Went here this past weekend to get squeaky brakes checked out. They determined that the rear brakes needed replacing, rotors resurfaced - done and done in about an hour.Come Monday it's now making an odd noise whenever I brake. Uh oh! Turns out the rotors were a bit too worn and didn't take the resurface as hoped. So why the 5 stars? Because they agreed to take a look and make additional repairs despite being very busy.Adrian helped me and was great to work with. He got it fixed straight away. I feel I can trust this Pep Boys to make repairs and take responsibility if repairs don't go as expected. I will be returning for routine maintenance in the future.

They gave a summary of my complimentary inspection with false information. They never did an inspection on my car. If they did they would ve seen that my tires psi was extremely low (but they input a random number instead and put that my tires were good). thankfully I noticed because that was one thing I needed more info about (if I needed a new tire). Yet they pretended like nothing was wrong with my car. I went back inside to ask them to recheck my tire pressure and I was correct, they never checked it. I will not be returning to this location due to lack of trust. Thankfully there is nothing else wrong with my vehicle, well atleast I hope not

I give them a 5 star for their excellent service. I was able to make an appointment five days ahead of needing the service. I have a BMW and they phoned me that they did have a special tech for my brake inspections and repair. The manager gave me good advice and we talked about my next service.

Lol I went to pep boys for some simple wheel hardware. The manager to me he couldn t. I went to pep boys two years before for trailer hardware. I went to oreillys and found exactly what I needed.

Look Alex really helped me out and made sure I was taken care of . They got the car done in a timely manner. They never pushed a hidden agenda. They made me feel very welcome. I would recommend this pep boys for sure

Hit or miss. I have mixed feelings and experiences but I think I'll agree with a prior review Jp was unnecessarily rude and bothered during my previous visit. He complained about my 1pm appointment being so late and I told him one thing and he told the techs another. He tried to make it seem like I didn't know anything and I didn't know what I made my appointment for. Today, I am getting an alignment, rotation and balance. Not very busy but it is taking a while since the tech went on his lunch break. They are very short on staff and have guys from others stores coming in to fill the spot. The younger guys that are usually there are really nice and cool. They are overwhelmed though so if you have experience apply and help them to lighten the load. The lifetime options for services are totally worth it. They have free tire rotation which I always take advantage has well as the alignment checks.

This place is a joke, customer service is nonexistent here. I bought tires three weeks ago and I asked if there was a warranty with my tires due to a small hole I got. The manager Didn t bother looking up my previous order. I brought it in and said I tried to patch it and he didn t even bother looking all they said is that they would have to sell me a new one. The techs here are clowns

Great service. They were able to take a screw out of my tire right before closing. If it wasn t for the staff, I wouldn t have known I didn t have the wheel lock for my tires. Things could have been way worse if I had a flat on the side of the road. Two thumbs up

I set up an appointment 6 hours prior to the appointment time, got the confirmation, waited and then drove 65 miles to the appointment. Only to find out that they did not receive the notification via computer yet. However, they did take my car in and preform the oil change.

My niece took her car in and they saw this young girl coming a mile away. Lied to her to make a sale, told her she had the wrong brake pads on her vehicle that she drove in with and told her she needs new pads that are correct for her car to be safe, then sells her the exact same pads that were already on her car. Very dishonest place that takes advantage of women.

Something I really appreciated was their clear and timely communication. Within an hour of dropping off my vehicle, I was contacted by one of their team with information on the state of my vehicle, recommendations for high-priority repairs, information on less-pressing but still important repairs down the line, and a request for permission to fix an issue that had been discovered.I greatly appreciate the speed at which they work, their clarity of communication, and their decision to wait for go-ahead from a customer after explaining new developments during the process of repairs. I went to pep-boys expecting to be borrowing a friend's car for a day or two, but instead had mine returned to me within 5 hours of drop-off, and only that late because I was slow in responding to their calls.

Coming from someone who never goes out of his way to write a review it was an all around bad experience. From going online at 3:00pm to schedule an oil change only to see there s one open time available at 6:30 pm so I have to wait until then just to Arrive to the shop to be told they were going to call me to cancel because there techs are gone for the day never called me and never apologized for the inconvenience. why only have that time available if it was too late? Being that I m understanding I just let it go and set up an appointment with the employee for the next day at 4 come in at that time to be told that my tires are to big for the free tire rotation and that the tech is still on lunch so could be up to hour and a half wait like I m confused why schedule me on someone s lunch time basically just felt like I was bothering them by coming in this was my first experience with pep boys and it all around just wasn t good at all. Ps watched the whole process most of the time was spent standing around said he torqued my wheels to 140 literally never touched my wheels.

Took car in due to flat tire which had to get replaced because of location. Took 4 1/2 hours.Had to go back due to TPMS warning they let me leave without telling me they broke sensor..Had to get sensors replaced after I threw a fit

The never seem to get things right, I forget why I don't like them until I try to schedule a service with them, then it all comes back. Just do the simple request from a paying customer. Lazy reps never want to do inventory or price checks.

Went to get a wheel alignment just to waste my time. Went back the next day and the manager state that the alignment machine wasn t calibrated correctly due to a bolt has fallen into the alignment rack.

Since the appointment, I've been experiencing a concerning problem. My car's engine has been making unusual noises, especially when I accelerate. Upon inspection, I noticed that the air filter cover was not properly closed or attached after the service. This has led to my engine drawing in dirty air, likely contributing to the noise and potentially affecting its performance.

Great service, communication was excellent. I just moved to Fresno and needed a place to get my work van serviced since it s out of warranty and the customer service at the dealership level is lacking. Pep Boys was exactly what I was looking for.

They did what I came into for but the rudest guy possible met me at the start, Alex needs to find a different line of work if he can t even greet people. Literal conversation I walk to the empty counter hey boss how s it going im- immediately cuts me off with theres someone ahead of you and just continues to work. I m not asking to get waited on hand and foot but how am I supposed to know when it s an empty lobby? A simple we will be right with you someone else is ahead of you or literally anything else. Terrible way to start my visit but they did change the tires and everything in a timely manner

I DO NOT recommend having service to your car done here. I was charged for replacement and labor of the front right control arm in late October. It was not put on properly and a few weeks ago I was left stranded with my front right wheels almost falling off. The work was performed by a technician and the store manager, Kim Chan, was telling me he could do nothing to rectify the situation because I had not taken my vehicle back to them. I got a ride to work, and thankfully my father had it towed to a reputable mechanic where it was repaired properly. However, they noticed I now have rotors that need repair. It cost $700 at Pep Boys, $265 for the part $500 for the labor and it literally was holding on by one loose bolt. Two were missing. Horrible experience. Never again!

Never coming back: made an appointment for 12:30. My husband got there 15 mins early. He was informed there was 2 cars ahead of him which is fine. I normally wait an hour no more then 2 when I get my oil change. Time kept passing and I m at work, my husband texts me close to 2 pm saying my car hasn t been looked at yet. I told him to ask what was going on. They informed him they were short staffed. But prior to him getting there, they serviced 2 other cars that got there after him. They told him the person who was supposed to come in never showed up and my car will be finished around 4-5! Why have an available time open when pep boys can t keep up? I told him to ask for the car keys and leave. They asked if we wanted to reschedule. Of course not. Never coming back. Worst place and horrible customer service. Everywhere is short staffed by at least communicate with your customers.

I went to get my brakes changed, they did the front and the back ones, my breaks were screeching and screaming when I picked up my car, I called back for them to be rude and mean. I ended up going to the pep boys on Shaw right next to Costco since I no longer trusted that location on blackstone. They had horrible customer service from the moment I tried to make an appointment, they even cancel my appointment the first time when I went in because they had a call out and they didn t think of calling and informing me so I just wasted my time. They literally left a bolt off on my caliber, don t trust this location

they look for any reason to not honor their warrantees on tires. every thing we asked they had an exscuse for. pointless to have a warrantee if you cant use it because the shop doesnt want to do the work
