My husband and I took his truck to have it checked the guy was very rude. I even heard him on the phone and he was very rude to the person he was talking to. After talking with my husband we decided not to take the truck back. He really shouldn't be helping customers.

They installed with transmission with first going out, I ve had nothing but problems after their install, and the best is the cut my warranty because my truck was low which was never mentioned to me. I do not recommend this place unless you want a headache or throw your money away.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Wow, I just called this place for quotes on torque converter replacement and overhaul service and the guy on the phone was rude. Acted like I was bothering him, I felt completely UNWELCOMED. I will not be going here. Very expensive pricing and he acted overwhelmed just giving a quote. Imagine this guy doing actual wok. What a complainer.

Steve was great with email responses on my questions, Car is at the shop now, so far the experience is good, although the cost of a transmission repair is high , it is an investment, right? Will leave a review after all is done and let you know how that went.The work went well, had the car back for 4 weeks or more now, transmission is working great, car is as it was when i dropped it off. Gabe was super rude to my father. Paid a lot of money for a new transmission and my dad went to pay for it. My father wants to make sure it s working properly because he lives in Colorado. Gabe was very rude to my dad and had terrible customer service. I don t understand why he was so rude to my dad and acting like my father didn t know what he was talking about. Towards the end he started to be a little nicer but I work in customer service and when I m at work I m as nice as possible to every customer no matter what! Also, it s not like we were rude when he came in. We asked how his day was and you could tell he had a bad day. However he s at work. Just my opinion will update on how my father s new transmission holds up.

Rude & Overpriced! I have been stopping by to transmissions shops and AR was about 5 times priced more than other places. They gave us a price of $500.00 for a diagnostic. This place is the only place that will take advantage of people. Like come on really, $500?? If you didn't want to do it just say it! Be honest! I definitely will NOT refer anyone to AR transmissions! All shops were booked and unavailable for more than a week out.

This is the 2nd time I have gone to AR transmission and both times they have conducted themselves professionally. Each time I have needed my transmission rebuilt on the same vehicle. The 2nd time I did not pay a dime because even after 2 plus years it was still under warranty. When you buy a brand new car sometimes the power train warranty is 3 years or a 100,000 miles. That is exactly what AR transmission's warranty was on their work. My car felt so smooth when I drove it after they worked on it. I would recommend them to anybody.

These guys were great, professional and well versed in the GM line.They were recommended by two friends of mine. So far it's been a great experience. I will try and do a year follow up on it when the time comes.

Randy Aaronian kindly provided me weekend phone advice and then when the shop opened on Monday he generously assisted me with theproblem giving his expertise and time. Called to make a price comparison as a AAA member and even if the prices were good, based of the conversation alone I would not bring my car here.Steve was rude.

An AWESOME experience !!!... FINALLY the correct diagnosis once I came here and very fair pricing on my repairs. All the employees I met at AR Transmission were extremely friendly and knowledgeable !! Gabe, Randy & Steve were ALL great... Randy went above and beyond expectations... Thank you for your excellent workmanship on my vehicle... Greatly Appreciated !!!!!

I love this place! They have done several transmission repairs and service for me over the years with various cars. The work has been done well, on time and at a fair price! I never have to worry if they are doing things that are not needed. They are honest and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy transmission shop!

Horrible service from Gabe. On the phone and in person. He needs to reconsider what customer service is all about. For a business to not even wait 10 minute for a customer to pick up their car is ridiculous. Only come at your own risk. This place and this guy Gabe is a total A-hole. I would never recommend to anyone else. Horrible horrible horrible. Can't believe anyone would recommend this guy and his shop

YES! These guys are honest, quick, and have great communication. I lost 3rd and 4th gear and they quoted me $2000 for a new transmission. Called me the next day to let me know they think they know what the problem is and I wouldn't need a new tranny but they wouldn't be able to get to it til after the weekend. Called me the same day and had it fixed for 93.60 before the weekend. Other shops wanted a $60 diagnostics fee and probably would have sold me a new tranny to boot. Thanks for saving me 2 grand guys.

These guys are very professional understanding and do very good work, got my truck into their shop they help me find the transmission I was looking for and got it fixed in a timely matter so I could use it to go to out of state hunting awesome people.

AR Transmission, honest, reliable, good care. Thanks: Gabe, Steve, and Rich. They diagnosed my 2003 Dodge PU and fixed it. I was in a bad way, broke down and from Los Angeles. They drove me to pick up a rental car and kept me informed. My truck is better than new. I strongly recommend AR Transmission in Fresno.

I've been here before for a transmission rebuild. I called this time and spoke to Gabe about dropping a vehicle off to have a transmission issue diagnosed and was immediately greeted with rude and unnecessary attitude. Apparently they're busy enough and no longer need my business so I'll just go somewhere else.

Customer Service is good. Repair was fast.... You get what you pay for....they do excellent work and cost a little more than others in town.

I took my Titan 4 wheel drive in with a slipping transmission, I was told there was metal shaving in the pan and the transmission was definitely failing and in needed to be replaced. Steve told me I had two options a rebuilt transmission with 1 year warranty or a new on to be ordered from Nissan with a 3 year warranty. The difference was approx. $1,000. I chose the new one. When the truck was picked up the paper work stated they installed a rebuilt one but would still get the 3 year warranty. When I called Steve he denied he offered a new transmission but still charged me the $4,810 he quoted for a new transmission. So if you choose to do business with this company make you get the deal in writing in advance so you can't be accused of being a lier. There should be a law against taking advantage of a 70 year old woman.

Transmission started leaking and stopped here to have it looked at, they were busy but got the trucked looked at right away. Found out it was a simple problem and fixed it at no charge and got us back on the road. I would definitely recommend this place.

I called today to get a quote.. first off the guy that answered the phone asked if I could hold.. but before I could answer he put me on hold.. when he finally takes to me he very rude and pushy.. I will not be taking my business here at all and I would never recommend this place.. very rude person that answers the phone!!
