This is the spot to go! Great experience. I didn t have an appointment, walked in, was greeted and walked through the entire process. Friendly staff, nothing but great things to say about them. I am definitely recommending them from now on to all friends and family.Service received: smog for DMV.

Extremely helpful to me! I was in shock when I called to inquire about getting my car smog tested, and the guy said We do it for free! I thought I misunderstood him. When I took my car there, he gave me a number to call and they asked me a few simple questions. Then they gave me a voucher number. Sure enough, the smog test was free. I highly recommend this place.

Worst service ever. Owner is disrespectful and rude. He slammed my hood out of rage for a mistake he made and now I have to repair my hood. I would not recommend this shop for any kind of services. Most of these 5 Stars out here are because they bribe you to give a fake good review for a $5.00 Discount.

The owner is a-straight forward man that s how people supposed to be. He told me he may not be able to fix I told him the situation then he said it ll pass smog which it did. I would totally come back and tell all my family and friends.

Angel who has helped me here with my car from day 1 is exactly what his nane is! He s an Angel . He is also professional, I ve seen him here at work. He s kind and he gets the job done every time! Hours aren't 9 to 5, & on Blackstone you could easily pass them by, as traffic gets heavy. My smog was done, quickly. The Clean Air Now program paid & had it not passed, they also would have issued a credit for $500 in repairs! That provides an incentive for a shop to fail you & cash in on the repair money. Contreraz didn't do that! I'll be back!!!

i have had several smog certifications with this shop and all have gone smooth with excellent results, Also k have had AC and auto repairs conducted with great results.

This guy doesn't like to work on Lexus brand and older vehicles even though I seen something a little older than mines in there but it wasn't a Lexus. So if you have a Lexus vehicle don't take it here. Go to Madera Tire and Auto Care they have great customer service wonderful people skills they are fast and friendly had my car done the same day and they don't turn no vehicles down.

Always a great place to take my vehicles for a smog check. Prompt and very friendly. My son's first car was a good feeling for him as everything went well with the smog. Strongly recommend to friends family and everyone who needs a smog or some car work.

My husband contacted Contreraz Smog & Auto to consult about troubleshooting my vehicle in order to repair the source causing the "Check Engine" light to trigger, which caused my vehicle to "Fail" smog inspection. Angel clearly explained each stage of the repairs, and accurately applied the State of California Voucher. Although it took a couple of additional instances to finally resolve the elusive source-it passed smog, and the "Check Engine" light remained off! Additionally, my vehicle has improved gas mileage and reduced the level of polluting emissions. We will definitely return for future Smog Test Services. Thank you!

Our experience was less than delightful. We met Mr. Contreras at a local event, explained our situation to him about our truck and why t would not pass smog.We received a voucher for up to $500 to fix the issue. My wife took our truck into the service center and immediately Mr. Contreras started telling my wife that the program may not cover the repairs. That was fine.We agreed to have the truck inspected and waited for the estimate of repairs (we still have not received a written estimate.) It took 3 weeks to get a denial from the voucher program.In our conversations he explained why the repair was denied (technicality in the fine print.)The fact of the matter is I was told that they may have to replace certain emission related parts to "get the approval" such as a catalytic converter.Don't waste your valuable time or money with this shady character. The shop's previous reputation was built by Mr. Contreras' father who has since passed on and the new owner does not hold to the same values , morals, ethics or principles.Before you get your vehicle repaired do your homework so you can avoid getting scammed like we almost did.

Walked in for a smog check, thinking I was going to pay over $100 but ended up with a FREE SMOG! thanks to the owner for letting me know that Clean Air program pays for our smog tests!It s a 3 minute process & that s it. If you also have a check engine light, they do free repairs too under that program *not all codes, but most!Definitely will be going back Thank you Mr. Contreraz

I Always Bring My 2019 Ford Escape Here.Angel Is Very Nice And Communication With Anyone That I See Go In! He Gets What Your Car Needs To Be Done On. They were horrible. They said they would fix our car and after we got it there they said the job was to big for them. And we told them what the problem was to begin with. I will never use them and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy

Stopped in here for a quick smog after having a cat replaced at my mechanic's nearby. Smog failed because mechanic failed to tell me the truck had to be driven around for a while. The owner recommended I drive to Table Mountain and back which did the trick. Truck passed with no issues. Owner was honest and very friendly and service was quick. Would definitely recommend.

Great Place to do business. Angel works on all my vehicles, and he is quick and honest. I would recommend everybody. He does about 30 smogs per month with our company. He will even pick up your vehicle, and deliver.

I took my car there for smog inspection and they were competent, pleasant, and did the inspection in a reasonable time period. I took my car there because they also do auto repair and I thought I may have had a vacuum leak that may fail my smog check and figured they could fix it if it didnt pass. But it did pass first time and no charges besides the smog test. So they have gained my trust and my future business. Needless to say, I recommend this business.

I take my car here whenever I need anything for it. Angel, the owner, is so polite and has excellent customer service. He explains everything. Being a single female it's really important to find a mechanic that won't take advantage of you. Angel is that mechanic!

I've had work on my Tahoe and the guys were great. They found the problem and got it fixed. I had a problem a few months after the initial work and found out the part was defective so they got a replacement and got it taken care of right away. Had a smog check done in under 30 minutes and will continue to take my truck and other cars to them.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Horrible customer service experience. I sent my mother to do my smog because I work and I'm not able to do the smog. However when she arrived she called me an a male was on the phone yelling at her I could hear him through the phone. I guess the reason he justified his behaviour was because she didn't have the renewal notice, however I was looking up that smog shops can look you up with the vin and license plate. I wanted to communicate with that guy to explain to him but I heard his response and the tone of his voice was so rude. I know its a hot day today but remember that customer service is the reason people continue to go to your business. I'm also in service of others and I have never yelled at anyone like that.

This place is AMAZING. My experience was SEAMLESS. Drove around town and stopped in because the prices were very reasonable and smog ended up being free thanks to the gentleman who helped me in the front!!
