These guys were awesome. We have a T680 that started knocking after fueling a couple of weeks ago. After using several gallons of fuel treatment to no avail .we talked to another driver who had same issue. Told us to stop at KW and have them hook computer up. Its an ongoing fuel injector issue. They got us right in ..hooked up computer ..added some heavy duty injector cleaner ..reprogramed whatever was wrong and got us rolling in about an hour or so. Thanks so much !

I have a commercial account with Pape Kenworth. The whole dealership treats my company like family. I have been working with this dealership since and before they bought out Norcal. The parts department is very knowledgeable on every part I order even if I don't know the name of the part. They get my part. The service department is bomb. Once again very knowledgeable on what they do. We also bought a few trucks and all trucks was at a great cost and had them delivered to another state so they can become transfers. My money is at Pape Kenworth

Signed up the truck friday 25th, MORNING . (by tow truck). Due to engine derated DEF issues, the same day they connected it to the computer and found some codes. The main code was the NOx sensors, something easy to troubleshooting and easy fix.Well, I spend all weekend on the hotel, hoping they ll finished by monday!. Company call them to ask at what time truck will be out of the shop!, right? They said they were short on mechanics, as many of them didn t show up to work on monday! (Incompetent).Today is Tuesday, and they told the company on the morning, that the truck will be ready today on the afternoon, guess what?! Probably not due to mechanics rotation ! The mechanic troubleshooting my truck didn t finished it, and now is working on another truck (due to the rotation) saying that. Front desk customer service just said to me to go back to the hotel.It was a nightmare for me, worst place ever!!it took me a week waiting on the hotel just to fix it.Do not recommend this place to any OTR driver.

The office staff especially Heather D. was awesome to work with from dealing with our concerns, limited time of having a down truck, and getting the truck out as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend them and work with Heather as much as I possible can

Came in for b-service and engine light on . It ended up being def pump other than waiting on parts got great service from everyone from the nice young lady s in service and everyone in the shop great job thanks and I appreciate the extra effort the guys in the shop did to get me done in time so I didn t mess my pickup appointment. I ve been driving for 10 yrs so when my truck went into an engine derate overnight a week before Christmas I was really disappointed because it meant I was going to be late to get home. When I checked in at 8am Angel took my info and was told that they probably wouldn t even be able to look at it until tomorrow morning. I politely asked him to just do his best. Which he exceeded my expectations. I left the shop at 4pm the same day, unheard for a repair in this environment. I missed my appointment to deliver however I m in a much better situation than I could have been. I was informed of progress the whole way all things considered this was, by far, my best experience at any repair shop ever!

Wow, I must say, this shop deserves an award for being the absolute worst in the history of shops! I mean, in my glorious 20-year career, I never thought I'd come across such a remarkable level of incompetence. It was like watching a circus performance, except instead of acrobats, we had clueless mechanics!So, we brought in our truck with a fancy code flashing for a DPF pressure sensor issue. They embarked on a thrilling adventure of diagnosing the problem, which took them several days of intense brain-scratching. Finally, they announced their grand discovery: the ECM needed replacement! Applause, please!But wait, the saga didn't end there! After a few more agonizing days, they triumphantly swapped out the ECM. Drum roll, please! Alas, the universe just couldn't bear to see us happy, because as soon as we exited their premises, the truck decided to have a deja vu and those delightful codes came back to haunt us. Back to the shop we went, like moths to a flame.This time, in an astonishing plot twist, they miraculously figured out that the DPF filters were the true villains all along. Ta-da! Who would have thought that the ECM replacement was just a magnificent diversion? Oh, those clever mechanics, trying so hard to convince me that they had vanquished the "other codes" that magically appeared in their system. Bravo!In the end, I had the privilege of lavishly spending over 10k and experiencing the joy of wasting three whole weeks, all thanks to their remarkable display of incompetence. It was truly a mesmerizing journey filled with delightful surprises at every turn. I must admit, their sheer ineptitude left me in awe. What an unforgettable experience!

Izac is the worst person i met....First they said that it will be covered on warranty and later on end of the day they tell that it's not covered in warranty and ask for charges....when I dropped the truck I asked them will there be any labor charges or anything they said no nothing will be...now they are saying you have to pay for labor charges and it is not covered in warranty

Conveniently located just a few miles from where my truck broke down with a heavy load on. Like super-seriously broke down. Wrecker time. It took a few days waiting for parts, but they got me back on the road. Good thing about being a company driver is they re-powered the load and slipped me into a spare truck for a couple weeks while it was being fixed, then flew me back to pick it up. But that s another off-topic story or two. I have been back in the repaired truck for a couple of weeks now, and it seems to be working just fine.Thanks Pap�!

Very rude worker, went in work the trailer and pretty much for told to get lost and figure it out on the trailer parking cause they don't deal with trailers. Very very rudeThere is ways to talk to people nicely ESPECIALLY if they're flung to drop a couple grand, at least, for repairsWe ALL know how expensive repairs get these days

Probably the worst KW dealer I've been to. Horrible customer service. Was told to be here at 7 a.m. and they'd get me in right away and I'd be out in a couple hours. I was here at 7. They didn't start til noon and now its 9:30 at night and I'm finally leaving. At 2 they said I'd be done at 5. Horrible communication, and the 2nd shift actually blamed me for problems that I explained to 1st shift at 7 a.m. its not my responsibility to babysit new shifts as they come in. I was in the driver lounge all day. If they had questions they could of asked. And to top it off when I got back in the truck they had took plastic pieces off from under my dash and not put everything back together, they were laying on floor. So I had to put it together to finish their job for them. This place will never again get business from me.

Expect to be here a couple days if you come in for service. They are extremely under staffed & a bit lazy which means it ll take forever before they get your truck fixed. Came in for a simple air leak & im currently on day three with no word on when they will finish my truck.

They seem to know their stuff. I had an air leak coming from my transmission. I spent 3 days at the TA in Reno waiting on parts and services. They couldn't figure out the problem. Local Kenworth shops were booked into next week, but Pape was available next morning so I traveled there.Repair was quick and the technician found the problem and fixed it within an hour. However the truck had a few recall items that needed to be done so I had to wait on those.My only complaint is that as an owner operator there is an anxiety waiting to find out costs of repairs. I wish they would have contacted me once they knew what my portion of costs was going to be. It certainly would have been a relief toi know it was only $250.Due to this Covid stuff, they closed the driver lounge and provided 6 office chairs under a beach sun cover outside. Since it was October, the weather wasn't terribly miserable but it sure wasn't like sitting in an air conditioned room. I realize they can't help that, it's a state thing and they have no choice. My recommendation is get a hotel room or rent a car while your truck is in the shop. Maybe pepe could negotiate some day room rates for customers that will be done within the day.Overall, yes I would use them again, like all dealers they aren't cheap, but that's ok if they know their job and can fix issues quickly. I would rather pay more per hour to someone who can do the job in half the time.

Worst customer service! They kept my rig for over a month for service , I called numerous time to check status in the service and every time just gave excuses. They would say they would call me back, they never did. I don t recommend this place, unless if you want ur rig to sit at their service lot for over a month, then this is the perfect place to do that.

Took them a week and a half to call me and tell me one of ours trucks was ready. If I had nor called they probably still would've had the truck on their shop. This was theSecond time for same issue. They have really dropped the ball in the service department.

SERVICE SHOP IS CHEATER &IF TRUCK UNDER WARRANTY STILL TRY to STEAL MONEY FROM CUSTOMERevery TIMES same issue . Transmission issue &truck only have 282000 miles they saying not under warranty.this guys not doing there job properlycheater

OTR Driver here. Took my company truck here for service, had a small minor fuel leak around/at fuel pump, adaptive cruise fault, needed a new oil pan gasket, and a fuel tank cap. They promptly check you in and pull any codes upon arriving. They started working on my truck same day, in fact that afternoon, I brought truck in morning. They are a no non sense old school type shop, my overall experience with them was okay. Only problem was getting the 3 separate parts needed for the adaptive cruise fault, my company requires estimate, that was done by them fairly well, and my company gave approval promptly. The only thing I wish they would have done was put the price to overnight the parts in the original estimate, as that became more of a repeat issue. Anyways my truck would have been done within 2 days, but due to one of those 3 parts being misplaced by the delivery company it took a total of 7 days...lol....but they followed thru with the delivery company, as soon as they got the 3rd part, it was installed same day, road tested and checked out. Their nice people from the staff to the service department. Drivers lounge upstairs, free wifi, and also a brand new Flying J you can walk to (less then 1/4 of a mile). Not a 24/7 shop, they close at like 10 pm, closed Sunday. Anyways nice to have my truck back and cruise, etc working fine.

If I could give less stars I would. I was literally turned away because I have a trailer with me. The lady had no care that I was from out of state and my brand new Kenworth was having issues. A 2022 with 17k mi on it. Now I have to figure out how to limp it to some other dealer to get help. Terrible customer service.

Really bad service!!!!!My Truck arrived at the shop Friday morning on the 25th of January for a check engine light. It takes them 5 days to start working on it and they're suggesting one more day to have it fixed. Service desk people told me that most of the mechanics called in sick Monday and that they're short stuffed.My suggestion for all drivers is to stay away from this dealer unless you want to spend one week at the hotel for one freaking check engine light. Plus they're charging me 6hrs for trouble shooting a sensor!!!!!This is outrageous.

I drive a Peterbilt 579.. had defdoser. Dead and wire break.. and called the Peterbilt dealer.. got directly answer I had to wait minimal 2 weeks before they even could look at me.. what a joke.. called these guys!! Amazing now 2 work days I'm back on the road!! Great mechanics and office people.. thank you.

They suck. Spent 6 days on a visual problem. Didn't stay in contact. Could of given me the option to pay overnight freight for my part or I could have went to bay area and gotten it. Inland Kenworth had my truck less than 24 hrs. And diagnosed and repaired my #6 injector that pape couldn't find!!!
