Got my car painted here a year ago and have had numerous issues. To start off, the estimated completion date kept being pushed back. I expected the paintjob to be perfect since the owner, Sergio, needed more time. However when I got the car back it had numerous imperfections all over. The hood which was a brand new hood I had installed before dropping off the car had 2 large cracks in the fiberglass. I pointed this out to him along with the many other imperfections. He informed me that fiberglass tends to crack easily however the couple times I visited the shop while the car was being painted, Sergio had left heavy tools on my hood. He agreed to repair and repaint the hood however it cracked AGAIN in the same 2 areas not even a month later. Prior to painting the car he assured me that he offers 3 years warranty on his work along with ceramic coating ( customer must provide supplies ) After getting my car back and paying him, 3 year warranty was forgotten and he said he wont ceramic coat my car because "there's too much dust at his shop". Not sure why he promised ceramic coat was included in the first place then. He kept increasing the price as well, not by a couple hundred but by a thousand. My taillights that were brand new also had scratches all over after I picked the car up since Sergio thought it was a good idea to leave them laying around outside where they could easily get damaged. A year later, the paint has faded and it's clear to see that cheap paint was used. Despite going through all this I stopped by Soto Auto Body and Collision again to get my bumper repainted since it recently got damaged. Sergio told me I need to get it repaired first because the $60 glue he uses will not hold up. Told him okay I'll get it repaired and come back. After getting the bumper repaired I tried contacting Sergio and was not able to get a hold of him. Called and texted numerous times with him leaving my texts on read. Only reason I came back here was because I didn't want my color to differ since it is a custom candy paint. Upon telling Sergio I would be leaving a yelp review he finally decided to reply a week later. Hate to leave negative reviews with people i've worked with but Sergio has been extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend him to anyone else due to poor customer service along with poor quality of work.Service: Painting
