Were able to see me quickly after waiting about a month to save up to pay for the service I needed. Instead of a few hours as they predicted, they were able to replace my start/stop battery in an hour and even charged me less than what was quoted so I really appreciated that. Also the staff were nice too as I sat and waited. Will definitely come back if I need any other maintenance.

As a young woman, going to a mechanic can be tough because they often take advantage of my lack of car knowledge. When I found these guys, it was such a relief to not have to worry about being overcharged or lied to. The minute I came in they were so helpful and kind. I told them that I had just been to the dealership and they claimed I had major issues with my car that would total to $12,000. I found J&E online and took it in for a second opinion. They were honest about the condition of my car and told me what I needed vs what was an over exaggeration/normal wear and tear from an older car. I was so appreciative of how easy the experience was and how reasonable the charges were. I will definitely be going back any time I need something for my car; feels great to have a place you can trust.

From the time I first called to schedule an appointment, I was amazed with how professional and understanding Emad (owner) was. He was very clear about the pricing and didn't hide any details that a lot of other stores do. He certainly understood my concerns and made sure he was doing everything to address them. Their staff works quickly and delivers on their promises. We certainly built a long term relationship and I am very much looking forward to tell all my friends about them. Thank you Emad

J&E Auto is one of the most honest and fair auto repair shops I've ever been to. Emad was very informative and transparent of what needed to be repaired in my 2014 Prius and what could wait but made sure I kept an eye on it. Everything from the quote process, repair and pick up was very professional and the pricing is more than fair. I will be coming back to them for all my auto repair needs in the future! I couldn't recommend them more!

I recently moved to Alhambra and had no idea who to call when my 2013 Kia Optima hybrid left me stranded on the 101. Loss of power, ugly noise, then smoke. Not good. The Kia service center diagnosis: need a new engine: $14,000 (more than I paid for the car a year and a half ago). I began searching Yelp for someone in the area and came across amazing reviews for Emad and J and E. And not just a couple; hundreds and hundreds of 5-star reviews. Specific and consistent. So I took a chance. Emad confirmed the Kia diagnosis, but he came in with an estimate of less than half of what Kia wanted to charge. I just got my car back two days ago, dreading that something will go wrong again, but so far, it is running as if nothing happened. Emad asked me to bring it back in after a week or two to do a check-up and make sure everything was as it should be. I'll certainly update if there are issues, but at this point, I am more than satisfied with the work that Emad and his team did, the way that they did it, and the integrity and honesty they showed in walking me through the issues. This was a very expensive and discouraging problem, but I trust that I took it to the right person.

This is by far the best auto shop in Glendale! J&E is the most honest auto shop I have ever used. Their quality of service is just as good as a dealership or even better. I took my car to the dealership and they weren t able to tell me the exact problem of vehicle, however, Robert found out what the issue was and fixed it without any problems. To top it off, Emad is a very caring and genuine person with such a great personality. I ve been taking my car to J&E for years and I am always satisfied with their service. I would definitely recommend this auto shop, even if there s a bit of a wait time, it s worth the wait to know the job will be done and done correctly and priced fairly. This is definitely the place to take your car. They are fast and friendly and the do good work . I got my alternator replaced, and I am pleased with the work they did . I Will be back the next time my car needs service.

I came because of all the good reviews, and I can see why they have earned so many five star ratings. The employees were all so nice, and they changed my oil and fixed my taillight so quickly. The price was less than I thought it would be as well, and they were efficient and so friendly, which goes a long way. I will definitely come back if I need work done and for my next oil change.

Called them after the dealer was charging me a insane amount of money. They were VERY price competitive and had me back on the road in 24 hrs. Definitely my guys to turn to when I'm in the L.A area!

Recently got my 2018 Honda civic brought there for maintenance after a long time spent avoiding that maintenance due light. They repaired everything quicker and cheaper than I have experienced at other shops and are very friendly, would easily recommend this shop to a friend!

Don't even bother looking elsewhere...i've already done the research for you! These guys offer the best prices and are HONEST and professional. I am SO relieved I found them after various places in the area tried to charge me double and tell me all these things I didn't need.

Finally, an honest mechanic in LA! Came in for AC service and was delighted with the same day, excellent service. No up-selling, no hijinks, just solid pricing for the work that needed to be done (as opposed to charges for imaginary issues like other places). They're busy, but attentive and thorough.

I got a new clutch installed for a 04 mustang gt and then needed my a/c recharged. They were very knowledgeable and honest that's why they are so busy. I'm lucky to be within walking distance so it's convenient. They stand behind there work and follow up to make sure your satisfied. Emad and his team do great honest work for a fair price. I will continue going to him for my car and maintenance needs. Had a broken thermostat and they changed it the same day. I received a parking ticket in the mail while my car was being serviced in their area and they paid it off no questions asked. Ridiculous that a contractor hired to assign tickets is camping outside their business preying on them. I'll be happy to refer them to anyone!

My AC wasn t working, they did a diagnostic and fixed it for a fair price, my daughter and I were so relieved because this heat had been draining us on our errands. Very nice gentlemen s, a bit of wait time but that s expected at any mechanic shops. They check back with you days later to see if your car is good . Before going he did tell me if we can t fix it it will be no charge and if we can he gave me a price. Very thankful they were able to take my car in.

My check engine light went on. My car dealership said it would cost $230 just for a diagnostic (before repairs). I went to Emad and he discovered I had a simple loose gas cap and reset the light for me. He also checked my engine to make sure everything looked good. He didn't charge me for this visit and now he has a customer for life!

I took my 2019 jeep compass to the dodge dealership dtla, they were very rude, dismissive and quoted me $900 to fix a basic issue. They also kept my car for diagnostics for 4 DAYS, and was charged $230 since I declined the expensive repair, fortunately I searched online and found J&E complete auto service. Not only did they fix my issue for half the price Dodge quoted, they also were very helpful, willing to help. They fixed my issue in under 2 HOURS! I love them and will definitely be back and promote them to anyone I know in need of a great auto shop! All 5 stars!!!Service: Exhaust

I used this place through Uhaul to reserve a moving truck. I was a little nervous about using the mobile pickup from uhaul so I called to make sure my order would be okay and was told everything was set up. When I arrived to pick up the truck it turns out they did not leave the keys in the locker! When I called the helpline they asked me to drive to a location 14 miles away, which I did as I am moving on a deadline. Unfortunately after getting to that location and picking up keys to the truck I was unable to take the truck as it was literally parked in and hitched to two other trucks. While they did honor their 50$ guarantee I wasted over three hours trying to pick up this truck between driving to to two different locations and waiting for over 1 hour in the help line and still don t have a truck to move in. Would think three times before using this business as a uhaul location.

Great service! Trust worthy mechanic! Has serviced all my cars. Great prices! Has saved me thousands! You might find a cheaper mechanic but not a better mechanic for the price! Have been coming for a decade and will keep coming to get all my car services! Quick example, Toyota was charging me $4,700 to fix my 2016 Toyota RAV4 and at J & E it got $1,700!! Life saver! Thank you!

The fact that the day after I had my brakes done, Emad texted me to ask how my car was doing should tell you all you need to know. I live in Hollywood, the shop is in Glendale yet I would (and in the future, I will) gladly make the trip to have Scarlet (my car) serviced (read: cared for) there. They are outstanding. Came here a while back with the check engine light on. After 6 hours, he told me to come back, but could not diagnose anything. The main thing is, someone left 20+ scratches on my steering wheel, the owner of the shop said it wasn't him, and I believe him.I had taken photos of the car yesterday to prepare for a sale so it's 100% scratches made at the shop.There was a guilty looking mechanic lurking in the back when I brought the issue up. He refused to make eye contact, but kept hovering and muttering.I wouldn't leave a car here without supervision. Very disappointed since this is one of the best rated shops in Glendale.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I recently visited J&E Complete Auto Service for an oil change, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. They took the time to explain the process and answered all my questions. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, with complimentary coffee and Wi-Fi. My car was serviced promptly, and the price was reasonable.
