I called about getting my home rekeyed, and was told that my cheapest and best option was to go to Home Depot and buy a smart Key rest tool. I appreciate his honesty and his integrity. Most vendors would try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge in this area, so for him to be genuine, absolutely speaks volumes. Although I didn't end up working with this company, I highly recommend them, and if myself, friends or family ever needs a locksmith I will be recommending this company.

Gave me the cheapest price on making a second key for my car when I called. Met up in a grocery store parking lot. He was super nice, and friendly. He cut and programmed the key was fast and easy. I would recommend him to family and friends. If you are looking for a great locksmith and a quality experience then call McGinnis lock & key.

Prompt, professional, Affordable. I had to get keys made for a vehicle i recently purchased and he was able to work with my schedule, showwed up early even, and got right to work. I purchased a used vehicle and it came with only one smart key, so I wanted a spare. I found a matching smart key on ebay and hired Patrick to program it to my vehicle, and also cut the backup key should the smart key ever fail or run out of battery power. His positive reviews on Google prompted me to contact him, and boy am I glad I did. I found him to be an honest and hardworking professional and true to his craft. He not only did exactly what he told me he would do over the phone, but he did it at a fraction of the cost of the auto dealership. I was very impressed with his high quality and expensive tools he carries as well. This guy knows his stuff and is super easy to deal with. My highest recommendations!

I called and left a message and I got a call back with in 5 minutes. We set up a time for him to come rekey two locks. He is fast and Efficient. Prices were fare and the costumer service was great!

Call this guy first. My story is similar to the other reviews; I called a few of the top Google hits that seem to be middle men with no ability to give a firm price quote. This guy quoted me a fair price and showed up and unlocked my truck quickly.

I lost my keys..pretty sure my kid threw them in the garbage. I called several places and no answer. A friend gave me McGinnis number and he answered and came out that same day! Great pricing. Fast. I had called several places after leaving my wife, 6mo old baby, and two year old son stranded after breaking the key in my ignition. I called McGinnis after talking to a few knuckleheads that didn't seem to know what they were talking about. The owner answered and immediately I knew that he was an educated, experienced locksmith. He showed up within minutes on a rainy Sunday night in a vehicle that was set up to do some locksmith work. He had a full shop set up inside his converted van. He immediately went to work to remove my ignition, which had the key broken off in it. Bang, Bam , Boom! Within minutes Mcginnis Lock and Key had me on my way home. He was very professional and very reasonable. Just an honest hard working locksmith. I would refer him to everyone. Thumbs up.
