I needed a Smog Star station certificate and after searching for the best price and quality I found Fullerton Smog Center. This is a star station which the DMV requires from you on instances for registration. The service was great Seung T the owner and Chuck the technician were courteous friendly and professional .My smog test was completed in 15 minutes and I was giving my star certificate. I recommend this business.

EDIT: Thurs May 24, 2018, 9:20AM*So I'm back again for state required Smog Check (ugh), and I was promptly greeted & given the discount without me mentioning it - See 3 new photos of updated water cooler, pricing, and receipt. This is by far the best smog shop I've been to, the owner is so genuine and down to earth. Success.Original starts here:I've been coming to Fullerton Smog for over 5 years (today Dec 28 2016). From the first time, the owner & his assistant were friendly, speedy, and neutral in their suggestions.Prices are very competitive. You'll get a discount on your first check, and will get some green coupons for future tests, good for $15 Off, for a Total around $40 (reg test).The place has FREE WiFi, coffee, cold water & AC ... and a TV. Also, great collection of model cars & photos, and fun magazines.Can you tell I like this place?Try em out. You will not be disappointed.

This place is a gem!! Never stand and wait at dmv for registration lost plates or anything like that. It doesn't do Drivers license but it is a blessing to know about this place. Smog check station and dmv services with great customer service.

I've been going here for about a decade now and I can't recommend them enough! You always get fair price (use the $15 coupon on their website), timely service, and friendly workers. I just noticed they offer other services too (registration renewal, title transfers, etc.)

I know it is not a glamorous place, but they get the job done quickly and professionally. The person in charge is always gracious to me as a senior. I come here for my DMV smog check every two years and will continue to do so.

Best smog prices around!!! In and out experience!!! Mechanic is honest and if you don't pass he will tell you why. This is literally the cheapest price for smog test only in town, literally don't look anywhere else!

My go-to smog check shop for past 7+years. The owner greets you with smile and is friendly, and he sends out coupon every single year just couple months before your renewal is due even you dont need one that year.The test takes under 10 minutes when it's not busy so I was in and out pretty quickly.If you've never been here, I suggest you to check it out this time.

Smog is one of those things that u have to do with any older vehicle. And if u have to do it, this place is great. It's a family operation with great service, low prices, and my 17 year old Chevy has never failed here

Small business, just the one guy doing all the work but he's amazing! 2 people ahead of me and I was still out in less than 30min! Great customer service! Car passed smog & it only costs me $45.

Only place for me for the last five years or so. Always easy in, easy out. Competent, quick service. Nice waiting room with complimentary water, small dish of candy, and magazines to read. They always give you a coupon for money off on return visits. Forgot the coupon? No worries, mention it and they'll take care of you (my experience, at least).

Good price. Good service. Not a fancy area, but who cares? $39.99 for a regular car with online coupon. I overhead a tech giving a customer that didn't pass some advice for how to fix his problem. Been coming here for years.

This is the best place for smog checks! Quick and friendly service along with great pricing = a good deal. I have been their customer for a few years now and very glad to have found them. Print out the $15 off online or they will give you $10 off instead. Either way, it's hard to come close to their price.

December 14, 2022 --- Drove a 2013 Hyundai to Fullerton Smog Center. I arrived around 9:10. Very fast, friendly service. I arrived home by 9:40. $54.95 for smog test

They are quick and will get you out of there quickly. Have been going to them for years now. Returning this year (2019) Still the same pleasant people there. Print out a coupon on the internet on their site for $15.00 off. Out the door it should cost around $39.95 with the coupon. After you visit the first time, they will send you one when it's time to test.

I ve been going to Fullerton Smog for 12 years. We moved to the OC in 2005 and I got his coupon in the mail. Been going there ever since. The owner is Asian who is a very hard working, energetic person and he used to work there by himself but the last 3 years, the owner has hired a younger and energetic young person who is just as pleasant as the owner. I normally wait 10-15 minutes and I m done. They are very nice and work is so efficient and effective. I go to their place every year because I have an odd and even year car. Good place for a quick smog check and I know for those folks who fail the test, there are automotive shops next door that can help fix your vehicle. One stop auto place.

I used to bring all of my family vehicles here for Smog inspection, and always loved the great service and good prices they had, but after Covid hit, I noticed new different people and less proffesionalism. Now they don't offer Free Retest if your vehicle don't pass, you have to pay another $30 for retest within 15 days plus certificate which sucks! So I go somewhere else cause most star stations still offer free restest withing certain days and just pay for your certificate.

With their $15 off coupon they're the same price as every other smog place. I've been going there for years because the location is convenient, but recently they charged me full price for a check that didn't get past plugging in a device to check for warnings, taking 30 seconds. I went to another place where they didn't do the check or charge me when it didn't pass the 30 second check.

First time coming in last week because I was selling my 2010 Toyota Corolla, which passed with flying colors by the way. I came because I've never seen an automotive place on Yelp with over 10 or 15 ratings. This had 77!!!They couple who owns the place were very friendly and accommodating. The service was also fast. The best part is, they charged me a little over half of what I used to pay this guy I've known FOR YEARS in Buena Park.Therefore, I totally wouldn't mind driving an additional 10 minutes just to come back to this place. I told my dad that same day last week to go to this place from now on.

Hands down the best and most honest smog place in Fullerton!This place is fantastic. I ve been there 3 times now (different vehicles) and it was very quick each time, well priced, and no BS on random fees or exclusions on coupons from several of the other smog places in Fullerton.HIGHLY recommend it. I found this company online because I was shopping for a place that wasn't too expensive or far away. I live in La Habra and I own an older vehicle, so I was worried about the price. Not only is this company not far from home, but they were much more affordable than other shops in the area. Ironically, I used to live not far from their location. The shop is neat and comfortable, with lots of pictures and scale models of old Chevys. I'm an old Chevy guy, so I felt at home there. The people who run the shop are very friendly and they really try to satisfy each customer with good prices and good service. The smog check didn't take long at all and my old car passed with flying colors. I would recommend this shop to anyone - especially if they have an older vehicle. It's hard to find places like this nowadays.

Their service was quick and they were very kind and helpful. Finding places like this, with genuinely nice people who work there seems like a rarity these days, and this smog center is one of those rarities. I will be referring friends and family here when a smog is needed.

I've gone here for all my smog inspections for a while now. They're nice, professional, and prompt with their service. Make sure you have their coupon printed or ready to go on your phone to get a discount off your test. The coupon is available on their website.

When you have to get your car smogged, you want the experience to be quick and painless. The Fullerton Smog Center is those things and one more: pleasant.The staff are friendly and informative; the waiting area is comfortable and clean with lots of chairs. They even have two display cases of interesting vintage items to look at, as well as cool photographs on the wall.They do everything possible to make the chore of smogging your car irritation-free. So much so, that I always find myself saying, That s it? when my car is ready to go.My husband and I have been going there for years, and a coupon for savings on the service always arrives in our email inbox just before we need it.

This place is quick and online they have a coupon for their services. I went there the first time with a friend because she needed a star smog center, so this place satisfied that dmv requirement. However, if you don't need a star smig check, there are other fast, but cheaper locations in the area. I took my out of state car there because it was on the way to the dmv, where I needed to get another inspection. The service was fast and courteous and the location in regards to the dmv is convenient, but I feel like I could've saved 15-20 dollars by going to my regular smog shop. Also, as my car is lowered, getting in and out of that steep, narrow-ish driveway into the parking lot (which is shared by multiple businesses-there isn't parking, but the smog guys take care of it for you, so all you do is pull in front of the business and they take care of parking your car) is extremely stressful and I think I scraped the middle of my side skirts despite trying to pull out at an extreme angle to avoid doing just that.
