11/9/23 Thursday synthetic oil change, tire rotation n alignment 11am appointment still took 3 hrs to finish the job. They r very very bad, why r schedule appointments when they over booked.3/13/23 Monday alternator belt, engine gasket drop at 12:30pm till 7:30pm too much means too much waiting1/16/23 Monday very good location in downtown Fremont near Hub. I always bring my cars here for repairs or maintenance. Spacious waiting area. Friendly staff. Always go by appointment even though appointment still long wait. They have staff shortage.......Hope owner look into this problem!!!!!!Hope they maintain quality n service affordable for all customers.They use to have a free water bottle for customers but no more after pandemic.

As usual I received excellent service at Wheel Works in Fremont. Frank is awesome! He gave me good information about my car , He was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. They repaired my car in the time they said they would. I just can t say enough about how good these guys are!

Horrible service by the Manager!! I called ahead and they said yeah the tires are available and I can come in, drove 1 hour to get here and the Manager there says we have them in stock but can t put those on today. We have to put them on tomorrow!! It is 4:30 PM, the shop closes at 6:00 PM!! I even had an appointment as I called in earlier from Wheel Works of Belmont. This Fremont one is horrible. Avoid this place!!

I came in with a busted tire after being told by AAA it could most likely not be repaired. I relayed this to Wheelworks. They were able to repair, saving me at least a couple hundred dollars. The service was completed on time, the staff friendly. A very satisfied customer.

They do not honor appointments!!! Got an appointment early in the morning, arrived there and was told that they took in too many walk-ins and my car won t get fixed until 6 hours later, after they fix all the walk-ins first. This is a joke. When a business prioritize walk-ins over customers with set appointments, you know there s no integrity left. They wasted my entire day, I do not recommend this place to anybody. Look somewhere else.

The tires were installed and as soon as the vehicle was driven we noticed a sound coming from the front left tire, turned back on the spot (did not drive more than a block away just to do a U-turn), one of the technicians drove it and noticed it as well then the master technician drove it, came back and said he didn't notice anything and handed the vehicle back to us; you can even feel something making the pedals or floor vibrate at the same pace with the sound, we had to reschedule for an inspection since they were closing at that time, it is a brand new 2023 Tesla Model Y Performance which was only getting the summer tires swapped for winter tires, it has never been involved in an accident and there is clearly no wear on anything on the vehicle. We will have to cancel a trip which we already had bookings and reservations for and obviously the shop will not reimburse us for that.

Too Expensive. Mobile mechanics do fine work for a fraction of the cost of these guys.Had an appt at 1030 am for free brake inspection. I rejected their outrageous quote over the phone at noon and went to pick up my car at 4 pm and had to wait on them for almost an hour to put the wheels back on it. Not your neighborhood mechanic.

Brake was making noise so dropped my car off for a check. Reception (who kept giving me an attitude) said that they could replicate the issue but when I asked which brake/brakes are making noises they cannot even tell. In addition to failing to find out the location of the issue, they just provided me a fix solution which cannot possibly be right. I was told that the rotors are on the wrong sides, even though they are installes correctly per manufacturer's recommendation. Would not trust somewhere that won't even bother to investigate the problem and irresponsibly make up a cause.

Great staff and work product at the fremont location. Nate, Ravi, and Mel really took care of my needs. I walked in without an appointment and in a rush. Made me feel like family without giving me a hard time lunlike the newark location did.

this place is super under staffed and has been for awhile. they need help for minor maintenance with an appointment they quote 4 hours. my car sat fit 2 hours without being touched. it s unacceptable and needs to better be addressed. i wasted my entire morning and only got shoulder shrugs.

On Saturday 03/16/2024 after I left my car to get the service. I went to walk around the area because they told me the service would take about 2 hours. I backed after an hour and half and asked the store Manager. Mel Adame, "Could you check my car is ready." He asked me, " What is your car and what is your last name?" He told me your car is not ready and we are behind. I just back at the waiting room and wait my car. I told him I am hear please let me know when my car is ready. I wait another hour and nothing happened. I approached again to the female employee who checked in my car and asked her, I am waiting more than 3 hours and half. What's going on? She told me your car is ready for a while. She told me Mel did mistake, your car was ready when you asked him! I DON'T APPRECIATE THE WAY HE TREAT ME AND THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

My first time in Wheel Works I got a good price for 4 tires so that was good for me, but a month later I got one of the tire with a ball (damage with no reason) so I came to the shop to ask for the guarantee. They said I need to wait for an hour when the manager comes back. At the end I was waiting all day with no answer. The next time when I tried to get replaced my tires the costumer service was too bad. They refused to replace it and they wanted to change the tire for a an additional price another one for $150. . It is a cost for a new one not giving the warranty plus another charge for the installation.The big error where it was the problem they hadn't checked miticilously the tire and give the guarantee as is on the purchase time as well as to make sure giving a better costumer service.

Wheel works charges $21 for tire rotation. It is free in Costco and American tires. I will never change tires in Wheelworkd.

I went on December 30 for my Honda Civic. Front desk person was extremely rude. I asked to perform scheduled maintenance. He said he didn't understand it. As a vehicle maintenance shop they know know all vehicle maintenance code. Next I asked about approx time for the service like couple of hours. That also he said he don't know. I have chosen full vehicle inspection & paid for it as well. But after the service, that guy didn't tell what was done & any thing found during inspection. Then what is the point of choosing inspection. I felt like I was not welcomed in the store.

My Tesla model Y, had a nail in the tire. The technicians did not fix it right. The air was still leaking next day. So after waiting for 4 hrs on Wednesday (12/13) and paying for Uber both ways, i had to come back on Friday (12/15).

I bought a set of wheels from the Tire Rack, who listed this Wheel Works as one of their preferred installers, so the day I received the wheels, I called the store to inquire about bringing in my existing tires and rims and have my existing tires (<6000 miles) installed on my new wheels. I was told no problem and no appointment necessary. Today I took my tires and wheels in (off the car) and was told they could not reinstall my used tires on my new wheels. So, I went across the street to America s Tires who were happy to do the job and they DID a fine job.

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with wheel Works, and my experience was incredibly disappointing. when I called I got hung up on half way through my conversation than when I called back I get put on hold because she was assisting another customer than she put me on hold for 10 min only to hang up on me. When I finally did get through she seemed disinterested. I can't express how frustrating and unacceptable this kind of customer service is, and I would strongly caution anyone against doing business with this company in the future. I just went to big discount tire pros where they had better customer service.

I used this place regularly for rotation and wheel alignment. They have a lifetime alignment program and I have done this for multiple cars. Wait time is reasonable, large waiting area or you can walk to Target/Starbucks across the street. Good location

My right front car window could not roll up and down so I had it checked in this shop. They said that the window switch need to be replaced. I payed the diagnose service. They charged me $300 deposit for ordering the switch on Saturday afternoon 5:40 pm. On my way back to home I found the window actually works so I called them to cancel the order. The front desk girl said they all were off work now. She said I could call on Monday. On Monday early morning I called the shop to cancel my order and the guy told me I could not cancel the order. He said they already placed the order (obviously they had not order the part yet). They still charged me $300 for doing nothing. Very bad shop.Service: Electrical repair

OK, following up my alignment painful experience, after three days delay and a lot of call, finally they can work on my alignment. But still worrying and bad experience.Tuesday, 1/31/2023, as the appointment I get the in the store around 8:30AM to have the alignment and tire rotation done.At first, the store manager (Jack) told me that they cannot do both the alignment and rotation before 11:00AM. They can only do alignment. With my insist request, and said I can wait. They agree to do both for me as the paper work showed.9:30AM I get notified that my car is done, both tire rotation and alignment. You see....But, always but, when I check the alignment report, some of the actual value and before value are the same and out of specified range. Check the uploaded pic of the report.Call them and ask what happened, have they do any adjustment? I get the response is that "their printer is broken", what a another ridiculous reason? why they did not tell me upfront when they gave me the report? They told me everything has been bring to manufacturing recommendation. Is it? Shall I trust them?I call them again, and I will get in to store next week (they mentioned that, their printer or s/w will get fixed next week). I think it is better to re-run the alignment check again.Service: Wheel alignment

Raoul and Jack are very professional and kind. Run flat tires are going bad on three of the four tires. One had a psi of 10.8 and wouldn t let air into the tire (and poured out air from valve when trying to put air in). I had to replace. They had buy 3 get 1 free but had to also get the alignment. The car is driving normal again.

Suggesting everybody to never use their services and dont trust them. Very bad service ,one of the worst experience of my life resulted in waste of money and time.Highly unprofessional and incompetent team first traped me with wrong time comittment then came up with addtional cost and the real problem was not solved even made worse denied to reinspect seconed day gave me stress for three days abd finally got it fix after huge stress .it was waste of money and time for me.Will never use these cheaters again.Found them not honest and truthful as well

Made an appointment for 9 am, arrived there on time and they took my key. 2.5 hours later, my car has not been checked. What's the point of making appointment then?
