I believe Bona is a fair mechanic. He will give you a reasonable price for any car repairs you need. He is good and honest and will not swindle you for money. He cares for his business and will not ruin his reputation just to make a quick buck. I've seen most of his customers are repeat customers who the same like me trust their cars with.

Bona's was recommended by a friend to me after a string of horrible mechanic experiences that left me distrusting and more than a thousand dollars in the hole for repairs I did not need. These guys have cared for my older cars for the last 8 months now and I have been very pleased all-around. They are up-front and honest, offer you options on repair priorities, and are thorough. Good people that deserve your business at Bona's.

Bona's is the best! It is so nice to have a great mechanic when you have an older car with high milage like I do. They have always take very good care of my family and we trust them implicitly. It sucks when your car needs work but its nice to have a place to go that really wants you to be happy.

This is a great place, and I get all my routine maintenance here. Bona himself is a really nice guy, and as honest and hardworking as they come. Marisa, his wife, is also extremely friendly. Above all, Bona and his compatriots do very good work, and quickly. I have never needed any major repairs since I started coming here about three years ago, but if I did I wouldn't hesitate to bring my car here and I'm confident he'd do a great job. Every time I return, I leave happier than ever with the service, happy with the price I paid, and with the confidence that nothing was missed. If you are looking for a straight up honest, inexpensive, knowledgeable and skillful mechanic, you'd be nuts to go elsewhere.Note that it is back in the corner of a complex of autoshops, so the shop isn't immediately obvious from the street, but it is definitely worth the effort to find it.

Bona is very knowledgeable and does not overcharge for any repairs. Great place to get your car fixed. I bring my Lexus to him whenever needed.

Best shop I've experienced in my time as a car owner. They have consistently lower prices than other shops, always finish when they say they will, and never have I brought my car in and left with a new problem unlike some other places that "fix" of your car. They won't try to upsell you or fix anything that doesnt need fixing. Definitely the most honest and fair shop around the OC area.

I've never left a review before but after visiting this place i had to lol. First of all they charge me 40 $ just to see what is wrong with my car when auto zone offers that service for free. Secondly they tried charging me 190 $ to change my brakes cuz they were "worn out" and when i changed them myself with help of my brother of course, they still had 3+ months in them... Over all id rate this place half of a quarter of a star but they dont have that option.

Bona and Marissa are awesome good customer service reasonable prices.They get the job done and they do it well. Very professional. I'm definitely coming back here for all my auto needs.

Always great service with very reasonable prices. Never got pressured into upsells or unnecessary work, and occasionally got minor repairs (e.g., loose headlight mount) done for free during routine maintenance.

I've had a few major repairs performed on my car, here. The owner is fair, knowledgeable and fixes were performed in a reasonable amount of time.
