I've used this service for nearly 40 years. I don't even bother comparing price service or quality. If you're looking for no nonsense, honest, reliable transmission service. I cannot recommend this place high enough. I would recommend this place that Jesus himself if he had a driver's license and wanted to drive in California. Was just highly unlikely but family and friends who are still stuck here. This is the place to come to if you're trannies slipping!

This is the place to restore or fix any transmission problem. His transmission tune-up kept my Silverado going past 360,000 miles and never had to replace my transmission. Perfect condition. Knowledgeable owner and service workers.

After much searching to find a good transmission place, I found Hiro's. They had great reviews. Drove in for an estimate and repair. The gentleman who helped us was very knowledgeable and told us it works take 2 -3 days. By the end of the day they were done. The car is running great again. Thanks to Hiro's transmission.

Wouldn't spend my money here showed up with a transmission to ask a question had it in my truck wanted the guy to look at it to give me a price he didn't even want to go outside to look at it he said he was too busy there's better places out there with better coustomer service

They're very thorough, knowledgeable, and honest. I had a great experience talking with the tech, Jim, that test drove my car about the possible causes to my issue. Everything made perfect sense. I don't like being in the dark about what people are doing under my hood, so I really appreciated the openness at Hiro's. They're more interested in fixing your transmission than making extra money by fabricating problems. A+.

Recommended by a friend. Could not be more pleased. Spoke with Jimmy over the phone before I brought my car in. I described the symptoms, and he told me he had a pretty good idea of the problem, described what would be necessary to fix and how long he would need, and offered a ballpark price estimate over the phone.I brought the car in the next day and dropped it off. One week later, the car is running perfectly. The fix was exactly what he expected, and the price was right around his estimate.Jimmy was happy to take the time to explain the work he did, offered some suggestions on how to fix an unrelated issues with the car, and sent us home with (and emailed us!) a detailed invoice.Very happy to have found a friendly, trustworthy, and knowledgable transmission shop. I will be recommending them to family and friends.

Had my 1970 jeepster in for transmission work at Hiro s, after getting two estimates from other shops. Both shops gave me an estimate of $2000.Hiro s took a quick look at it, found a broken vacuum line. Made sure the transmission, locking hubs and transfer case were in good running order. Cost total 345 out the door. Amazing, honest and knowledgeable transmission shop. Would recommend this shop to everyone.

This is probably the best transmission repair shop in SoCal. Calvin and the others know what they are doing. They work on all cars, including classics. Very honest and fair prices. I feel very good about bringing my car to Hiro's Transmissions and you will too.

Absolutely a must if you have a vintage vehicle that needs the love of the power train specifically the transmission. Calvin and Jimmy and the team are excellent. Highly highly recommended.

I have my old car serviced here back in 2014. I thought it was going to be an expensive job normally associated with Transmissions. But Hiro's found out it was only a few wires that needed to be changed. I went looking at $3k in fees to $250. I will be paying them a visit l later this week.
