Avoid at all costs. This place is anything but stress-free. Brought my car in on last Friday for brakes and oil change. Picked my car up and drove home then noticed a scratch and dent on the driver side. Went back up to the shop and they asked me to go to a body repair shop they work with to get an estimate of the damages. I went and it was pretty significant for the amount of damage. But then AFTER seeing the estimate FROM THEIR RECOMMENDED SHOP, they told me they won't be fixing my car because I left the parking lot already. I will now have to sue them to rightfully fix my car. The person who scratched my car knows that they did it and the corporate people at this company are protecting them. They assume people do not have the resources to sue them.Service: Brakes

Great services, reasonable price and very good detail inspection on what is really needed. Omar and Paul were great and friendly in honestly answering all my questions. New place to register and future service all my ICE/Hybrid vehicles in same home town. Very nice and clean customer waiting area with streaming.

Bob s Auto staff are extremely helpful, personable, and knowledgeable. Communication is unbeatable. Small town hospitality in a city I was unfamiliar with. I was updated frequently by text and phone calls which I appreciated. I was also able to check out the live feed of shop to see my truck in real time. They even did a courtesy full body inspection of my truck!When my truck was broken into and damaged to the point I couldn t start it, I looked up auto repair near me to have it towed there. After reading the reviews I knew this was the right place to fix my truck. However, they continued to beat expectations. Getting my truck repaired quickly was such a huge relief. 10/10 service guys. I recently had some idiot try to take off with my car in the middle of the night and well they didn t get so lucky but my car was messed up. Had to get it towed. I m so happy I chose to go with this shop. They took my vehicle in same day and garaged it until it was back to normal. Excellent techs and Convenient system that allows u to see your car s inspection report as it is being completed. Their system also allows you to view your invoice ahead of time and pay thru a secure link, making an even easier time picking your vehicle up.Seriously guys 10/10 and they work on all types of vehicles.For all of your vehicles needs Call stress free auto! Friendly associates with fair pricing. My car is pretty old and rare so there were a few services they couldn't offer for it, but they were quick, expedient and informed. For the work they didn't do they provided a referral to someone who specializes in carburetors

Excellent service. Paul was great. I have been looking for an auto repair shop since my mechanic closed his business after Covid 19 first came out. Stress-Free Auto is where I will be going to from now on for future repairs and maintenance on my vehicles.

For years my husband and I having been going to Bob s Auto for all repairs. Finding that Steve was still there, I felt comfortable about trying Stress-free Auto Care. Front desk, Paul, was very courteous and helpful. Very up dated on technology and kept me informed thru the process. I was concerned about a couple other items besides an oil change but they reported back stating work not needed. I feel that they are honest and I will use their service in the future.

I love using Stress Free Auto's web-based scheduling. It's so easy to pick a day and time that fits my schedule and without a phone call, being on hold, or voice mails. I was able to get an appt for an oil change on the same day. Servicing is quick and easy. Waiting in the lounge is convenient. I could have a video chat with a friend using the wi-fi, drink complimentary hot chocolate, and snack on a bag of chips while I waited. I got regular text updates as to the status of my car. I sort of miss the old-fashioned ambiance of Bob's, but do not miss having to find friends to bring me there and drop me off because there was no comfortable place to wait. The new staff treat me nice, and I love having technician Steve work on my car. I recommend Stress Free Auto / Bob's Auto Repair without hesitation.

I went with Initial Diagnostics with $180 as my car was giving Jerks when riding the car. As per diagnostic report they recommended to replace Transmission assembly with total costs $7500. I am totally lost my mind when I heard it, as I bought this car as 2nd owner for $6500.Latest update: 12/19 - I have taken the car to other service center and they said its just a false Alert. They charged $70 for Diagnostic and its been more than 2 months and same car is running without any issues.

It was a nice place for the service. The shop is clean, Greg is nice. Not only he completes the oil change, but also identifies the things need pay attention. Under new ownership since last year. Growing pain: Not even close to level of service as before when it was Bob who ran the place. No longer can you get quote for specific service online. I had to call twice to get a quote which is about 40% higher than dealer for same service in my case. As an independent shop they will need lots of work with respect to communication and pricing if they want to compete against authorized dealer.

Greg and the Stress Free Auto couldn't have done any more to help my family and I at a critical time. They worked on our car and part failure disabled it months later. They not only made good on the repair, also supplied a vehicle for us during a desperate situation. I'm out of state and I'm supported one hundred percent by them to help my family. Couldn t have been more impressed with service. The staff was friendly and did brake pad inspections at no cost. I have been using this auto repair place for 10 years. Steve has been and continues to be the best mechanic I can trust in the Fremont, Ca area. Great customer service and they were very fast, took my Toyota walk-in for an oil change and they were done in under an hour. I also liked that they provided pictures and a digital report of their under the hood inspection.

Mystery of a new battery going dead...solved quickly, just for the analysis fee...retrieving and replacing a broken dip stick required taking the head off and a new head gasket..done quickly, at a reasonable cost. My old 1999 car loves Stress Free!Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

I really recommend them, they take care of you in the best way if you were part of their family. And they work for you honestly, without cheating or hidden charges, they also support you in Spanish for the Latino and Mexican brothers who want a reliable service, they have a good price.
