Honest, price worthy, always willing to go beyond to help in any way possible. Mr. Ariel (owner of the shop) is by far the most admirable and humble man. As a woman, I always felt as if I was always taken advantage of since I have no clue about cars, but coming to his shop was the best wrong turn I have ever taken! This family owned tire shop is the place to go if you are looking for great prices and A+ work. I've been going to this shop for almost 10 years and will continue to do so.

As a mobile mechanic and owner of a mobile small business that covers all of LA County to Las Vegas, our our ability to travel to random locations, without delay is always our biggest concern. We have all the tools and equipment in the world , EXCEPT TIRES. So when I noticed one of our service vehicles had a tire that was worn down to the wire, this Tuesday, I had to put it out of service and find a tire quick. Was getting the run around at different tire shops for an hour because nobody else had our (less common) tire size. We lucked out when we found Payless Tires in Gardena. I called ahead and when arrived they had a tire ready and had me in and out in no time. All of their tires looked either very good to new. I preach good customer service to my techs, and their customer service definitely sets the bar. I highly recommend giving them a call if you're looking for good quality and very reasonable New and Used prices for different budgets. Even put air in my other tires too. Thanks Bros. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I had a great experience with this family owned business. I was next door to this location washing my car and realized that the front passenger tire was flat. As soon as I finished I slowly drove next door and was meet by a polite young man that was very courteous and professional. I asked how much they charge to put some air in my tire for me, he immediately responded that he would put air in for me without any charge. And then he proved to be a man of his word. I ended up just purchasing a used titirere for a temporary fix. I have a couple other vehicles that are in need of wheels and tires as well, I am definitely making this my new tire location, thier prices are excellent, they are just a couple blocks away and the people and service are the best!

Wonderful experience here today. I had gotten a flat a couple weeks ago but was able to patch it. My patch was leaking though and I wanted to replace the tire. I had looked into the big stores, am SO glad I came here instead. The tech explained why he couldn t repatch my tire (too close to the sidewall, which was already bulging a bit), and had a used tire that he could install for $50, which was a great deal. Going into this, I was afraid that I would be upsold and that wherever I went would try to sell me hundreds of dollars of brand new tires. Did not feel that at all and am SO happy with my whole experience. And I love that I was able to support a small business instead of one of the big stores.Thank you Payless!!!

I was extremely satisfied with my service experience. Not only did I get an affordable quality used tire, barely could tell it was used might I add, but the customer service is what s going to keep me coming back. Very attentive technicians, I didn t even have to ask for the extras, they went out of their way to ensure I d leave there satisfied & worry free! I d recommend them to my mother!

Father and two sons manage this shop. I am not taking a star away just because parking is limited and there's no fancy waiting room. It's hard to find good, honest folks who will do right by you. Great prices on new and used tires.

Their tires prices are kind of high, but they have a good variety of tires. Be careful with the owner though, he's always changing the price for things. About 8 months ago he said the price to change all my brakes would be $170. I asked again 2 weeks ago and he said $220. I needed to change my brales today, and he raised it up to over $300. I suggest coming for the tires only. For actual services, I suggest elsewhere.

Bought two used tires that could have passed for new for a great price. I pulled in, had the tires changed and mounted, paid, and was on the street in less than 10 mins. No exaggeration, I can hardly believe it myself. Both employees I talked to there were very friendly.

If you are expecting an air conditioned lounge with coffee and a TV this is not a place for you. But if you are on a budget and want to get things done fast and cheap, go to Payless! It is a small gritty little tire shop with minimal overhead and mostly cash-based business, the kind you do not find too often any more. Two guys with some basic equipment in a little shack on a tiny patch of asphalt: that's all!Service is fast, prices are cheap, guys are straight and will give you no bull. The guys are experienced and do a good job. I used Payless to pick up a set of used tires for my teenage daughter's car. I got a great deal. I also had a patch put in for $15 and it took all of 15 minutes.

Fast, affordable, pleasant. Had a screw in my tire and they plugged it for $15 in under 5 mins

This place is great I get my tires from here real cheap. They also do brakes. Its a really small space though and it is on a semi busy street crenshaw so merging out might be tough at timea. But it is a great tire shop. Highly recommended.

I got a flat and was luckily only about 3 blocks from this place. They didn t have the exact replacement but they had the next closest thing and explained to me the pros and cons and then replaced it in about 5 min flat for a great price.

The Best Place for used tires! Every time I've came here they've been extremely helpful and informative. I always recommend this place to everyone I know. I believe it's a family owned business, really hard workers!

Theses guys are fast and understanding. They never dicked me around or anything of the sort. Really nice guys work want to help and will tell you if you need to change something or if you don't. Got to respect someone that levels with you.

THEY ARE FAIR AND HONEST.. YOUNG MAN SAID LET ME CHECK YOUR TIRE . ONCE HE LOOKED HE SAID YOUR TIRE IS NEW THE NAIL WENT STRAIGHT THROUGH.. LET ME JUST FIX IT YOU DON'T NEED A NEW TIRE. THAT'S HONESTY

Fast Courteous and ProfessionalI walked to the Gardena Library and was just getting comfortable with a Book and the call Came for me to Pick up Me Jeep. The Guy also showed me a Pic of me Jeeps Emergency Brakes that were worn to the Bone, for future repair.I used to watch Pep boys in redondo let me car sit there for 2 3 hours and come and work only 29 minutes and charge for 5 hrs labor... this place pays his guy for the Job it seems, because by the time I filled out the Paperwork these guys had all the tires off and were working on the brakes, if it wasnt for waiting for the parts, they'd prolly finished in 30 minutes

These people are liars, charged me $20 to fill my tires with air and switch the front wheels for the back wheels. For something they charge others for $5, for something the signs say they charge $1
