They kept me informed on what was needing done on my truck and gave me a few different options on what parts I could buy.
