Professional techs. Know their stuff. And most importantly reasonable price. Helped replace my transmission drain plug that was rounded off. And then did a drain and fill. All done in a timely manner and also checked and advised on brakes and suspension. Basically I'm going again when I need hep with my cars.

I was driving back home to San Diego and hit a knarly pothole. The technician Paul there was more than helpful and very knowledgeable and was able to get me back on the road. Very straight forward mechanic, he told me what needed to be fixed at the moment and what could be or needed to be fixed when it was more convenient for me. He even was able to top of my transmission level to the propper level, which the other mechanic I went to had failed. Overall, I just wish I lived closer to this shop because the quality of work was awesome and hard to find in my experiences.

Great shop! Miguel and Paul run a great business and provide amazing customer service. I had an emergency with my truck, and needed a safe vehicle to drive my three daughters in, and tried to go to my usual mechanic, but they said they couldn't fix it for a week! I then brought it to Lightning, and they got me in right away, gave me a reasonable estimate, and such quick service! Now I only bring my vehicles here! Thanks so much Miguel and Paul!

Great experience at this shop. I'm newer to Gilroy and don't have a place yet where I would take my car if it needed some work. I had an issue that involved my battery and after calling AAA and them advising me it was an alternator, I had to find a place. After checking ratings, BBB, and asking around, it was suggested to go here. Well, I can honestly say it was well worth it. Honest group of young men that could have easily said it was more than it was, but they did the diagnostic and found that it was just a bad battery. So, a quick call back to AAA (since my battery was covered under a warranty), I got my car back on the road without costing an arm and a leg. Thankful for this shop and I have already referred them to friends and family, who have already had their vehicles serviced and they share the same sentiments. Thank you & I think I have found my local shop now ;)

I am happy to drive from out of town to have my car serviced at Lightning Auto Repair Services. I originally came here to get new car brakes on a recommendation from my mom. The price was reasonable compared to other places I had called. Paul advised I make an appointment and he would order the parts ahead of time so they could get started on my car as soon as I brought my car in. I really appreciated this because I don t want to wait any longer than I should. My brakes have never been better! Paul took the liberty to check out my car for other services it may need, which was awesome because I hadn t gotten my car thoroughly checked out beyond an oil change (yikes!). I have since returned to have other work done and have been impressed with the quality of work and I never feel like I am being overcharged. These guys really value their customer!

They provided excellent service at an affordable price. Quickly able to squeeze me in on a short notice. Very knowledgeable. I would recommend getting your vehicle fixed here.

I love there honesty on the works that needs to be done on your vehicle. They are very professional and get your vehicle to you asap.One thing I love is the fast turn over. All I can say is that they do really good work. I will definitely take all my vehicles back to them.

The mechanics there are super nice super friendly theu will tell you exactly what is wrong with you car theu won't lie to you I would definitely recommend them to other people I was very happy how my own car turned out theu are awesome
