The man at the front desk is extremely rude. We made an appointment and got treated as if we were walk ins. We know the process is long but when a customer ask questions we shouldn t get treated as if we are bothering him. I love the brand Firestone but this is my last time using them and I m closing my credit card. It is totally not worth it to go through this for a second time at this location.

I wish I would have read the reviews before coming here. I made an appointment for a break inspection. My car sounded terrible and I had my tires replaced the day before and he warned that both front and back brakes needed attention. I go to Firestone and they gave me recommendations for my front breaks and told me my back were fine. I had the front repaired but my car still sounded terrible so I brought it back the next weekend. They did another inspection and now my back brakes were suggested. I don't trust them anymore because they allowed me to ride around on unsafe brakes. I took it to my usual mechanic and he doesn't think they touched my rotors at all. I call customer service and finally receive a call back from Freddy whom i guess it store manager. He was not apologetic at all and pretty condescending. Don't come here the owner can't take his business seriously with all these bad Google and yelp reviews of this location concerning service and staff.

The work took over 2 1/2 hours and then told I needed brakes that would take another 2 1/2 hours. Service person Freddy was not friendly like Jesus and Melvin who I spoke to on the phone. I changed from the Firestone by my house in Redondo Beach to the one in Gardena that is much further away because they were much more customer service oriented. Not any more. I ended taking my car someplace else for the brakes. They were $100 cheaper and drove me home and will.pick me up!!!

I was on hold ten minutes when I gave up to make appointment. Called back next day. Brought my car in and it was returned to me without a word of a problem. Then I went home and read the paperwork. Customer service sucks. No communication and no repair; what a waste of my time. I will never come back to this store for anything!

I bought couple batteries from them in the past they had super cool people working their went yesterday for a battery check very slow service they said they were busy to check my battery when I saw 2 workers having fun chatting one worker vaping and checking his phone and there was once car in service and no clear help when questions asked finally they checked battery said it need to be replaced didn t trust them took my battery to O Reilly they tested it they said it functions great and they were very helpful no more Firestone Gardena

I gave them a phone call and quickly realized this place is not for me. Management has that know it all attitude, and ended up being completely wrong. Be weary of this place, tires are easy, but I wouldn t have them do anything else.

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. Had an appointment for 8am to have brakes done, didn t leave until 1240pm. They never took my tires off to inspect my brakes. When they finally finished my truck , the tech had my vehicle out 25 minutes doing road test. Very shady business.

DON T COME HERE!!! I came here to do an inspection on my car, with appointment. They told me to wait in the office, after 20mins I wanted to check on my car and it was NO WHERE TO BE FOUND! And non of the workers could give me an answer. After 5mins two of the guys that work here returned with my car, apparently they were doing a run test without my consent, without asking or telling me about it. Don t ever come here. They are shady!!! I DON T trust this place. Oh and on another note, the workers are smoking while working. What kind of work place is this? The owner of this place really needs to come see this mess and fix it.

I'm not an expert on cars. My 2015 Nissan Altima S had a very slight vibration while stopped at traffic lights so I decided to just get a tune up. After getting one, the vibration is stronger (giving me a headache) and the engine is less quiet when accelerating. I should have gotten an inspection (or diagnostic) somewhere before making the decision.

Had an appt. with them. Get there, they tell me it will be an hour for an oil change. My car takes regular oil. Manager claims it takes synthetic. Ford says to use regular oil but synthetic can be used but not necessary. Manager tells me to take up the issue with the Mfr. A $29.99 oil change, he now tried to shove up me for a synthetic at $85.00. Don't go there. They rip you off every chance they can.Service: Oil change

After seeing the reviews people posted here, I guess nothing has been changed with them.They worked on my A/C and advised me that the only thing needed to be fixed was the freon refill. I paid $800 for that stuff which initially another clerk at the same shop told me $300. A manager signaled at her and she all of a sudden told me $800 for the refill. Since I just wanted to have A/C fixed I told them to go ahead and fix. I paid $800.1 week and a half later, A/C stops blowing cold again. I stopped by the shop and the manager with a cold face just told me to book an appointment for them to take a look at again. I asked for refund but he said he can't process it.I then asked why in the first place they couldn't fix it? He said it seemed like the freon was leaking and he said 'if it takes two weeks to leak, how can the shop find it out in a couple of hours?'Isn't that why they inspect the car in the first place and they are so-called "mechanics?" Then he got offended by my questions since I asked him "so will you charge me more since you'd likely tell me I needed new this and new that?" He and I went back and forth.All that I asked was probably his understanding on how frustrating it can be after seeing A/C stop blowing cold again even after spending $800 for a repair that Firestone guys said "it's just a refill, no leaks"LOL. Do they even know what they are doing?I just wanted my refund but they can't process. So now I am stuck with them. I am not even sure if they can fix my A/C ever, since they will work on something and say "that's not it, bring it again" after charing me a GRIP.I tried to ask the manager why in the first place they couldn't fix. He instead continued to get offended by what I had to say and tried to just fight back and defend his position as if I were to sue Firestone over $800 A/C repair.How many new parts or pieces will they need until they find out what was wrong with the A/C?Can they even fix it? I don't want to keep throwing another set of $800 just for the manager to look at the clerk and for me to watch another price jump from $300 to $800.I am not taking my vehicle to this shop ever again. I am even considering my $800 blown. I made a complaint on their corporate contact. I need my money back. Better being put somewhere.I just wanted my A/C fixed man. This is getting harder than applying for a college admission.

Woke up early on a Saturday morning to take my car to get serviced for an alignment. They said that they were book for the day although no cars showed up. I told them they can take thier time as I am a mechanic and don't like being rushed when I have a job and would prefer them to do it right than rushed. They didn't have time the whole day so called back and told me that they needed another day. I let them know that would be fine but I would need my car back before the end of the next day. They said we're going to get it done first thing the next day. It is the next day and it's 5pm I call them and told them so what's up with the car. They didn't even start on the car. This is disappointing as an alignment does not take this long I would do it myself but the cost of the machine is expensive being the reason that I took it to them. They are not time efficient or professional when carrying out their appointments I highly recommend you seek other services. When you also look at their car recommendations for your vehicle oil change, coolant change, They scam you They overcharge you for literally an hour job costing you $500 and above when the stuff might cost you max $100 dollars for everything.Service: Wheel alignment

Arrived at 12:05 for a 12:00 appointment I made a week in advance. The guy told me it would be a couple hours. I came back at 3:30, a hour after he said so I wouldn t have to wait, he said my car was next up , meaning they didn t even begin to work on my car until FOUR hours after my schedules appointment. Didn t leave until 6 PM. How can they be FOUR hours behind by noon? Zero apology or acknowledgement from anyone there that they were behind schedule or wasting my whole afternoon.Service: Wheel alignment

Even though I overslept for my 9am appointment , I called to say I would be there by 9:15, but got there shy of 9:30, the staff still accommodated me no less. I was checked in & service complete within an 1.5 hrs. where I was expecting @ least wow Totally satisfied and happy! Thank you to the entire staff

Don t come here when you need an inspection for ride share. They asked me for an inspection sheet nobody mentioned before. Those sheets are accessible online but they refused to print it. The workers here have no motivation to make things work, they don t care, absolutely no problem solving skills. Good luck getting your car serviced here. Eventually I took the business elsewhere. I was in and out within 20 minutes, and they provided that sheet for me without even asking.

They do great work but plan on leaving your vehicle instead of waiting because they take forever but I imagine it's because they get a lot of business for their jobs well done.

1st time at this location. Sadly the Carson location closed down. My appointment was at 10 am and it is now 12:46 pm and it has not been serviced. Still parked and waiting. All this time with an appointment for an alignment. SMH

Went in to get an inspection. I was told to make an appointment. I made an appointment. I was told that appointment wasn t convenient for them. They said to bring it in 5 hours or more earlier than the appointment. What s the point of appointments then?

Management is unprofessional.They my Cancel my appt and told me I supposed to make appt days in advance? Make me drive for nothing!! Their better places with helpful people somewhere alse. Save time and money around the corner!!!!

They messed up my key fob my key ring was stretched out or looks switch to me, brought it in working order and when I went to pick it up I can't unlock or lock my car with the key fob and I noticed 1 of my buttons was pushed in. So I am not coming back here They can't take care of my key fob red flag. And when I called to let them know about it I was on hold for about almost 8 mins

Do not go to this shop. The guy who worked the counter on Friday November 27 does not what he s doing. I brought my tire and asked to buy a tire from them. They gave me the tire but when I asked if he can put on the rim he said they can t do it today. I asked why and he said that there are two other cars ahead of me that need all need their tires changed. I t really only takes 5 minutes to put a tire on the rim with the machine. If the technicians were busy he could have done it himself. Looking back he probably didn t know how to use the machine. If if you have the idea that he couldn t have helped me because he couldn t leave the counter, that is false because he literally carried the tire to my car. All that time he was doing that he could have just put my tire on my rim. The tire wasn t even attached to my car. I ended up taking it to a local shop and they changed it in 5 minutes, he also took off my spare and only charged me $10 for everything. Do not go to this Firestone.Service: Tires

This Firestone has been here for decades and the reason why they have lasted here is because they are honest and thorough. The pricing is a little high but they love to give coupons which is one of the deciding factors for me. This is yet another Gardena establishment my family and I have been using.
