I have been a long-time customer and was always happy with the customer service. During the pandemic, they had a staff change and the service had dropped off so bad that I was debating on going back. However, I had a problem with my car and decided to give them one more chance points were gained when I was able to set up an appointment and when I came in I was not turned away and given an excuse as to what they couldn't take my car. I was happy with the professionalism of the Service Manager and that they were able to give me an honest assessment of how long it would take to repair my car and still at a good price. Keep up the good work I am happy to see that you can recover and deliver outstanding customer service.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

I have taken our vehicles to them for many years. I trust them. They have always given us good honest advice . Eric answers the phone in the garage. He explains well enough . I just took my 98 LS400 Lexus for a new starter. They did a great job and the price was very reasonable. Thank you to all the crew at Sebring West for a good honest job. Update 10 - 25 - 2022 Found out they closed for good. :(

I have been doing business with Sebring West for a number of years and have had the best experiences with them. They are friendly, helpful and professional. If I leave my car and there is a small issue, I always receive a phone call detailing the issue and the cost involved. I never have to worry about the quality of work done, as I know it will be great. I am extremely happy taking my car to them and will continue to do so. The added bonus is the shuttle service, a very nice touch. EXCELLENT JOB!!!

This is defiantly the place to go for all your hard to find VW parts here locally . Unlike a lot of other auto parts stores the staff here is very knowledgeable and can actually give you the right answers to any questions you may have

I have never been to Sebring West before and have been referred here by a trusted mechanic for bearing and differential work. I am reading the reviews because I am wondering if I've made the right decision to take it here. So far I have only set an appointment by phone and the service person was very professional and knowledgeable. I will let y"all know more after my experience with them tomorrow. So far so good!

Nice polite people love that they do everything by hand and check everything manually instead of how nowadays thanks to technology all the new mechanics rely on machines and codes not here. These people are old school check everything literally by hand and let you know exactly what's wrong with the car and if they can't find it they'll let you know too they won't BS you. Only drawback which if you can even call it a drawback against them is you have to call them to check on your car instead of them calling you sometimes but I let that pass because they answer the phone right away anyways and it's your car so of course you should be checking on it and since they do everything by hand instead of machine their probably just busier too. Wonderful place if you want old school no matter what the price you just want it done don't have to worry about it for a long time this is the place right here

This was my first experience bringing my Jetta here for repairs and a minor tune up. I was very impressed. That service was superb, it was timely, and the employees were very professional and helpful. I will most definitely be taking my car there again and be recommending them to them VW owners.

They misdiagnosed my vehicles failure to start. Said it needed a PCM. Part not available locally. Waited weeks for part to arrive. They said labor to install the PCM would be about $50. and 30 minutes of work. The bill they presented to me was for $160. not $50. My car was in their shop a total of 68 days. They would not return the old battery that they replaced unless I paid a fee. I can give them credit for taking the time to patiently explain the diagnosis but the quote for the PCM labor was way off. Because of my lack of transportation I was unable to sign an estimate and they took full advantage of that. They are understaffed and display no sense of urgency. 68 days without transportation, $110. misquote and failure to return to me the dead battery that they replaced is why I would not recommend Sebring West.

I have been a Sebring West customer for many years and have always had excellent experiences. The service department communicates clearly all issues and solutions, and prices are fair. I recommended Sebring West to my husband when he was at the end of his rope with other mechanics; he gave them a try and he is more in love than ever with his 1984 Chevy pick up.

1st impression courteous, tired and helpful. Will let everyone know how they handle me & work orders are done! If they speak to me a as fellow mechanic or a women that don't know anything. I allowed my smog license lapse in 2016. For dog inspection & smog diagnostic failures. So we will see.

The guys at Sebring West are fantastic. I was having problems with my jeep and went to another shop. After many hours of them looking at it, they said it was fixed. I drove it around the block and the problem still existed Went to Sebring West and explained the issues I was having. They took the jeep for a test drive and had it fixed that afternoon. They knew what to look for from my description of the problem. I will definitely be coming back to Sebring West and will highly recommend them to my friends. They are friendly and reasonably priced. thanks Sebring West.

I came here to replace my catalytic converter on my honda, normally I would go to my mechanic for anything but he wanted me to order the parts and he would install them but that was going to cost me more so I came here instead. It was cheaper than me ordering the parts myelf I felt like these people were professional and friendly and charged me a fair price. I m happy overall and now my car is good to go and will definitely keep this place in mind next time I have an issue that my mechanic is unable to do or fix. Thank you guys it was a pleasure doing business with you.

Great option for the aircooled community. Was able to get my car up and running and the personnel working there were able to answer my questions. Will shop there often.

These guys know their stuff. They're not even in the same town as me but I will drive there to get my parts from now on. They are extremely helpful, and we're very patient with my two daughters who were a little bit hyper. I would recommend anybody trying to buy their parts here first, you won't be disappointed.

Horrible experience. Took my 1959 vw in for clutch cable and throttle cable replacement. First, the service guy told me that normally they only let the customers use parts that are purchased at their facility but he'd let me slide since of course they don't carry the parts I needed. Then they had the car three days and finally called to tell me that it was going to be a 2 1/2 hour job to change out the parts. I have done it myself in the past in less than an hour and a half but since I didn't want to do it I said ok. Then after ANOTHER three days the service manager called to tell me that they couldn't do it because the tube for the throttle cable was broken and it had to go to a custom shop to get the tunnel cut(total crap as I have now installed both myself in less than two hours) but that they said I still had to pay $200! When I went to get the car it was obvious they had done NOTHING to the car. NOTHING! But still wanted $200? CROOKS!! The service manager said that the owners son was good at vintage vws and he told them this nonsense! I had the car towed out to my place. Total waste of time!

I took my 2002 Toyota Corolla here for diagnostic. I told them the history of the car, what I felt was wrong, what I heard might be the cause, and to please give it a total run down..I was shocked. They didn't lie to me at all. They did not try and sell me parts I didn't need. In fact, the most expensive repairs I was pretty sure I needed (because a couple places said I did but I didn't trust THEM) they told me I didn't need and gave me a list of reasons that'd likely be tough to BS -- on why I did NOT need them.All in all -- I wouldn't hesitate to go back after getting my estimates. They also knocked my estimate down from $135 to $90 -- so that was a pleasant surprise. I wouldn't hesitate to send people here.They're local, they're honest, and they're fast.

I have been a customer for over 6 years. I hate dealing with car trouble but these guys make it very simple and I never feel cheated. They tell me what I NEED to get done and what I SHOULD get done. I am amazed at the turn around time and love the free shuttle service.I drive a 1998 Toyota 4 runner with over 160,000 miles, I've been in a few times.Honest and fixed right the first time every time for me. I wont go anywhere else.

Only time I have used them was today. My problem with them would be one thing thus far, They don t support the Military. When I asked If they do military discounts, they guy at the counter stated, I m already giving you the part s at low sale. I told him you either support the military or you don t. You can t individually price items for discounts. Either support the military or not. He restated but I m giving you the parts at a low price. I told him again it s a yes or no question. Either you support the military and all the individuals that have risk their lives for our country or not. That is the bottom line for a yes or no question, not individually comparing prices for every item in the store that can receive a discount or not. Bottom line is that they don t support the military. There re other places you can buy parts and receive a discount that will make your total much lower then what they offer.

Broke down on the 5 and got my car towed here. They took care of me and let me leave my car in their back lot until I could get a tow to come pick it up. Jesus and Eric were super friendly and helpful.

Finally found a good shop that I can take my cars to. I took my honda s2000 in because it was stalling among other problems it was having and they fixed it. Now it runs awesome. It was a little expensive, but if you want something done right it's worth it. I will be doing more business with them in the future.

Took my van in for a road trip inspection and specifically asked for the battery to be tested (my van was showing signs of a bad battery). A few days later my car wasn't starting, I got it jumped at went to test the battery at AutoZone where they told me it was bad, warping, and leaking acid ..... I do not recommend this shop at all.Service: General repairs & maintenance

went to this shop to have my gas gauge fixed on my 1970 vw along with an adjustment to the valves. car was completed the same day. mechanic called once to say the work was complete. picked up car checked the work. none of the wires were changed. everything was just as I had left it.as for valve adjustment I spent the next weekend fixing everything my self.I would not recommend taking any car for service these so called mechanics clearly have no idea what they are doing.

if you are not a regular customer be prepared for the standard VW enthusiast prima donna treatment from the D-bags who run this place. if it weren't for the guy who helped me (he wasn't even doing his normal job but was at least friendly and helpful) i would have dropped a deuce here instead. for the guy who didn't totally suck for the simple fact they specialize in VWminus ( ) for multiple employees over 40 years old with ponytails who act like their don't stink

They should not be diagnosing cars unless they have ALL the updated tools, software and equipment needed to give the diagnosis the customer paid for. Saying you did XYZ, then saying we can only do so much because we don't have the updated VAGcom "AFTER THE FACT" when you are billing the customer is shady. YOU 100% Know going, accepting the job what you are capable of doing, and not doing.Knowingly taking money from someone knowing you cannot deliver and it will "have to go to the dealer" is pushing the envelope of fraud if you ask me.Will not be back again. And will not recommend them either.*** update 12/11/18 got my money back via charge back for fraud, confirmed with VW USA they do not have the correct vagcom other then to do simple code reading and have NO Business doing electrical or ECM diagnosing PERIOD. ***

Are there negative stars? The most unprofessional, unethical shop I have ever come across in my life..period. After taking the car back 3 times for a repair that was not performed properly, it still is not right. They ALSO continued to find things they said were wrong and needed to be fixed, not true. I am a part time mechanic that doesn't have the tools to work on this particular make, nor do I want to...but I do know what I'm talking about. If Darryl and Brian put as much effort into working on your car as they do lying to you when they get caught, they would be the best shop in town. I am over 50...I have never filed any complaint with the BAR..this will be my first.

Been dealing with Sebring for over 20 years as a VW trike builder. They are the best for parts and are helpful with advice. I have always been satisfied and pleased with them

The place is a TOO AVOID! The quality of parts sucks. THe amount of money we have spent on re_repairs getting rid of the garbage that Seibring sold us is vast.Plus the staff including the tall balding idiot who hides in that small office behind the counter, acts as if we are doing THEM a favour coming into this establishment.The parts are low quality. The knowledge of staff is poor. We actually found better pricing and better parts at Autozone, Pepboys and others.Whoever runs this joint better wake up.Maybe a class action lawsuit pertaining to poor quality parts is in order. Let the owner defend his actions in court./c

Took in a vehicle which stayed over night for 300$, could not find the problem. Went straight to another shop who used a code reader, in five minutes found code for bad spark plug.
