Replaced my distributer on my 98 civic but I couldn t properly tune it. Mr. Kim did it in less that 10 minutes and helped diagnose a number of other issues for an incredibly fair price. My family has been coming to Mr Kim for over 20 years, since his other location. He's a great professional who takes great care of your car. He doesn't charge you for unnecessary things and his prices are very good. It can get pretty busy sometimes but he still gets you in and out as fast as he can. Plus Mr Kim is also such a wonderfully kind nice person! Highly recommend!

My family has been coming here for 20+ years and has been getting great service!Check engine light has stayed on and they figured out the root causes and fixed those issues instead of replacing the whole part so I definitely saved money.Mr. Kim is truly professional and honest with his work. Traumatised experience!Yelling at the customer who just saw and not knowing well ! Angry and screaming to the customer all of sudden who just asked that " please look my car first since I got here ahead of the other.He yelled at me that " go somewhere if you cannot wait, I have enough customers".What kind of customer service he does. LOL...My chest was hurt and heart is still pounding.I am going to see My doctor to get treat for the anxiey from the traumatic experience.Yes.. I went earlier than the other people. Mr. KIM, You don't even know what you did wrong.

Mr. Kim, the owner/mechanic was actually VERY professional! Not only he was professional but was also very eager to help and be direct and honest. I went to a shop in LA before coming to Mr. Kim for an inspection because my car's A/C was not producing any cold air but only warm air. The guy in LA told me it could cost up to $500 because of a wiring issue. Unlike him, Mr. Kim identified that the issue was actually the fuse, not the wiring. He had the proper part and fix the issue in less than 20 minutes. Everyone at the shop was asked and required to wear a mask. They were helped in an orderly fashion. I highly recommend this shop. It could get crowded on the weekend but if you are looking for a mechanic who is honest, on-point, and professional, this is it. Best mechanic in OC. I only trust this place for my all 3 vehicles. My Sienna has over 220,000 miles and Mr. Kim taking care of this vehicle since the beginning. Mr. Kim only uses genuine OEM parts for all repairs. I recommend Kim's Auto Service for all repairs plus always Mr. Kim diagnose any problem free when I have to pay minimum of $120 at any dealership.

Kim gives each customer his personal attention and explains alternatives to them to save them money. He saved my old car at a reasonable price when others shops wanted me to sell the farm or retire the car. This is my family s go to place whenever we have an issues on our two old :) cars past 30 years.Mine is Toyota Land Cruiser 2005 with milegage of 280,000 mileage and the other one is Acura MDX 2007 of 180,000 mileage and we really need someone we can trust.Mr. Kim and his team is such a respectful people my family can trust and I know I can trust them whenever I brought my car.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto detailing, Wheel alignment, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change

Great service! Check engine light came on in my car, and I needed to get it fixed.Went above and beyond to check for all solutions, even though it wasn't straightforward (and I ended up saving a bunch of money). Plus, he made sure I understood what was wrong with my car throughout the process.Cannot recommend higher. Mr. Kim is truly the most honest mechanic you can find. Whenever I take my car in he is always very busy but I never have to wait too long. The whole team is very friendly and professional. I have also recommended him to others.

Beware peoples!!!!This place only good for a simple oil changes or Air filter replacement. Nothing more ..Look at inside the DARK garage that you can barely see a person next you. Wonder how those techs fix a cars in the DARK room!!!!Very unprofessional and 1960 s style Service: Engine repair

I've coming to this repair shop over the past 10 years, and it is the only place that I'd trust with quality of the work and Mr Kim's honesty. He always explains and goes over what will be performed so that I am aware and understand the procedures. He never upsell sells any work and always insist on using OEM parts. And I really appreciate that. I've referred many of my friends whenever they need general maintenance and repair done, and all of them were satisfied.On my recent visit, I saw that Mr Kim and all of the mechanics were wearing mask and observed social distancing, and it made me feel very safe to come here even during this Covid19 times! I have been with his service for last 30 years.He knows what service my car need for.He is kind and friendly to everyone.His shop and mechanics are full of energy.Charge for service is reasonable.You never find any better place in this town.I live in Huntington Beach.

Been taking my cars to Mr Kim for over 20 years. not once did he disappoint. I trust him because he is am honest man. Other places wants to make money so they always upsell you for this and that. Mr. Kim never upsells. Few times I had to go to places near me for emergency oil change. They tried to upsell me for brakes, Trans oil, belts. After an oil change, I took the car to Mr Kim and told him what other shops told me. He looked at it and said no reason to change any of them because plenty more to go on. One time I asked him why he doesn't try to upsell like others. He said why change when it is still good? If I'm honest, I'm pretty sure you will continue to give me business, he said. Yea, so I don't have any complaints. We are like friends now. I have used Kim for my car repair since 2008. My 2000 Toyota Sienna runs like champ- all because of Kim s care. I live in Arizona now but I still drove to Kim s Autoshop for checking my car condition in June 2021. Mr. Kim and his staff are professionals who get what you need done. They understand what needs to be fixed or replaced and always recommend what they think will be most cost effective, which allowed me to save a lot of repair costs over the past few years they've serviced us. Can't recommend highly enough.

I highly recommend Kim's Auto for your auto maintenance needs, such as oil change, smog test, diagnosis, etc.In my opinion, service and price are reasonable. Not too outrageously expensive, and not too suspiciously lowball either. You want your car to be worked on by honest mechanics who do this for a living, right??? I think Kim's Auto offers this. Also, the owner (Mr. Kim) gives you practical solutions for your car troubles, so I recommend that you at least approach him and ask him what he can do for your car troubles, within your budget.As FYI, as everyone knows, Saturday is typically the busiest day of the week for many auto shops, and Kim's Auto is no exception, so allow some extra time while waiting for your service on Saturdays. There's free Wi-Fi, or you can sit back and watch some Korean TV if you are into that.Most importantly, Mr. Kim is an old school car mechanic (but, he's not too cranky either), so try not to jump on him with a pretentious BS attitude on your first visit, and he will deal with you straight as well. I moved from Gardena to Cypress September 2018. In the same mission group One sister who live in Orange County for a long time introduced me "Kim'sAuto".I have two old.Lexus RX300 1999 year, 247k miles ,Chevolet Silverado 1500 2002year 198k miles.I met the best skillfull and most honest auto mechanic since 1986 in America.There are showing all parts that was repaired and also using "genuine part".Also he never stop to study about new technology.Best thing is a good price and save a big money.On the wall in the office You can seeall the professional licenses.Mr.Kim is not my relative,Korean's Last name Kim,Lee,Park is over 50% of all Korean.Also North Korean, "Kim Jung Un" is not my relative.Now I have been lived in Santa Fe Springs since June last year.I always visit him when have problems and service in auto.Today Mr.Kim help to save a couple hundred dollars in my Silverado's Smog check.I recommend Kim's Auto to all my friends with a full confidence.Thanks a million ! Guy was in a bad mood when we arrived, while waiting for him to attend us, he helped other people that arrived after us. After almost an hour, he turned to us with an attitude and said "I'm not going to help you today, I haven't even had lunch so leave, just go" so we left and found someone willing to help down the street.Guess the guy has enough customers to spare, but little advice....don't take your bad day out on customers.

I had most satisfaction with quality, progress, results and economically repair in Westminster. I always get crazy high cost repair fees from other body shop and get ripped off but this place was truly picked on what I really needs to fixed. helped me alot. Thank you Mr. Kim

Charge double on part. All fake fixed. I will definitely call and make compliments to B.BB. Do not go if you want to give him Money for no reason.
